The non-profit organization TLWL Inc. had our annual fundraiser at this nice venue recently. The place was absolutely beautiful, staff was friendly and accomodating. They made every effort to make us and our quests feel welcomed and comfortable. They let us in early to decorate, and allowed our board members to come in day in advance and bring in some donated goodies for this event. This venue is perfect for so many type of functions, either private or corporate, and it is clean, calm, asessable, classy, and just inviting with a nice view out to the nature. The bar was conveniently located by the lobby and next to the "mingling area." Parking lot has several handicap parking spaces right at the front entrance, and the layout of the parking is practical. Thank you to The Metropolitan Club! You made our day perfect. Your family and staff deserve way more than five stars. Next time we will take a spin on the dance floor. Thank you again. read more

Quite the hidden gem for sure. I must have passed this place 40 or 50 times without knowing it was there but was surprised at the beautiful venue and great customer service we found at a Holiday event there recently. The décor was great, and the service both at the bars and the general staff was outstanding. We selected The Metropolitan Club for a wedding reception and the owner and staff were awesome in all respects. From selection of menu, the wine list and a variety of other elements the staff were excellent and so accommodating. The day of the event, everything was set up to perfection. Food was great, as was bar service and all aspects of manager of the entire event. Sarah managed everything unobtrusively and very effectively. Everything was on time and delivered perfectly. I have never been to the Metropolitan Club, but I was really impressed! I was invited here for a special event that benefited the Sunshine Kids, a charity for children with cancer. I was so happy to be a part of such a fun event and an important charity. They had live music, and a buffet dinner with Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert. I was really impressed with the staff and the food was pretty good as well. This event space was really perfect for this type of event. They had tables set up with different gift baskets you could bid on for the charity, and it was well flowing, with plenty of room to move around. Parking was a breeze, and easily accessible to the entrance. Always a plus when you're in heels. I always am worried about places like this for the quality of food, but it was pretty good overall, and I wouldn't hesitate to have an event here if I needed a large space. I had my wedding reception at the Metropolitan Club and can say without hesitation that I made the right choice! It's a beautiful space and the owner Lee and the manager Bill are wonderful to work with. They are organized and kind and have extensive knowledge about event planning. My favorite parts about the space, which I feel make it unique, are the piano and beautiful outside patio. Additionally, the garden in the back is a great place to take pictures. I did not get the chance to have our event at this venue. We had a appointment to view the event space for a wedding. When we walked in the door, The first thing she said was, look how big this wooden table is, the guests can walk in and put their gift on the table. She proceeded to walk to the cocktail area, said it could easily fit 100-150 people. ( no way, 50 tops ) The worst part of the "walk-thru" was she walked over to the reception area, big room beautiful flooring, huge space. Again, what came out of her mouth was, " my daughter got married here, it was a beautiful wedding. But, she is divorced now" Talk about bad vibes, the bride and groom to be immediately were ready to leave. The walk through was beyond embarrassing and awful. Nice venue for business parties. A wedding not so much, its in the business district. read more

Metropolitan Club?? Sounds fancy and stuff. Well, yes and no. Very nice facility! Very clean, modern and spacious! We hosted a work event here and I was very impressed. First off, the staff here is 100% professional. We had attention the whole time from waitstaff, to servers, to floor managers. Everyone did a great job. Food was outstanding. I couldn't believe I was at a banquet hall at instead of a nice restaurant. Everything was warm and fresh and the presentation was great. Again, the space is clean and there is plenty of parking. They have a nice bar area, coat room, wide open floor area, close bathrooms...this place pretty much has it all. We've been trying to get in here for our Xmas party but they are always booked up then, now I know why! read more

Just got back from my buddies wedding and they had everything at The Metropolitan Club; ceremony and reception. It was a great space and even though the ceremony was outside in July in Atlanta the shading tree line still made it bearable. The staff moved us from one room to the other in the most professional way where no one felt like they were cattle. They rented out the entire place so we had the run of it and the grounds were beautiful. From what I understand, they went through a lot of different menus with the bride and groom to tailor it to their specifications(groom is from the South and bride is from the Upper East Coast). All in all a great place to have any event, the only thing holding it back is that it is at LEAST 30 minutes away from Atlanta proper and if it gets too late you are stick in Alpharetta for the night. read more

Me and now my wife got married on 4/10/21 Saturday inside beautiful Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA and we went to The Metropolitan Club for our reception after the wedding. Me and my wife first contacted The Metropolitan Club one year ago for quote and questions for our reception after our wedding. Our original wedding was on September 2020 but because of covid spike we had to move it to 2021. Me and my wife emailed and called The Metropolitan Club and also visited back and forward so we can set our reception there. We had two other reception place but The Metropolitan Club had the best option, price, location, scene, big space, awesome looks, luxury vibe, food choices, and finally best client service manager name Mackenzie Shapiro. She made everything happened! From beginning to end and start to finish. I am so grateful and thankful for her services and her help to make me and my wife's wedding day with amazing finale and end with extraordinarily ending to our wedding day! It was most magical day for us and The Metropolitan Club made it happen and also I really want to say last thank you again to Mackenzie for her help and I want to give her sincere gratitude, appreciation, and thanks for everything she have done for us. He's experienced and knows how to run an event and understands vendors' and clients' needs. Our shows run very smoothly at this facility. * The Metropolitan Club offers a comfortable setup, great off-the highway location and easy load-in for vendors. For clients, everything is on one level without stairs. I think that's a big plus, especially for elderly guests. * We've done weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and corporate events here. Just got back from a beautiful wedding at this venue. Saturday night wedding and reception. Our hosts had arranged for hotel accommodations down the street at the Marriott so it was incredibly convenient for us out of towners. The location was nice. It may have been a converted office building but we would never have guessed. So nice inside. The staff never missed a beat to ensure everyone was moved through the different areas of our event. There was a very nice cocktailing area after the ceremony with a full bar. All the servers and bar tenders were smiling and pleasant and just added to the atmosphere. Very attentive during the meal. The food was excellent. It was modern and decorated elegantly (I know that is more the wedding planner) but this venue can be done in so many ways. Parking was easy and accessible. Many attendees were offered shuttle service between the venue and the Marriott down the street. I think this is a great venue for a wedding. Lots of folks from out of town at this wedding, but many locals as well. read more

Both my sister and I had our wedding receptions here and they were excellent!! Service is amazing, food was top notch, and sooooo spacious!!! It even has a bar :) not a full one, of course, but perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything different. My only, very minor, complaint would be outdoor scenery is minimum. Very little opportunity for nice photos. Very few flowers, etc. But the facility itself, very nice. read more
