Hello, am interested in knowing your price for grooming a female shorthair Chihuahua cross, she's 6.5 months and 13lbs, very sweet and doesn't bark. Needs are a bath, nails trimmed, inner ears cleaned and any other care needed. June 14th if possible?

Hi we are currently booked until July right now. It would be $55

Unfortunately there was a mixup and she scheduled me for a day when they are closed, she apologized profusely and gave me a discount on the grooming service! Very attentive and genuinely wanted to make up for her mistake. Shampoochies did a great job grooming my little pup, she generally doesn't like being groomed so I appreciate that they gave her special attention. They also don't force the dogs to be blow dried if they don't like to be, and will wait for them to air dry if needed. Lastly, when we got home she had these adorable little bows on. :) Give them a try if you're looking for a groomer!

Strangers regularly comment on how wonderful his coat feels and how good he smells. This is even 3 days after he's been groomed and has been playing hard for those days. When I wanted to bring him weekly, they said he didn't need it - so no false up-selling which I appreciate. They now have a day play offering with great prices. While I've transition to more work from home, so he doesn't need to go to day play as often, I wouldn't hesitate to send him there if he needed to burn off some extra energy or needed the interaction of other dogs. In short we both love the staff and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer.

I have to agree with U.W review on Sept 20, 2025…read more My Standard Poodle has been going to Allure for at least 4 years, he will be six in June. Jana has done a wonderful job technically but her defensive attitude when you bring a concern is horrible. She needs client communication 101 help. Her new groomer has done a great job but in April 2025 and on Jan 30, 2026, Shadow has left with an infection his sheath of penis was infected both time and noticed the next day after left. In April I brought it to the groomer attention. Jana was not there. The groomer response was we clean out grooming tool per each dog. Not taking accountability at all. After his grooming on 1/30/2026 -two days later I noticed my dogs sheath was irritated. In both situation I provided photos. Jana responded via text very defensive, negative, chastising me for allowing him to continuously lick (which I do not do at all, I stopped my boy immediately when I see him do that.). She started saying he was matted in that sanitary area and t6ha he had discharged while grooming and this was the second time (Jana did not make me aware of it the first time). The interesting part was when I picked asked him and asked (as I always have) how he was the response from Jana and the other groomer was he was fine and we talked a bit and set up the next appointment of 3/17/2026. Not one time was I told about his matting, or discharge or anything until I brought the second concern (with photos) of the irritated penis. Jana went on me in her text message response. I am not making this up . I realized then that accountability is not business strong suit. I even told her things happen, but I was as getting concern this was the second time. Needless to say, I cancelled my future appointment. Allure has great groomer with good technical skills but Jana's attitude, her defensive responses and the horrible client communication is "matted" and needs "grooming"---,no soft skills at all.

I have been taking my three Maltese to this groomer for more than 20 years. For two decades, my…read moredogs were always beautifully groomed and never once shaved down. That all changed when Janna took over as owner/manager and brought in a new groomer last year, Lateesha. Since then, every visit has been a nightmare. Lateesha shaves my dog down every single time with the excuse that he is "matted." EVERY SINGLE TIME! Lies. In over 20 years, this never once happened with the previous groomer. It is pure laziness and shows a lack of skill. She even cut the length of my dog's tail, which was completely unnecessary and cruel. It has never grown back! On my last visit, I tried to avoid Lateesha and asked for a different groomer. They gave me Amanda, but it was clear Lateesha had already said something to her. Amanda immediately claimed my dog was "matted" and then used a FLEA COMB...yes, a flea comb...to try to "prove" it. She started raking at the hair from the root, which is obviously impossible and completely inappropriate. Lateesha was in the background wearing earbuds but listening to the entire encounter and shaking her head as if I was trouble. That was the final straw. I gathered my dog and told her I would not be returning, but I would like to hear from the owner. Janna, the owner, is no better. She is more concerned with showing dogs and being away than running this business or making sure clients' dogs are properly groomed. I asked that she call me about what happened, and of course she never did. No follow up, no apology, no accountability. This place has gone from a trusted groomer to a disgrace. Janna is absent and careless, Lateesha is lazy and unskilled, and Amanda followed right in line with their excuses. After DECADES of loyalty, I will never bring my dogs back. If you value your pets, stay far away from Janna and her team. Note: I haven't heard from Janna, but I'm sure her trademark defensive rebuttal (complete with attitude and accusations of matting, as in past reviews) will appear in record time.

As is standard at boarding facilities, they require a temperament ($25) visit to observe the dog before boarding, but this includes the day of daycare. When I called to schedule, the person I spoke with was helpful and informative. We've only left Holland here once so far for about 5 nights (so have been by 4 times: dropping off and picking up each for the temperament visit and boarding). The 24-hour boarding rate is $30, which is a pretty good price for what you get...the pups don't stay in crates the whole time, they've got space to roam around and play and hang out with other pup friends. They separate the dogs by size as needed, which is comforting since although Holland can hang with the big dogs (and thinks she's a big dog), she's only 10 lbs. We haven't taken advantage of any of the grooming available, but they offer the basics (bath, nails, etc) for decent prices. They also don't charge extra to provide medicine, something we've had to deal with at some boarding places. We haven't met the owner, but the owner's father has been in 2/4 times we've visited and he's very friendly and really gets to know your pet. The staff also love pets and remember their personalities from what I can tell. This is the sort of place that could charge $15-25 more per day of boarding if they were closer to the city, but since they're in Lilburn, you get a good bang for your buck. This is another great local business and we were happy to find them after our recent move!

Funny bones didn't call us or say anything about it to us. The girl at the front desk said she was with him just about the whole week but still didn't know what happened. She ended up calling the owners father Kenny and we spoke with him. Sent pictures of the injuries and he still couldn't tell us. Kenny was rather surprised when we told him we need to take him to the vet. Which was very concerning since this is a place that should be caring for your dogs. He showed no concern about the issue and repeatedly stated "He had a good morning" (He was there for 7 days) and was very unapologetic. Upon taking him to the vet, thankfully it was nothing too harmful but it was a major hotspot. That should not have gone unnoticed especially since it was in plain sight. After politely reporting to Kenny what the issue was and we were very dissatisfied with the care they showed for our dog, Kenny responded with "We are glad your dog is fine." (I am not stating my dog's name). No apology for it going unnoticed, or no compensation. Won't be back.

Within 2 days, we were back at the clinic because it filled right back up. The Veterinarian never came in to speak with my wife. The vet tech proceeded to tell my wife that the next step would be to sedate the cat and told my wife that they would be placing tubes and stitches in his ear. Because the cat ate earlier, we were told we would have to bring him back another day. We brought him back on Saturday, and they took him from us and told us he would be ready for pick-up later in the day. When we picked him up, he was bandaged and had a cone around his neck. Within a day or two, he had the bandage off his ear and there were no drain tubes or stitches. We called the clinic, and they stated that he was sedated, ear lanced, and steroid injected and this was the treatment plan my wife signed off on. 1) When the vet tech stated they would be putting him under anesthesia, my wife asked if they were putting drain tubes and stitches and the vet tech said yes. 2) We were told that my wife signed off on his treatment plan and that she was not told about tubing and stitched and yet we were sent a copy of the treatment plan, NO signatures, NO initials..Nothing. 3) First time we took him, no anesthesia, nothing..they drained the fluid in his ear with needle. Second time he went in because the ear filled back up, they told us that the sedated him because the had to lance the ear, and yet the treatment plan they sent that the claimed my wife signed off on states that they again drained with a needle. Why the sedation again? they did not have to sedate the first time when they drained with a needle.
