Food is so friggin good! Halal Chicken is the shizznit. Great guys that own and work the truck in the heat or rain. They never disappoint with their homemade pickles either. In short .... I am addicted to their food.

I've been going to the Loaded Chicken in Vallejo at 1601 Springs Rd, and it never disappoints! They're open every day from 12:30 PM to 8 PM. The food is delicious--definitely try the chicken tacos, they're amazing!

We went during Vallejo restaurant week and were surprised by the massive portions for the price! We got the combo and the salad. The chicken was cooked and seasoned/battered perfectly. Service was quick! It's in a not so good parking area but other than that would highly recommend!

Luis....are you in there? Oh Luis!!

This sandwich was The Bomb! It blew my mind and my taste buds which were delighted with the combination of super crispy, yet tender and moist chicken on a fresh soft bun, smothered with their homemade coleslaw and slices of crunchy pickles tucked in beside it ! The Chipotle Aioli was perfect for someone like me with a mild palette that enjoys a spicy zing! How could I possibly have been driving by this big red food truck for 3 years and never stopped? All that perfectly seasoned moist chicken on a soft roll that I completely missed! This is my new Go To Craving! I had to go back the very next day to get another one for my husband! It was a very hot day so at the last minute I ordered the Fresh Strawberry Soda, and it was so refreshing, and not too sweet! Perfect for a scorching day! Believe me when I tell you that I would have gone back on the third day, but the truck was closed up! I guess you could say I'm obsessed because I drove by on the fourth and fifth day and the food truck was gone! Oh No Mr. Bill!! Which way did it go??? When will Luis and his Fully Loaded Chicken truck be back down the street from me? I will continue my quest and drive by the corner Tire shop parking lot at Vervais in Vallejo on Springs Road, until I can quench my desire again! Come back Fully Loaded! Come back!!

    Loaded Fries

I came here today during the break in the rain. There was no wait and easy parking. It was $12 for the loaded fries. Cashier told me it would be ready in 5 minutes and it was. I drove home to eat, maybe about 15 minutes later from pickup and it was still hot. The biggest thing for me with loaded fries is them getting soggy. Guess what? They weren't at all even with the toppings and sauce. The fries were crispy even halfway through eating. I was very happy with the amount of chicken that was ontop as well. It wasn't just crumbs or old chicken. It was juicy crunchy and fresh. And don't forget to eat your veggies. The pickled cucumbers were bomb and added a little texture. Definitely will be coming back to try other meals.

Chicken strips plain, with house sauce on the side and fries

I'd always notice a lot of customers would order through door dash for this chicken spot in vallejo and I finally decided to give it a try. I ordered a salad and my boyfriend got the chicken strips plain. They have sauces you can have them dip the chicken in like barbecue, habanero, lemon pepper, Buffalo, and their house sauce. I'm giving this spot a 4/5 because I thought the salad was very good, the chicken which is what they're known for WAS tasty, but I wish it was in a better location because they DO get busy and it's a struggle to park. I also felt the plates were plated a little messy. The plain strips weren't anything special, but I would like to try them with lemon pepper next time. The fries were also a small portion. I think their house sauce is tasty, but again nothing too special. I definitely want to come back to try their loaded wrap, that sounds really good! So I'll be coming back to try more items from their menu. I love that they're a small business so I'm happy to support this local spot!

This truck is new in the area, it's so good. I had fries with fried chicken and the works on top. 12.00 and two people could easily share. So good!!!

Food is better than everyone else Solano County. Their chicken sandwich blows doors on 5 star and chicken guy sandwiches.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

One thing that caught me off guard is that there are no prices posted anywhere. They simply tell you your total at the end, and in my experience, the prices are higher than I expected. To help others, here's what I was charged: Aguas frescas (Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, Jamaica): $7 each Burrito: $18 Mulita: $9 each Torta: $13 Huarache: $16 The food itself is very good, especially when they're not busy. When it's slower, the portions are generous and everything seems to be made with more care. During the rush, though, I've noticed the portions get smaller and the food feels a little rushed, which is disappointing considering the prices. One of my favorite things is the salsa bar. They have a great variety of salsas and toppings, including cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and other fresh additions, and you can help yourself. They also had four different aguas frescas available when I visited: Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, and Jamaica, which was a nice selection. I do think the customer service could be improved. A little more friendliness and better communication, especially about pricing, would make a big difference. Overall, the food is tasty and they offer a great selection, but I'd really like to see prices posted and more consistency with portions, especially during busy hours. Hopefully this review helps anyone wondering what to expect before ordering.

La Joya Taco Truck has been on my radar for years. I finally tried it for the first time last year,…read moreand since then it has become one of my go-to taco trucks in Vallejo. The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I waited so long that most of the places is closed up. Luckily, this place was open late which is great. Came here and ordered a few tacos. Ordering was easy and the folks were chill and friendly. The prices were great as well. Ate my tacos in the car and headed back to the hotel I was staying at.
