Since my first visit I've already made two additional visits. The fresh juices they have over the weekend are delish. I also believe they carry a selection in their small refrigerator. There's also a wood fired pizza vendor there I've seen ok Saturday's, however check their social media for who exactly will be there. The pizza is something else. I've gone twice just for the pizza alone. My go to is the veggie pizza. I wish I would have stopped sooner, all vendors and staff are friendly and helpful. Stop by this quaint for a home town feel.

Everything is so good -- nothing like the flavorless junk in the supermarket. It's a little out of the way and possibly hard to find, but it's honestly only like five minutes from the freeway. You actually get to talk to the guy who grows the produce -- Mr. Rios. He said he has leased the land for 37 years, and he took the time to show us around and show us the 400 tomato plants he just planted. He was proud of his work, and he told us what fruits were coming into season in the next couple of months. Needless to say, I definitely look forward to return trips.

I touch it and look at it, but I can't quite do the DILL PICKLE one BUT maybe one day?! The produce is very nice and they have an olive oil and food bar that is very attractive. They also carry KETTLE brand UNSALTED chips, which are Bomb Diggity! The "cookie bar" where you choose your own cookies by the pound is out of this world and satisfies your sweet tooth itch BIG time. There is a nice section of granola and many corn chips to choose from, my favorite are the LA FORTALEZA stoneground corn tortilla chips, restaurant style- NO preservatives NO cholesterol, gluten-free and a huge bag for around four dollars, it's insane!. When you walk in the door, there's a great floral selection. I always browse and look, they're beautiful. The staff is nice, easy-going and very helpful. I get their refried beans on the regular as they're always fresh and ready to eat. It's $3.99 per each pound and they put the ready made beans in a container for you. Essentially, I'm picking up my dinner and I don't have to cook. The beans are 90% very fresh and flavorful. You can't beat Mexican beans! I'm also an avid pan dulce fan which means I HAVE to at least stop by the bakery up front and pick up a gingerbread pig or Mexican chocolate chip cookie! The bread is made fresh each day and is constantly rotated. I've never gotten sweet bread that's been sitting there all day! It's always delicious and soft. Once in a blue moon, I stop at the in-store restaurant and it's home to some pretty solid food. Locals stand by it and there's plenty of seating in the dining area. The carnicería (meat market) is long and offers a variety of seafood, meats and more. I usually don't grab anything from there but it's definitely popular. As for ambiance, a lot of the folks I encounter are borderline depressed or troubled. I've never gotten a truly rude person, but the situation here with the staff is a bit awkward. Anyways, overall I suggest this market, it's clean and dependable! Pick up some Mexican bread!
