My boyfriend and I pass by this place and we were curious as to what it was.We finally stopped by, a little confused as it's advertised as a bakery (the baked goods looked like they were store bought) and upon ordering the cashier seemed like she didn't care, no warmth. My boyfriend ordered two tacos, two coffees and a muffin. She didn't charge us for the muffin (Which seemed like they were the large muffin you get from Costco anyway) so we asked for it again. There were three options, but she only offered two after I let her know I wanted the option she didn't offer. The way the coffee condiment section is set up on an old stove ( which I thought was charming ) but you have to walk to the fridge to grab the gallon of milk (which is far from the condiment bar) a little inconvenient... Overall we were both confused as to if it was a bakery seeing that some of these items do not seem like they're made in house, nor do you see baked goods being made since it's an open kitchen. Best breakfast taco in town, imo. Simple, fluffy eggs, potatoes, good quality breakfast meat and what makes it the best in town is the tortilla and hot sauce! I first had them right before Covid when I lived in OC. Now I drive from Garland to get them. Clean little dining area with friendly counter service. Giving this place 2 stars instead of one because the salsa is on point and the prices weren't ridiculous. But without the salsa to add to your taco it was pretty bland by itself. Also if you add cheese it's just a slice of Kraft cheese laid on top. The potatoes had little to no flavor, same with the bacon, and same with the refried beans, they just tasted like they were poured out of a can with no seasoning. All the flavor comes from the salsa, and just as a warning it's pretty spicy, not like mouth on fire though. Unfortunately even the flour tortillas were store bought not home made. You walk in and there's a few tables set up and a counter all the way to the right where you place your order. There's a sign in the wall with what's available and there's a glass display case with a few pastries, was hoping for some that were made in house but I spotted a strawberry cream cheese muffin on display that is sold at Sam's Club. I ordered a coffee and saw there was a self serve station with sugar and powder creamer so I just assumed that I was supposed to get my own since no one else told me anything otherwise. Same delicious tacos. New location and steady hours. Old location is bakery only. The tacos are simple and consistent. Believe me, I go 2-3 times a week and they never disappoint... Egg, bacon and cheese is my regular. The special lady friend goes the potato route, but that's because she's pescatarian and denies herself of that perfectly fried piece of swine. I love this small bakery. I've been here twice now and both times I got the coffee and tacos. I've tried the sausage and egg and chorizo and egg tacos so far and they've both been splendid. They're big sized, and come stuffed with fillings. For $2 each, two tacos make for a filling breakfast.
