My pulmonary specialist, Dr. Shah referred me to this company for a CPAP machine. I was told this company would contact me within the next "few" days. After waiting a week & a half and not hearing from them I called the office to inquiry. Maria is the lady who answers the phone. I asked when I'd be able to obtain the CPAP machine my doctor order and my insurance company approved over a week ago. Maria said that my order was placed on hold. But, offered no details as to why. She said that Angela Gonzalez, the "office manager" (LOL) was the only one who could help me. I asked to speak to her. I was told she was "in a meeting". I asked for her e-mail address so I could e-mail her and get the communication started. Maria gave me two wrong spellings of Angela's last name. Which is part of her e-mail address. So my two e-mails were returned to me as "undeliverable". Each time I called a Maria back trying to get the proper information. Maria is a nasty, rude, LIAR. It was like pulling teeth to get a simple e-mail address out of her. After the third phone call I asked for her area managers name and phone number. Maria said that she had no idea who that was or if there was even one. So, I asked for the corporate office phone number. Maria in her snotty, unhelpful voice and attitude said I should look it up online! So, that's what I did! I continued to send Angela Gonzalez e-mails throughout the day. Of course no reply was ever made. I put an inquiry in on the corporate website and called a different Matrix Medical office to find out who the area manager was and get her phone e-mail or phone number. The information was provided to me by the lady who answered the phone. So, I e-mailed her and waited for her reply. She promptly replied and said she would help me and "take care" of the way/situation that brought me to her. Her name is Debra and she is quite excellent. The very next day she e-mailed me and told me that I could call the office and get my training/orientation set up for my CPAP machine. I was OVER the moon happy! Before I could make that call my phone rang and it was Casey the trainer calling to get me set up for training/orientation. I set my appt. for the next evening (Friday) at 5pm. I arrived at the office at 4:50 pm and was let in the building by "Maria". The nasty, rude receptionist. I introduced myself to Maria and thanked her for opening the door (the front door was locked). Not one word did she say to me. No nice to meet you, I'm sorry about the other day, NOTHING. But, she did sit at her desk and complain that it was raining out. Leaving the phone unanswered to gossip about the new cleaning crew with other staff members. Outrageous! I sat in the waiting room and just observed. Then I heard someone yell out of the back "Angela, I'm leaving, have a nice weekend". Guess who appears out of an office 20 feet from me? ANGELA GONZALEZ the "office manager". Gossiping herself about the new cleaning crew and there lack of service. I looked right at her and smiled. NOT ONE WORD did she say to me. Nothing, she didn't even acknowledge me. NOW RUDE! After all she put me through for two days... nothing?!? No "I'm sorry" absolutely nothing. As I was walking back to the training room again she walked right past me. She didn't even look at me. She is an absolute DISGRACE to not only herself with her low level behavior but to Matrix Medical as well. This "women" is who they have employed to be the "office manager"? She was even dressed unprofessionally. Jeans and a T-Shirt with flip flops. I'd think that as a "office manager" you'd be dressed professionally. You would want to exemplify an example of professionalism to your staff and the customers coming in and out of the office all day. I guess these are all the reasons the reviews are so bad for Adapt Health /Matrix Medical. Personally I'm writing up my story in detail and sending it to the office manager of my doctors office so they are aware of what and to whom they are referring their patients too! If you are reading this and thinking of referring to this company- STOP! Please consider the lack of customer service, rudeness and unprofessionalism that not only I experienced but the countless other people who have also posted negative reviews online about this office. It's rotten from the top at the Drane Field Road office. If you are a potential employer, perhaps in the future reading this for ANGELA GONZALEZ "office Manager"- PLEASE do not hire this women! I kept a diary of all of my issues with them, but the biggest one was when they sent my van out to be fixed while I was on a cruise and never asked my permission to do so. Then when I returned they expected me to pay the $785 it cost. When I refused they refused to give me back my keys. Even Braunability rates them towards the bottom of their preferred vendors although the owner of the Mobility Van Store in Lakeland (John) will tell you that Braunability loves them and that they are number one, not in Lakeland not in Florida but the entire United States!! What a joke. Seriously, go anywhere other than this company. I even ended up having to take them to small claims court. If I could give them a negative 5 review I would do it.

When I arrived home, going through the usual process would have taken weeks to get a new one. I cannot sleep effectively without it. Researching online, I learned about cpapmyway.com. I ordered a machine, and followed up with phone calls. Everyone was exceptionally professional, and I received my new machine literally the next day! And it's much better than my previous machine. I highly recommend it regardless of your circumstances. Although I paid out of pocket, by the time I would have paid the co-pays and deductibles, the cost would have been the same anyway.

2 JUNE 2023 Last…read moreSat. 10 June, my VA supplied, Harmer mobility scooter lift, attached to the rear of my SUV, and loaded with my scooter, suffered a catastrophic failure as I traversed s speed bump in a residential neighborhood near my home. My speed was low but the jar and downward force caused the platform holding the cart which was securely strapped on 4 corners, to fall straight to the pavement and slide about 2 feet. My wife Lolita, helped me load the platform into the back of my Honda SUV and she drove the car home while I followed with the scooter which operated properly on the 2 mile ride home. I phoned Mobility Americas voice mail on Sunday to apprise them of the situation. My message included the information that I needed the scooter for my Dr appointments at the VA on Tuesday the13th of June, TOMORROW. Brigitte from Mobility America returned my call Monday morning about 07:45 before their opening time. I explained my situation to her that would require me canceling my Dr appointments if my scooter was not available tomorrow. She agreed to look at the lift and determine if it was a warranty covered failure. Omar her chief mechanic inspected it and determined that it was a failure in operation and they contacted Harmer and worked out a trade that allowed Mobility America to immediately replace the lift and permit me to keep my valuable Dr appointments. I am so grateful to Brigitte and Omar at Mobility America and Harmer Lifts to make this replacement possible today, in just a few hours. Harmer Lifts supplied me with a brand new lift and new tie downs. I am very grateful for the efforts of everyone involved that has put me back in the saddle!!
