Pretty much everyone in our party of many Berkeley foodies agreed last night when we sampled 2 pizzas at Little Hill Lounge's pizza pop up with Jason LaBue at the helm last night...next level!!! He had this little grill set out in the cold; appearances too humble to imagine we'd then get truly unique combinations with a crust that blew our minds. We also ordered the breakfast burrito with avocado and chorizo (added cost so it became $20). I really liked the chorizo, they grilled it so it was a tad crisp, and loved that it wasn't very salty. I got to try the Quesa Birria lumpia which was amazing. I want those all the time now. I also tried the shrimp which had a good shrimpy flavor and the wrap was very crispy, but the inside was a little too wet for me. I'm weird on textures. They also had a beef and veggie I wish I would have tried.
