The food is always awesome, best eggs and hash browns anywhere. Waitstaff treat you like family. Very attentive, you never have an empty coffee cup. To top it off the prices are very reasonable. This is a small restaurant on Rt. 138 in Raynham, shaped like a milk bottle! Open for breakfast and lunch. I believe it's family owned and operated. Consistently good breakfasts. Eggs are done perfectly, pancakes are very good, bacon is cooked right. It seems that the same waitstaff is there every day, and they know their menu. I wish they would add hash browns to the menu, as I don't eat home fries; but I never leave hungry. Otherwise, I enjoy eating breakfast there and will be back! read more

Went here a couple weeks ago on a whim. I used to go with my grandmother when I was a child but haven't been back in upwards of about 25 yrs. With that said as we walked in there was a sign on the door that said they were short staffed so be patient. I was a little nervous of what that was gonna mean. When I tell you these chick's busted their butts!! You would NEVER have known they were short staffed! The servers and kitchen crew were ON POINT. My coffee was never low and our food came out in a timely manner and soooooo good! I will Def be back! read more

March 4th 2018- The milk bottle is extremely small. The wait area is basically the entrance of the restaurant. Walked in felt very awkward. Stood in the doorway for 45 seconds no one said a word. Waitresses continually walked by didn't acknowledge me and my husband. Finally someone said we're cleaning off your table. 4 Stars- My husband ordered the Famous Bottle Special. He asked for soft scrambled eggs with extra cheese. Eggs - they were scrambled hard but surprisingly good. Links- He likes his fried brown with a little char (not burnt). They could have been cooked longer but the taste was good. Homefries- They were the star of the show seasoned well mmmmm good. He didn't eat the pancakes. I tried them and thought they were good. 3 Stars- I ordered Eggs & Things Two Eggs with cheese, Bacon and a Grilled English Muffin (slight upcharge) and a side of Sausage. Homefries - flavorful enjoyed every bite. Bacon- Crispy and delicious. Eggs- Cooked too hard. Sausage- Juicy and tasty. Grilled Muffin. Very hard overly grilled. read more

Potatoes were burnt, like grill-scrapings , and the vents above our heads were leaking all over our table and another table near us . The server just said " oh that's just the condensation from the AC" , which we figured, but that doesn't make it better ! I don't want dirty condensation dripping in my food! The place is awash in floury pancakes, runny eggs, charry bacon and gritty coffee. All being consumed by the progenitors of little leaguers and preteens in a roughly 3:1 ratio. An OK place if you have a lot of guests in town and don't have the materials or will on hand to make your own food in the morning. The inside doesn't look like much, but I figured the food had to be pretty good. How badly can you mess up breakfast food? Well...pretty bad. We stood in the entryway for 5 minutes without any employee acknowledging us. No greeting, no smile, no eye contact, no "it will just be a few minutes," nothing. Plenty walked right by us. It's almost like they have been told not to greet the customers? When there was finally an open table, the waitress just wiped it down and said in our direction, "table's clear." As for the food...it's sad when the only food that tastes as expected is the dry toast. The omelet was falling apart, didn't taste cooked, and yet somehow tasted rubbery and overdone. The pancakes were dry and gritty. It was all just bad. Saving grace was that it was cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for. read more

Omelets were excellent! Fully loaded with the veggies and meat we asked for. Hash browns were excellent too! Ate outside, ordered at the window so no need to even go inside if you choose not too. Outside of building and seating area just needs a little work. There's a tarp on the building so maybe they are working on it. Overall though, we will definitely be back! read more

I had lunch here recently with my Grandfather. We arrived at the location closer to closing time that I would normally have liked, but the staff was just as welcoming as they would have been at opening. The service was attentive, quick, and refreshing. The food was made quickly, and the portions were impressive. My sandwich was rather delicious, stuffed full of tasty ham, and the fries were unbeatable. I hear they serve a mean breakfast and I plan to make it out there for it one of these days, so stay tuned! Oh, and if you are interested in classic cars, they often have quite a few of them in the lot. Cordon Bleu cooking? No. A great cheap breakfast that is hot and fast and CHEAP? Yes. Never done takeout - why anyone would order takeout from the Bottle astounds me. Never done the ice cream. The ice cream stand is always busy during the summer so it must be ok. Only thing we get is the awesome breakfasts on our way out of Cape Cod at the end of the trip. It's a family tradition, and eating at the "milk bottle" is part of the trip. As are the pictures afterward to chart how much they have grown from the summer before. The sign on the wall says "Beware of the Waitress" but don't believe it. They are all nice. Not "fake nice" like in a chain, but competent, they keep up with the coffee and beverages, and are down to earth real people. It's consistently busy, and the tables are always bussed regularly and turnover is pretty quick. It's a place to get in, get some decent food, and move on with your life. Bonus? Clean bathrooms. Nothing fancy, it's just a little room with a toilet and a sink but I've never seen it NOT clean. And I'm a nurse, so I am picky about bathrooms. read more

Ive come here for years and all I will eat here is breakfast! First off, the design of the building is better than a square building anyday! The breakfast has been delicious, and is especially a treat when I the previous night was full of drinking. 2 people can easly to served and have a full breakfast with just a $20 including the tip. The breakfast sandwiches and home fries are my personal fav. The sandwiches are greasy and filling and the homefries are delicious. If I am eating pancakes, an omlette or a sandwich, I will always get the homefries! Breakfast staff is the usual, since I come during breakfast, its always hectic and sometimes the wait is long. I wouldnt suggest for large groups since most of the tables are only going to fit 4 and 6 would be a stretch. Overall delicious and Im sure in the next month I'll be bringing my $20 bill ready to eat! read more

This place is pretty good if you want a big breakfast cheap. Pancakes are the only thing not great on the menu. It's seat yourself. Menu is small. It's usually very noisy with all the people chattering. Great for kids. Not a good place for a date. They are only open until two. CASH ONLY. ATM takes a fee. Food is hot and pretty good. Five stars in my book!!! I have been here twice and I had a great breakfast everything was cooked to perfection. Love the home fries and coffee. The service is the best around!!! I had lunch recently with my mother and I ordered the special. salisbury steak w/gravy, real mashed potato and carrots. The portion was so big I could only eat 1/3 of my meal and took the rest home. The steak was so moist and yummy and you can't beat the price. I recommend it all the time now. read more

The food has always been mediocre here. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. Just your average food that anyone could prepare for themselves at home. If it weren't for the awful service I would have given them three stars for their food. The only real highlight of this place is the building, and that's just "cool" from the outside. When you enter the building you can't even tell you are in the milk bottle. The room is small, outdated, and could definitely use a facelift. I've eaten here many times, and the the service is always bad, but this last visit was the worst (& it was for take-out, how do you screw that up?! lol). The staff always seems to have an attitude, but my last visit was the worst!!! I ordered one breakfast to-go: Scrambled eggs with cheese, toast and home-fries. When I got home and opened the box I was completely grossed out. A fork, knife, napkin, 5 ketchup packets, and paper salt and pepper packets were thrown directly on top of my food. My food was blended in and mixed around with all of this dirty, hand touched, exposed to the world for who knows how long, goodness. Hungry? I think not. So, I called. I honestly hate complaining, but cummmon. When I explained what happened to the girl that answered she was clearly mad, and said "honestly, I don't see what the big deal is, I would eat it", and proceeded to tell me that "she didn't have time to argue with me", and then told me to "screw off". REALLY!? I will never come back here again. Gross experience, and and more gross service. Mel's diner is across the street. Save your self some aggravation and eat there instead. read more
