They took 4 hours on a two hour job. I caught them taking smoking breaks in the truck where my items were. I asked the lady on the phone to inform me of everything I need to know so I'm not surprised by any hidden fees. She left out the part that they charge $25 extra to move your tv if you don't have the box. They damaged my bookshelf, and made my ottoman dirty. When I told the so called highly professional mover that I was not informed about the tv extra charge his coworker said loudly to the other co worker she's being a B****. I was told there was going to be 3 movers but the 3rd mover showed up 30 minutes late. They took their time wrapping all my items I strongly felt that that was on purpose. I ended up paying 2 times more then what I was quoted. I ended up helping them because I could not afford to pay anymore extra money. When I helped them they moved a lot faster. When it was time to drive to my new place they took a longer route. My GPS said the fast route was an 8 minute drive the route they took was 16 minutes I followed them. I've been trying to call and text the lady in the office who upon booking was very responsive and friendly and now won't respond to my texts or calls which is very disappointing. I've never been the type of person to write a bad review if I had a bad experience I just simply won't use that service again or visit the place again but this I just had to write a review because of them not responding back to me.

Moving is stressful for everyone and of course as a client we are worried about our things and the costs of everything but it's no reason to be rude to the people who are literally making the move happen. Yes, with any moving company there are fees that come up and in order for them to move your stuff without breaking it, they will use tape and plastic wrap that THEY purchase to ensure your things don't get damaged and then they add the cost to your bill, just like ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY. They also give you the option to supply your own tape and plastic wrap so you won't get extra fees added. All in all, AMO is a great company and I refer them to everyone.

Plus you can provide the truck or they can. They arrived, surveyed the apartment and got to work, how they managed to fit everything into that truck I will never know but they did! And really fast too! They made sure to wrap up out delicate furniture and make sure our glass doors were safe. Brought our stuff up to the 2nd floor (at no extra charge!) and put it just where we wanted it. They were a third of the cost of a large moving company!! Did they really think their employees would admit to doing the damage? I have folks who had seen this item previously and can testify that the photos are exact. And the lack of holders for the shelves. And folks who can testify to the mess left by their beans in my microwave.

I gave her an accurate account of the items I would be moving when and where and I received a quote in about 20 minutes. The day before I received a call regarding the move to confirm and see if I had any major changes that would change the quoted price. On the day of the move the movers arrived a little late but it didn't bother me, my move was scheduled for 9-11 and they arrived at 930 and still I was out by 11, I had a 1 bedroom apt on the 4th flr. My entire move was done by noon!!!! They had gotten to my new place unpacked reassembled items they took apart and put things where they were labeled, ie basement bedroom kitchen etc. The only complaint was that I wish they had told me that they were going to have more people moving me, the paperwork said 3 but it was 5 guys so I didn't have enough money for all the tips, but I guess they worked it out. Clearly this difference made a huge difference though I'm not sure why. Setting up and arranging was easy, they were polite and provided a great quote of $650 for 3 men for 5 hours of move of a 2 bedroom. This sounds great to me and I book. Day of move goes okay however they took a very slow time moving things downstairs, acted surprised I had a flight of stairs when I told them multiple times in the arrangements, and dropped several things one being an inherited framed tapestry from my grandmother. This would all be fine except when we got to my new location they were clearly exhausted (2 of them are not in "moving guys shape") and almost irritated they had to finish the job. Like...that's literally what I am hiring the service for. However, what really tipped the scales was by the end, because it took them 2 hours longer than anticipated they doubled the price to a bit over $1200 and then had the audacity to ask if I was going to tip! I was, and had the money ready but how dare you flat out ask for it! To add insult to injury after they left and I tipped I found the broken tapestry. Additionally, they put heavy boxes on breakables and though I inventoried and labeled each box with the room it should go in they threw them literally in the almost opposite direction. The littlest mover, was the best. He was friendly, professional and darn strong for being so small. He worked his butt off and if I could've given everything to him I would have. Asking them about the tapestry I inquired if I should go through my insurance or theirs. They suggested theirs and then led me on a goose chase for a week before reverting back and saying I should go through my own insurance. For the fact that I didn't really save any money here by going with Crescent I would say absolutely choose another vendor.

Thats what you said!". I was speechless. This is extremely unprofessional, & not a good way to grow a business. I chose to call Greg back because after consideration, I thought the service was pleasant on the phone, so the trade-off seemed worth it to me. I work in Fleet with a thorough customer service profile. It is very normal for people to question pricing. But because he chose to feel offended, this resulted in a missed opportunity. Two Men and a Truck not only were able to accommodate my last minute move, but they even beat the price of my original company. The day of the move, my movers arrived right on time with what I was told. I had a relatively easy move (1 BR apartment, furniture only, no boxes...moving 5 miles down the road) so they were able to load my property in around 20 minutes. They took great care to protect my items from damage during transportation. Once loaded, I went ahead of them to my new apartment and was told they were right behind me. This is my ONLY slight concern of the entire move process...it took them about 30 minutes longer to get to my new apartment when it should only be a 10 minute drive. When paying in 15 min increments, this was mildly concerning. However, I will give them the benefit of the doubt as I'm not sure if they were still securing my property in the truck when I went ahead of them. At my new apartment, again, they were very efficient and careful in unloading my property and setting it up. Took maybe 25 minutes to unload everything. All in all, they finished the job almost to the minute of the time that I was originally quoted, so no additional charges or surprises. I would highly recommend them, and will use them again in the future.
