The hot sauce is yummy, complex and REALLY hot! Warning, they don't sell individual tamales, so you'll have to commit to at least 6. Which in my opinion, is a good problem to have. The location is a little odd at first, but there is some great people watching as the Ashland / Bancroft intersection sees a lot of traffic. It's located right next to the brand spanking new Dollar General store, and across the street from that dodgy gas station. 5 stars for a taco truck in the hood? You betcha. This place is legit, and so so close to my house I know it's going to be the death of me. But if this is how I am going to die, I am going to die a happy man.

We pick it up and we eat it in our car down by the raisin river. It's no big deal for us eating in our car since we do this often sharing meals and avoiding eating in and having to leave a tip.
