Maintenance requests were handled promptly every time, and when something was beyond fixing, she replaced it without making it a whole ordeal. That kind of follow-through is rare and it made such a difference in day-to-day life. The apartments are all newly renovated and a great size, especially for the price. Parking is included in the garage, and street parking in the area is easy enough that guests never had trouble finding a spot. Laundry is in the building and fairly priced, which is honestly more than you can say for a lot of places. 18 years is a long time to stay anywhere, and I genuinely think Rose is a big part of why I did. If you're looking for a place where the people running it actually do their jobs well and treat residents with respect, this is it.

Although I did not really encounter any problems when I lived here, the property manager, Sung, was very caring and responsive to all my needs. He goes above and beyond the average expectation of a landlord, and he's also just a really friendly and approachable person. Vincent and other maintenance is absolutely wonderful and it's the only time I've ever trusted anyone to go into my apartment without me being home. I've lived at so many high-rises and never felt safe letting any of the staff in my place unattended, I even feel that way at my new place! I never felt this at the Brockman and anyone who came into my unit did everything properly and with care. The landlord, Sabrina, is an absolute dream to have on your team. She's personable, she listens, she cares, and she will do what it takes to make you confident in your home. Her team member Alex, is so sweet and hard working. Both of them rock a smile daily, and are very easy to talk to. The building is clean, they keep the units up to date and working efficiently and effectively. I went from a 2 bedroom, to a 1 bedroom over the course of a handful of years. My partner and I at the time were the very first renters to secure a unit in the brand new built complex. It was a virtually perfect living experience for us, and then myself alone in the one bed unit. Better late than never, I HIGHLY recommend this complex as a hop-skip-jump away from Sunset Blvd and all Silver Lake and Echo Park have to offer. We forgot to tell mention that when we made our reservations. Pamela said that the vegetarian menu might work for me. The grandsons were restless. My husband was about to pass out. Pamela said she'd bring me a special order and If i didn't like her choices she'd keep trying. Everyone was served. Tea flowed. Non alcoholic champagne soothed us. Then .....Ta Da...the food was presented! I had a tier "special for me." I tenderly tried a beautiful beet triangle. It was amazing. In fact, every mouthful was amazing. Pamela brought me 4 more savory delights. As we packed up to leave. Pamela gave everyone pink flower pens and a large Pink Box full of treats to take home. I was treated like royalty by Pamela. My husband and I have lived in a half dozen apartments all around the country, but Kingsley was undoubtedly our best experience ever: so clean, peaceful, and QUIET. Anyone who's been thru this side of KTown knows these streets can get very noisy, but the windows did a great job of blocking out sounds. (Only recently had noisy neighbors move in, which stopped once we politely knocked to let them know.) Everyone here is friendly and it's a family environment. It's a very small place (only like 70 or 80 units), and it always felt so refreshing coming home to the natural, open air layout and the water sounds. I've also never felt more safe and secure in an apartment community than I did here. There were times I came home alone late at night or forgot to lock the door before bed and never panicked about it because nothing happened. We moved in right as they were switching management, and Paul is the BEST. We've never met a more kind, helpful and efficient apartment manager. (Once while getting ready to go to my own bday dinner, I accidentally locked myself out of our apartment with nothing but my phone and pajamas, and Paul very kindly came to my rescue even after-hours!) He kept the entire place up to the standard that was advertised to us in the tour. What you see there is truly what you get. The only way to level it up would be to maybe have a monthly calendar of neighbor social activities. Our hearts genuinely ache to leave, but we're even more thankful for this experience! This was the first place that really felt like home for us and was equally cherished by all the friends and family that would come over to visit. I hope this place stays as amazing as we know it to be!
