It was a small homey kind of place. There are steaks and seafood on the menu, a senior discount from 3-6(Sun-Thur only). Lots of local beers on tap, plenty of wine and it looked like a full bar. Service was quick and they do check back. I got the perch meal with 2 sides. Garlic mashed potatoes are very good, salad looked good , but I'd skip the French onion soup.

We were staying at nearby Maumee Bay State Park. We arrived at opening and were the first customers on a Saturday afternoon (2pm). Got a little worried as we were the only car in the parking lot. From the get go everything was top notch. Our server was excellent. We both had the Walleye ( one fried, the other blackened ). Both perfectly done. Salad was nice and fresh. We ordered the carrot cake to go. Realistically enough to feed four people it was that big. Price wise it was a little on the pricier side. But the food was the star of the show . The only negative I would recommend is a little TLC on the exterior of the building. The mossy canvas awnings gave it a neglected look. But otherwise we will return.

The Oregon Inn is a hidden gem in Oregon Ohio. It's a family owned and operated establishment that is enjoyed by the locals as much as visitors from outside. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The staff a very friendly and helpful . The menu looked really good. We went for fresh perch and walleye and that did not disappoint. But prime rib is a specialty and the chef's special was a roasted chicken dinner that looked sensational and many of the regulars were ordering it. The portions on all the dishes were generous. They have a full service bar. Don't miss this place if you are looking for a great local restaurant. They source locally and really do a great job.

We decided on a little road trip out to the Maumee Bay shore line and we're pleasantly surprised by great food good service and a very cute atmosphere! The Oregon inn was just what we needed sitting out on the patio watching the birds play in the flowers and enjoy a great burger and a great club sandwich if you're ever out this way make sure to stop in it's worth your time and the drive!!

Nice local place close to Maumee Bay State Park. Inside is a bar and casual restaurant. Good was very good. Rolls were served warm with butter. Side salads were large. Chicken salad was delicious. Kids did not like the Mac and cheese and thought it was too stringy.

Stumbled across the Oregon Inn on Bayshore as a family member had a gift card. A group of 9 of us stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We were warmly greeted upon entering and were promptly seated. This was my first time to experience the Oregon Inn. It is not much to look at from the outside, but it is a diamond in the rough for sure. Our server was more than accommodating, very helpful to the group in making suggestions, and answering any questions we had about the menu. Drinks and appetizers were at the table before we knew it and our meals were brought to the table in perfect timing as we finished the appetizers and salads. A few in our group ordered a half portion of Lake Perch and the filets were enormous! All of us were very satisfied with our food, the service was on point, and the price point was very reasonable for the size of the portion. Very well done. We will be back!

The Oregon Inn is the type of Toledo area gem I hope will be around forever. Mostly because of the authentically local experience it provides The menu is simple in it's point of view, with things like fried fish, and pasta, but what you realize once the food arrives is that for example the steak, is hand cut and cooked to shocking perfection. And that cajun seasoning you might have asked for? It will actually be way more than a light dusting. Sure, the side salads are a little wilty, and the shrimp cocktail was not served cold, but goodness gracious, that coconut cream pie was a slice of heaven. The location and interior are uniquely homey, and the food is priced a little higher than you'd expect for the area, but it's a great experience and the service was truly kind. Just give them some patience. It can get super busy on the weekends, so if it's your first time, try to get there early for a good seat.

The service is good the food is not. This is Cisco food service grade stuff fried or microwaved to order. Absolutely not worth the money.

Our server Kelly was the best! I couldn't decide on a drink and without hesitation she recommended the pomegranate martini. It was amazing, frothy and smooth and I couldn't resist ordering a second one! It's one of the best that I've ever had! We ordered the nut crusted Brie for an appetizer which had berry compote on top. It was good but could've been hotter. I actually took the rest home and heated it up again the next day and it was so good as I warmed it up! My husband ordered the steak and shrimp Alexander with a 1lb baked potato! I ordered the petite filet with green beans. Everything was delicious, our steaks were cooked perfectly medium! We also added mushrooms as a topping for our steaks. The steak was seasoned well, no need to add anything to it and I could cut it with just my fork. We were seated in a booth in the area to the left beyond the entrance. I liked it because it was cozy, dimmed lighting, and we witnessed several couples celebrating their anniversaries! I also saw others order onion rings that looked delicious and will have to try next time! We also asked about ordering dinner at the bar sometime and it's totally acceptable. I'm happy that we had such a good night and a delicious birthday meal. I only wished that they would offer a complimentary dessert for your birthday, the cheesecake was yummy!

I hadn't realized before that there is a large room to the right of the bar area. We were there for a somewhat early dinner at 6pm on a Saturday and the place was bustling! Definitely make a reservation. (I used Open Table online two or three weeks in advance and it was very easy.) We were greeted shortly after being seated and our server advised us of the special entrees after taking our drink orders. We decided to split the roasted beet salad which also came with herbed goat cheese. Our server brought the salad on two plates- already divided. The salad was absolutely amazing!! I am seriously still craving it and the portion was so large that I couldn't even finish my half. Our server promptly boxed it up before our entrees were served. For the main course, I ordered one of the specials- scallops with rice sauteed with spinach. My friend had pork roast with carrots, which was a large portion - no complaints and she took home leftovers for another meal. I'll speak to my scallops... They were perfectly prepared, but there were only three scallops and a plentiful serving of rice and spinach. I love spinach and this side was very well seasoned. It didn't take long to eat the three scallops and the spinach pieces in the rice. I definitely enjoyed my meal, but wished for even one more scallop. Since my entree was a special that was verbally announced, I didn't know the price until I saw the bill. While it was delicious, I found the $41 charge a bit steep. The Standard is exceptional in almost every way- service was impeccable, amazing food, lovely ambiance- but be prepared for a pricey evening. My friend and I had a very enjoyable time and I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will say, however, that it can be difficult to talk because it is so busy. That said, it's popular for a reason! Check out the photos below for a virtual experience.
