Groovy coffee shop along Main Street in Bowling Green that served Blanchard's coffee along with other beverages. This open, spacious café had a neat industrial atmosphere but also had some comfy seating and a couple outdoor bistro tables. It was streamlined and clean, even the facilities. My niece grabbed a coffee drink and liked it! We will be back next time we pass through!!

I love the mix house. They are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is everything a small town coffee shop should be!

    Really cute! Love Blanchard's.

Good white mocha. Has Blanchard's coffee. Not too many spaces to sit, but not too many people taking up space either. Country chic. Offers Some baked goods and fruit (muffins, quick breads, bananas). A tiny outdoor table for your dog to wait for you. A treat to find in Bowling Green.

We stopped by The Mix House while passing through Bowling Green and I got an iced decaf Americano. The coffee was delicious, the space is super clean and modern, and the staff was really nice. Definitely recommend.

This is truly an adorable and charming little coffee shop! Well worth a stop in the sleepy town of Bowling Green. We'd passed by a bunch of times and finally decided to make a trip down from Fredericksburg. First thought: the interior is super inviting, trendy, and cute! Oh my God.. SO worth it! A friend of mine ordered a fantastic mocha while I got an amazing iced latte. The latte wasn't overpowered with milk and the flavor of the espresso really stood out. The girls inside were sweet and friendly, plus super patient with us- lol! We will definitely be coming back again! Hopefully, we'll get the super soft t-shirts next time as well!

The Mix House is the coolest coffee house I've been to and I don't even like coffee. The atmosphere here is very modern, especially in this Mayberry-feeling town. This was my first time visiting Bowling Green and am so glad that I did. The staff at this joint were super friendly and helpful. They even responded very nicely to my sister's bougie question about matcha. Lol! I ordered a Dr. B and it was amazing!! It was a cold blended beverage that had banana, chocolate, coconut, and espresso or cold brew (can't remember) but it was AMAZING!!! Honestly, as a non coffee drinker, I couldn't even taste but a hint of the coffee and that was a plus in my book. This place is also super welcoming to everyone of all walks of life....they literally have pictures and little welcoming signs all around. Love this place and wish I could live in this quaint little town so I could visit this coffee shop everyday!!!

I Wanted to try a new coffee shop outside of my usual. The Mix House is an inviting place with farm house aesthetics. I got an Iced Vanilla Latte with Soy, and the taste was phenomenal. The coffee and vanilla blend was well proportioned and I'll definitely come back to try other drinks.

Great specialty coffees equal to Starbucks in price and quality. And you are supporting a small town business each time.

A welcoming sign invites you inside a peaceful nook where tea and conversation flow in equal measure. This cottage-style tearoom is designed with sage and rose floral chintz curtains, white laced tablecloths and parasols suspended from the ceiling for a whimsical flair. Owner, Terrie, wanted her tearoom to be appealing but not too frilly. She nailed it. Offering old-world hospitality, her tearoom is casual and cozy. She also is a force of nature when it comes to supporting the community and local artists, crafters, writers, and tea lovers! Depending on your appetite, the tea menu provides plenty of options from a "Spot of Tea", a pot of tea, two scones and fruit to the "Dilly-Dally Tea" which includes two pots of tea, four scones both savory and sweet, tea sandwiches, fruit, cheese, crudités, pastries and petite desserts. With the set menu changing monthly, you may be served such delightful tea sandwiches as cherry-walnut cream cheese, lavender chicken salad, avocado egg salad, carrot raisin sweet sandwich, tuna baby-pea crostini and the classic cucumber and cream cheese. The savory scones may include spring onion and cheddar while the sweet selection may be a peach cobbler scone. If you are lucky, you may come in time for the strawberry cupcakes and the homemade chocolate fudge. We enjoyed every morsel and the service was superb! Whatever treats are on the menu, it's always appetizing! Tea drinkers won't be overwhelmed with an extensive tea menu. Terrie thoughtfully offers a selection of about fifteen choices ranging from classic teas like Earl Grey and English Breakfast to green teas, herbal and fruit teas, oolong teas and chai teas. There's a tea for every taste! It's Earl Grey for me! After tea, be sure to enjoy shopping in Cuppa Cheer's corner gift shop. Filled with not only tea caddies, teacups, teapots and books, this shop is also brimming with hand-crafted items such as greeting cards, tea cozies, tea coasters, jewelry, wreaths and more. You may even find an elegant hat that suits your fancy. Be sure to browse around the tearoom dotted with tasteful tea décor and take a gander at the tea chandelier and the teacup quilt both hanging in the craft room. My Cuppa Cheer runneth over!

After looking for someplace close we found cafe54. SUPER close to campus. My eggs were ok. The corned beef hash was the canned kind just like I like it, because some stuff you can make fresh and fancy up but that preservative, war time taste just hits and you know I'm right. I had coffee that would put hair on your chest. and an Arnold palmer that was kind of watery. Oddly enough I found those traits acceptable. My son had french toast. This is only the 3rd time he's had it (by choice) and he really enjoyed it. While brunch/lunch was a 3.5 in my book it was a 5 for him There is no tap to pay but they do take the usual cash and card. So just don't forget your cards in your pants pockets and you'll be ok. The place was bright and airy with outdoor seating and the service was just ok. Decent place. You should go in a try it out.

I've eaten here twice now the first time I said, I would never go back, but I wanted to give it a second chance. This place basically does breakfast and if you only do one thing, you should be great and let's face it. Breakfast is one of the easiest things to make and do well but this place misses the mark on every level. First impressions walking in the door, the place is freezing cold even the waitresses all have goosebumps and who wants to sit in a refrigerator and be uncomfortable while you're eating? We walked in the door to a nearly empty restaurant with these big, beautiful sunny windows, but they sat in a dark corner while the booths in the windows were all empty. Business 101 people attract people put them in the windows so that they can have use and people can see that the business has customers!!!! maybe they didn't wanna sit us next to the windows because they were covered with greasy fingerprints that looked like they had been there since the last weekend and hadn't been cleaned. The glass was gross. The menu has all the standard fair that you would expect from a regular breakfast restaurant.... in Kansas. all very American. Nothing stands out as being gourmet or unique in a market where there's a lot of money and a lot of transplants who are used to better stuff than ordinary Americana breakfast food. The prices are a little high, but it's 2026. Everything's high. We order our food. I got scrambled eggs and they were hard as rubber because they were overcooked.! How do you own a breakfast restaurant and you can't cook scrambled eggs? I had the eggs returned and they did a decent enough job on the next batch but generally speaking the food was just barely OK. I got orange juice and it came in a giant glass and it was clearly from concentrate. Maybe that works in Iowa but at a specialty restaurant in a fashionable town I want fresh squeeze orange juice. I don't need 10 gallons of it. I would rather have a little juice glass full of fresh orange juice than a gallon of concentrated crap. I just don't think these people understand their clientele and they don't do anything special like blueberries for your pancakes.... There's so many things you can do with breakfast and they just did the bare minimum. It's so disappointing to have the restaurant with the absolute best geography in our community barely trying to make decent food or make customers comfortable in a clean environment. I was charitable when I gave them two stars because I actually felt bad. I want them to succeed, but they really need to rethink what they're doing and try a lot harder.
