Before moving into the apartment in February of 2018 a formal complaint was submitted to corporate concerning the racist profiling from the property manager. The manager has never been pleasant and refuses to speak directly to me. If I am trying to speak with her regarding the property or unit she will ask the assistant manager who is a woman of color to tell me her responses as if I am not in the room. For examhave asked that the groundskeepers trim the bushes and keep up the ground regularly around the buildings and pool. This was a reasonable request. After all, the name of the community is "Mansfield on The Green". After going to school, obtaining multiple degrees and certifications it saddens me to see that some people still see African American men as threats. In addition, becoming a prominent figure in the community I would have never expected to relocate back to Texas and experience such treatment. My hope is that no one experiences this level of disrespect, but that all African Americans are treated equally. As long as this manager is at the property I would not recommend Mansfield on The Green to anyone.

They post regular content and often do negotiated deals. However, I quickly learned that the only way you can really take advantage of these deals is if you're ready to sign then and there. It is first-come first-serve and unfortunately, it was not practical for most people to wait around for the perfect deal not knowing the timeline. Most apartments require you to provide 60 day notice of intent to vacate. This timeline felt shorter for me because I was going on an international business trip. I did not really have the time to look around and wasn't sure what to do. Luckily for me, I stumbled across The Realm Agency on Instagram. I liked that their posts showed pricing and location. Sometimes apartment locators can be really obscure in my opinion. I sent them a message and sure enough someone contacted me shortly after. That's when I had the privilege to meet Chris- the best locator around! Chris was super attentive to all of my needs and questions. He inquired about what type of apartment I was looking for, amenities, my budget, expected move in date, etc. I gave him some areas I was interested in and within a few days he had compiled an extensive list for me. I am not lying when I say that Chris worked around the clock to help me find the perfect apartment! We were texting each other during random hours since I was traveling and working in both the Philippines and South Korea. He always kept me informed about my options and was never pushy on a single property. I appreciated his honesty and feedback in regards to the pros/cons of available properties. Working with him honestly felt like talking to a friend! There was one property that I really ended up liking and Chris was able to set up a virtual tour. However, that same apartment ended up getting leased during my tour. I was pretty upset over it, but Chris was able to offer me an even better alternative shortly after (literally the next day or so). I felt so grateful since it felt like a huge burden had been taken off of my shoulders. Let me also point out that I am a pretty picky person. I had high expectations for my new apartment and was so worried I wouldn't find the perfect place. I finally moved in today and I truly love it! I moved to Harvest Lofts at Farmer's Market (an area that I did not even first consider). Chris truly wants to help you find a property that you will not only like but love. If you're looking for a new place, do yourself a favor and contact The Realm Agency!! It is completely free and saves you so much time. BEWARE!! Brian Ruiz (the owner) lied to me and stole from me. I was looking to buy a piece of…read moreproperty from him - Brian's listing for that piece of property stated that the property had a CLEAN TITLE. However, it did NOT have a clean title, it had a SALVAGE title - something which Brian later admitted that he KNEW ABOUT the whole time. In other words, Brian **knowingly** FALSELY ADVERTISED the title as a being a clean title. He never disclosed to me that it was SALVAGE until I later found out for myself and confronted him about it! Prior to me finding that out, I had already paid Brian a $3000 deposit through a bank-to-bank wire transfer (it turns out that wire transfers can't be reversed by the bank, by the way). It wasn't until AFTER Brian had my $3k in his pocket that he provided me the VIN number, which then allowed me to do my own due diligence research into the title status. It was only through my own due diligence that I found out that the title was a SALVAGE TITLE!! So by the time I found out it was SALVAGE title, Brian already had $3000 of my money in his pocket. I contacted him immediately and informed him that I had discovered it was a SALVAGE title, NOT a clean title. I assumed good intent on his part at first and politely asked him to refund my deposit. He refused. I then called him out directly for misrepresenting the title as clean when in fact it's salvage, and I reiterated my request for a refund of my deposit. He responded with, "Just forget it. You just wasted a month of my time. You should be happy I don't invoice you for that." SEE THE SCREENSHOT ATTACHED TO THIS REVIEW!! I then proceeded to ask him yet again to refund my deposit. In response, he tried to coerce me into still completing my purchase from him within 3 days, even though I had just learned that it was a salvage title, which he had NEVER DISCLOSED!! And he also told me that I could sue him if I want!! Again, CHECK THE SCREENSHOT!! If I could give Brian negative one zillion stars, I would. The moral of the story here is this: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BRIAN RUIZ!! Btw, "Brian" is actually his middle name - his first name is Jonathan. Which is why he's listed as Jonathan (Brian) Ruiz in my screenshot. He owns several businesses in the Dallas area, so everyone please BE CAREFUL OF THIS GUY!!
