They really advertise for a much better experience than what is given in reality, including "on-Site and Transportation to and from the venue," which means that if equipment breaks down (and it did) that you are left waiting to pile onto a bus whenever they can get one to your guests. Walking into the space, all I could see was an awful slab floor. It looked as if they were still in renovation stage or something. Just awful. Your guests get one little coat rack that looks as if they bought it online, and it's in a back hallway as you make your way to the restrooms. It's a cramped space and I wonder why this place was so poorly built, but then I remembered what I call the 'benefactor factor,' and it became more and more clear. The only way that this place becomes "gorgeous," as it's been referred to in other posts, is if you spend a ton of money with a trained event professional (outside and separate cost, of course) to beautify it. Otherwise, you have a small room with a slab floor to work with. The only redeeming quality of the place is the outside deck.

My husband and I were looking for a beautiful venue with historic charm, & we were blessed to find this gem so close to home! Spending the morning at Venue3Two as we prepared for the ceremony was such a peaceful experience! As I got my hair & makeup done, as we got dressed, as we did our first look, as we took pictures with the bridal party, I was just amazed by the romantic elegance found in every corner & every room of the 1920s mansion! Then, after we returned from the ceremony at my church, one of my favorite moments of the day was bustling my dress in the bridal suite on the second floor & looking out the window to the backyard where I saw guests relaxing on the terrace & enjoying cornhole & giant jenga (outdoor games the venue provided). During the cocktail hour and reception, I loved being able to enjoy drinks in the great room as well as the charcuterie table in the dining room, being able to feel the sunshine through the large windows as we dined in the conservatory, & being able to find delicious desserts in the kitchen. Another one of my favorite parts of the venue was the fireplace in the great room where we displayed the family wedding photos on top of the mantle. Every time I walked past it, I found guests & other vendors taking a look at the photos which made me smile! We also had our engagement photos displayed on the giant TV in the conservatory which people loved to look at throughout the cocktail hour & reception! In the evening, the terrace was magical with its outdoor lights providing a perfect romantic setting for the rest of the night. I can't believe how smoothly everything ran throughout the day, and that is because of the incredible service provided by the Venue3Two team! They were very professional & attentive, and my venue coordinator, Stochia McDaniel, was so incredibly helpful as we discussed & planned the big day for several months! There's plenty of things to do for the kids, they recently added a corn pit, a game area, and smaller playground right behind the corn pit. They did have a huge play area right when you walked in and they took it out this year, our kids were bummed but we noticed parts of the playground were moved to different areas. We went the first week of October and there were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. You can either do pick them in the patch yourself or they do have some lined up in the front. They also have additional fall decor you can purchase as well.

Walking in, there's bar seating, booth seating, high top table, coffee table seating, and bench style seating where you can sit yourself. The mussels come in a serving of 6 or 12 and next time I would definitely order 12 right off the bat because we ended up ordering another round LOL. The sauce was so good I could drink it. The cucumbers were a nice refreshment/ palate cleanser from all that garlicky, buttery goodness. Just writing this review makes me want more right now! The food was amazing: we had plenty and even had a few meals to take home. The night of the wedding, Dimitri sought us out continually to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything. There are always so many things that can go wrong during a wedding but fortunately for us, it was a picture perfect night. I would highly recommend this venue and wish we had another wedding to plan so that we could return.

Upon ordering, I first requested a menu item, which would be a 10 oz. Steak Entre... I was promptly informed that they had no 10 oz. steaks left.... So... I changed my order to be an 8 oz. steak... about 5 minutes later, the waitress came back and told me "I'm sorry, we are all out of steaks... would you like something else?"... I asked the waitress if there was a possibility since they didnt have what I wanted (Steak)... Could I get a slight discount on the all you can eat meal which was crab and shrimp. The answer was "We cant do that"... Not "Let me get the manager" but..."We cant do that". So, as irritated as I was, I waited a bit, and I then ordered the SAME MEAL as the rest of my family, which was a hot beef sandwich with redskin mashed potatoes and a salad. About 5 minutes goes by, and the waitress comes out and tells me "I'm sorry, the mashed potatoes arent ready, would you like something else?".... Now... I understand restaurants can run out of stuff... but when the 3rd thing was not available, I had to ask for a manager... When the "manager" came out, she looked at me and said "Is there a problem over here?" to which I replied "Yes" and described the situation... She then replied "OK, Well, I dont appreciate you yelling at my waitress".... Now.. up until now, I hadnt yelled, I was irritated yes, but I hadnt yelled. I told the lady to get me her boss... because I do NOT like being told that I am doing something that I didnt do. Her boss came up *about 6ft 7in, 280lbs, build like an NFL Linebacker* and said "Is there a problem here?" in his deepest voice, to which I replied just as I had to the first manager. In the end, he attempted to make the issue right, even offered to give me a discount on the all you could eat lobster and shrimp deal as I had originally requested, however I was too afraid that my meal would have spit in it by this time, and could not accpept it. He did pick up the entire family's meals, but I ended up leaving without eating due to it... I will not be going back to this restaurant. I do believe that this gentleman was trying to be intimidating... Those that know me, know I am not a man that becomes intimidated easily.
