PLEASE READ if you're considering hiring a moving company: We hired a company called "MOVE CREW LLC" and it was by far the worst nightmare experience we have had with any company providing a service, not just for moving. This is the most unprofessional company and people we have ever encountered. There were so many things that went wrong but here are a few to highlight and to warn people before they get in business with them. DO NOT HIRE THEM! 1. PACKING (See pictures)- Dishes and cups were just thrown in boxes with no packing material. They also used the truck blankets to cover our dishes, cups, utensils because they didn't bring packing material and is so unsanitary because they use them for covering floors or the trucks. We actually provided them with the packing paper, tape, and scissors to half ass the packing that they did. They didn't even label any boxes so we have no idea where anything is until we unbox everything. We paid for a whole house moving and it even stated on the contract "packing ALL materials. They only packed 70% of our kitchen only and nothing else. We ended up having to go back to the house and fill our SUV multiple times to pack the rest of the house. 2. Their guys were under the influence and smelled like they had just did it in their car before they came into the house. One guy was wearing sunglasses even though it was raining and cloudy the day of the move. I imagine for a service job like a moving company, that should be completely unacceptable but the owner seemed fine with it. I didn't feel comfortable with random people coming into my home and moving our valuables while they're high. They also went through our pantry and ate our toddlers snacks and even decided to throw a couple bags of popcorn in the microwave which they ate halfway and just left the rest on the kitchen counters. 3. Wall and furniture damage (see pictures) they simply said "oh shit my bad" when we pointed it out. They didn't wrap our couch cushions or tables and they're all scratched up and stained from being thrown in the truck. We asked them to fix these things and they said they're too busy for it. It clearly stated on the contract "wrap all items with shrink wrap for maximum protection" LIES. 4. They brought their 10 year old kid on the job who just kept grabbing little things throughout the house and throwing it on the back of the truck. Probably a good idea to ask the customer if bringing your child to the job site is okay beforehand. 5. Appliance damage- they lost hardware for my fridge and washing machine. They also didn't connect the washing machine correctly so when we turned it on, it flooded our laundry room. We asked them to fix it but no one reached out because they said they're too busy. I'm still looking for my desk hardware which they disassembled. 6. Moving items to where they go- I imagine part of a moving job is putting things where they go. These guys didnt do it but when we asked them to put heavy stuff or boxes to where they go, they gave us an attitude for it. We kind of got scared to ask them to move stuff towards the end because they just kept giving us dirty looks and attitude for doing their job we paid for. 7. Terrible customer service- I have tried to reach out to the owner, George Williams many times and he has ignored my calls and texts. I finally get in contact with him today. He was extremely rude and told me "I have other customers besides you". He then texts me "not to call or text him anymore because he wants to get his attorney involved". Dude, you and your company did an extremely terrible job for a service I PAID FOR and you don't want to discuss or fix anything? What the hell kind of company is this? We have 2 young kids so the moving was already stressful but this company just made it 1,000 times worse. There are many moving companies so I would avoid this company. They're unprofessional, reckless with moving and packing, and awful customer service. Oh and their employees are obviously under the influence on the job. Also.... hide your snacks too read more

If you are moving do yourself a favor - and just stop here! First, I should say that I'm pretty picky, big on transparency (I don't like hidden charges), and even pickier when it comes to customer service. Move Crew FAR SURPASSED anything I could have imagined, and made my move a great experience. I don't say this lightly, nor do I tend to submit reviews, yet this time I had to. I moved from the Washington, DC, metro area to Baltimore and decided to use Move Crew at the recommendation of two friends who recently used their services. Shout out first to Sheena. My buddies said she responds fast, and she really does. She explained the flat rate charge and the moving services Move Crew provides including shrink wrapping, disassembling, and reassembling items if needed, and let me know that the flat rate charge was it. No hidden fees! Prior to speaking with Sheena I researched other moving companies within the Baltimore area, and found Move Crew's pricing to be extremely affordable, and was happy I decided to use them. Within thirty minutes I locked in my moving date. Malik and Malcolm. These two guys really did their thing. They showed up on time, were professional, friendly, and extremely easy to work with. I'm not sure how many employees Move Crew has, and I'm sure the other employees are just as good, yet because I personally experienced Malik and Malcolm and their work I highly recommend asking for them if they are available. My move was fast, they shrunk wrapped furniture, and padded fragile items. They hustled, and made my move easy. Side note, because this speaks to their personal care of my stuff - when they pulled into the new place the loading dock was in the alley. There was a shady looking character hanging around that the guys took note of so to ensure the safety of my items they unloaded, and secured the truck between runs. There were no scratches to items, no marked walls - none of the things you expect to happen during a move. Last, the customer service piece that tied it all together for me was the phone call from the owner George who checked in to see how the move was going. In addition to the recommendation from my buddies, I also checked the reviews and I have to tell you my move was on point. I started telling my friends about my experience so that Move Crew is first on their radar when they need moving services. Definitely use their services before going anywhere else! I spoke to George of The Move Crew LLC and several other movers in the days leading up to my move from North Wilmington to Lansdale the other day. George and I haggled over the price quote--he had been the highest bidder at $225 (the others were $150 and $190), but the two lower bidders dropped out at the last moment (overbooked)--so I agreed on a price of either $200 or $250. When they called me from New Castle to confirm the pickup, Len and Moses refused to hear directions and instead got them from their home office, which got them thoroughly lost, at least fifty miles out of their way, and two hours late. When he saw my stuff, Len exclaimed, "This is a $300 move! How much did George quote you?" My movers now held me and my stuff captive; I'd committed to being out of the apartment by the end of that day and it was too late (4:30pm) to call anyone else, so I had no choice but to go along with the higher price. (I just didn't give them tips as I usually do. Couldn't afford to.) Nevertheless, Len and Mose were careful and efficient loading and unloading the furniture, and they followed me up to Lansdale on the 40-mile journey with nary a missed turn or delay. They were also just nice kids; they didn't complain about my heavy furniture and made intelligent small talk as we worked (I helped to the extent my aching flat feet let me). The only casualties of the move were a three-inch gash in my (new) bed's box spring, which I subsequently patched with matching cloth, and white paint scraped from a door onto the edges of the dining room table, which I removed with one of those scratchy green and yellow sponges, recommended by Len, who undoubtedly has had ample experience with them. So although it wasn't a perfect move--I made allowances for the fact that Len and Mose were tired at the end of a busy, end-of-May Saturday; also giddy from exacting $300 from me for a one bedroom, first floor to first floor move--it sure beat staying where I was. Postscript: I called George to tell him about the higher price. He said he'd look into it and call me back. I don't expect to ever hear from George again. read more

Move Crew service was Awesome! Being that it was my first time using a moving service company, I did not know what to expect. After researching a couple of companies, Move Crew stuck out to me. I contacted the company for a call-back quote and Sheena called me immediately. Customer service was on point. Although the date for my relocation was within the same week (in 4 days), Move Crew was able to fit me into their schedule. Unlike other companies I had contacted, Move Crew based my quote on number of bedrooms rather than number/weight of items or hours of service. It was a flat amount, which was comparatively way cheaper ($500) than others I had contacted ($700+ and $1000+). I was surprised and loved the offer so I paid the very low deposit ($25). On the day of service, the weather was not conducive - it rained! I was worried. I received a call from Sheena about 30 minutes before service to let me know the crew should be there as scheduled. George showed up on time with the crew. Upon assessing my items, he sent for a 4th person. In no time, all my items were neatly and securely wrapped and carried into the truck, THROUGH THE RAIN (All Items Were Protected from the showers and NOTHING WAS DAMAGED). My new place is a high rise and quite a bit of a walk to my unit. The movers brought everything in and placed them exactly where we wanted. I did not request for disassembling/assembling, but the movers were willing to help put anything together. After the service, the movers made sure everything was where we wanted it before they exited. I will definitely recommend Move Crew LLC anytime, and I plan to utilize the service again. read more

I've used Move Crew twice now- once for a super local move, and one that was ~30mi. Both experience now have been absolutely phenomenal. Sheena has been quick to reply, straightforward with pricing, and flexible. She has been more than kind, courteous, and provided a seamless process. After giving her an idea of our inventory, she gave us a flat fee and a written agreement of the expectations of the move, which I was extremely happy about. They took the uncertainty and guesswork out of an otherwise stressful move! In this most recent experience, Alonso and Paul were our movers. They were really awesome guys, smart packers, and efficient movers. We were moving from a two-story row home to a one-story apartment. Alonso and Paul called to let us know they were running a little late, and to get an idea of our inventory. They were quick and efficient in packing everything, and were even quicker emptying the truck. All of our furniture is perfectly intact, and they even put our bed back together! Tldr: I was extremely happy with my experience. Every aspect of our move went from anxiety-producing to seamless. I've used them twice and I hope to use them again! These guys were the best! Super kind, incredible price. On the day of the move, they showed up promptly and were very quick with getting the truck loaded. Our apartment opens into an alleyway with a fence about 4 feet from the door. It can be very difficult to move big pieces of furniture in and out of the apartment, and they were efficient and nothing was damaged. We were moving long-distance (from Philadelphia to New York City), and we actually got stuck in traffic behind the moving truck. The movers were kind enough to wait an hour and a half for me to make it to the apartment, and then an additional 20 minutes while I got the keys from the super. They were so nice about the delay, and had unloaded much of the truck by the time I finally arrived ready to bring it into the new apartment. The new apartment is a third floor walk-up and they did an amazing job getting everything upstairs quickly. They also did a great job of disassembling and reassembling our larger furniture pieces. Payment was easy online before the move even began. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and would use them again! read more

I had a good feeling about Sheena from the initial phone call. I heard kids in the background and a baby while I read off the list of items to be moved. I immediately knew that I called the right place. Sheena assured me that her guys were professional and that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. She explained to me that they were a small family owned business and customer satisfaction was her husband's top priority. I emphasized to her that although I felt she was sincere and kind hearted, I was a very hesitant to use her company because of the negative reviews. I'm a firm believer in following your first instinct so I chose Move Crew to relocate our family from Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Marietta Georgia. The move went grear. The guys showed up on time and packed our 3 bedroom house in less than 8 hours. We were able to drive straight to Georgia will the guys came the following morning. I am recently divorced and needed to pick up my bedroom suit from my previous home and have it moved to my new residence. I had called another company, who cancelled out on me at the last minute, so I ended up calling Move Crew and spoke with Sheena. She was very pleasant, kind and professional and assured me that they would fit me in. On the day of the move, it was pouring rain and I thought, oh no, it's not going to happen. I was happily surprised when she called to let me know they were on their way. I was very impressed with the two wonderful guys, Moses and Phillip, as they were very equipped to handle the job and with the upmost respect and courtesy to me and my belongings. I was also happy with the price that was given for the move, I thought it to be reasonable and fair. I am planning on moving again, a full house, and am definitely going to contact them. We had a great experience with Move Crew LLC. They are a family owned and operated business out of Delaware who works in the tri state area. I was referred by a friend who also found their services to be helpful and economical. I got quotes from several other moving services and Move Crew blew them out of the water! They charge a flat fee versus hourly. Sheena, the co-owner was helpful and able to answer all of my questions. Her team was experienced, professional, fast, and capable. Don, Phil, and Oren had our items packed expertly in their 26 foot truck, and unpacked them in a flash. The day was one of the hottest but they didn't waiver and their energy levels were impressive. Communication with Sheena and one of her movers was easy and frequent. She called to let me know they were running a bit behind, and I was able to text one of the movers to alert them to our unique loading situation. Move Crew helped me move out of my center city apartment and into my faimount apartment today. They were the absolute best movers I have ever dealt with. They came at the scheduled time and had everything done in under 3 hours. Moving out of my center city apartment was definitely not easy with 5 flights and a very narrow spiral staircase. George and his partner were so efficient and so careful with everything. They had to hoist things from balcony to balcony and did so without damages and without complaining! They helped to take apart my bed even though I didn't specify that I would need that. They were probably the most courteous guys I have ever met and made the move as enjoyable as a move could possibly be. I seriously can't say enough about how great and professional they were. Move Crew was on my realtor's list of recommended moving-related vendors. Sheena responded quickly and did a walk thru to verify what needed to be moved and what didn't. I quickly got a quote in writing (flat fee, not hourly) and they stuck to that number (although I heard some movers find reasons to charge more before they unload). We also had a grand piano to move and they are one of the few movers who do this in addition to home goods. The team arrived when scheduled and never stopped moving until the truck was full, transported and carried into the next house. All the furniture was well wrapped in blankets and there were no damage issues. Great care was taken of the piano and several other heavy items. So this was the most last minute this of my life... However they managed to make it as simple and as pleasurable as possible. I called yesterday in a state of panic as I got a dog and it's not allowed in my building and I had to move from Middletown to Newark in 24 hrs. Everything was booked and taken care of in an hour and they were at my door the next morning at 10:30... Never seen anything like it. They were extremely professional and sweet even though my little puppy was getting in their way. George and his team packed my things impeccably and packed up my whole entire one bedroom apartment in about 4hours. Everything was done with a smile and great energy and that means a tremendous amount to me especially when moving and handling my personal property. I enjoyed my experience with Move Crew LLC! My move was scheduled for April 29, 2018 at 9 am. The movers arrived on time and were very friendly and efficient. They were able to take apart my queen storage bed and re assemble it at my new location with little problem. They handled all of my furniture with great care and wrapped the fragile pieces. In addition to moving my furniture, they moved my grandmother's armoire up stairs for her. I appreciate their timeliness and professionalism. To top it off, you will not find a more affordable moving company than Move Crew LLC. This is my second time with Move Crew LLC. And I will be going with them everytime as long as they provide me with the same service. Second move was even better which prompted me to write the reviews. I hardly write reviews but these guys deserve to be appreciated. There are so many things that can go wrong with the move as you are dealing with so many issue from packing the boxes to loading and unloading. These guys wrapped all of the furnitures with plastic and took good care of all our belongings. And the guys were super strong ...carried two full size bags on one go!!! BRAVO!!! Well the cost was the best price as others charge you 1000+ they had the fixed price! As the move takes more than half a day, these guys spent around 7 hours and still no extra!!! I had a great experience!! I admit I was skeptical at first. I found them listed online. I needed a sofa, loveseat and three tables delivered from West Chester to Philly and didn't give them much notice. I emailed them and they called me right back. Very nice and professional. He told me he could do it Saturday night or even Friday night. They arrived at the house right on time to pick up the furniture and were at my house in no time. They delivered the furniture as if in their own house and took care not to nick the sofa and loveseat. They brought the furniture in with no problem and made it look so easy. They worked well together. They even were nice enough to put my old furniture to the curb (trash day is on Monday). I would definitely use their services again. It was great! read more

I just wanted to tell of the awesome service that was provided me courtesy of Move Crew. I had strong doubts about doing business with this company after reading up on there horrible reviews. Nonetheless, this was my last option since every other company I called wasn't able to move my family last minute. I couldn't have ask for a better crew. George and his wife Sheen who I've spoken to assured me that customer satisfaction was the first priority. The movers came in and went straight to work. Never complained about the fact that they were caught off guard, moving in the rain and had to park there truck at least a couple hundred feet away from the apartment since there wasn't any parking spaces. The Move Crew helped me moved about a week ago. They were on site ready to move by the time I pulled up--and I was the late one. The movers were fairly new so they weren't as fast, per se. However, they did get the job done and with NO damages suffered. They were a tad unprepared in my honest opinion as they didn't have any hand trucks which I thought would've been helpful. Still, they managed to get my stuff out of the truck and up to the eighth floor in one piece--which is what I care about most. The workers were nice and professional the entire time. They had to deal with my wife for the majority of the time, and anyone that can handle her instructions deserves a lot of credit. Great movers! Move Crew deserves 5 stars. They saved the day! 4 weeks before my move, I had confirmed movers ready to go for my 6/30 move. The Lead Mover called at 2PM to confirm for a 5PM move. At 3:30PM, the company called back to say that the other mover had an unforeseen circumstance come up and they could no longer assist in my move. They suggested working with Move Crew. I WISH I had known about Move Crew from the beginning so I could have avoided all the mess of a last-minute move. George from Move Crew worked with me to quickly identify two guys to help with my move and within TWO HOURS my belongings were fully moved into my new home. I truly could not be a happier customer. I was dreading the decision making process when it came to choosing movers due to some bad experiences in the past. Now I am happy to say that I proudly recommend these folks to anyone who asks about my moving experience. It was professional yet comfortably friendly from beginning to end.
