My car's catalytic converter was almost stolen overnight at 3am - luckily my alarm notified me and I went out and scared away the thieves. The rear pipe had been cut and the front was halfway cut. The O2 sensor was still intact and not cut so that was a huge money saver had it been cut. This business was open when I called first thing in the morning and they said bring it right over and then can weld it. Brought it in by tow truck, put on a lift and had them weld back the pipe in 10 minutes. $65 later and all working well. A well deserved 5 star experience. read more

Wow!!!! Great job and service. Andrew is hands down the best mechanic i have ever dealt with. Honest and upfront on all mechanic work and wow the pricing is Phenomenal! I brought my dads truck in to replace parts that was recommended by another mechanic to find out that wasn't the issue in the first place. Andrew did a "Free" diagnostic and found the real problem and fixed it at a great cost in labor as we brought in our own parts. Not only did we do the parts replacement but got a A/C recharge and a good steam clean of the engine. Which with the price charged for all the labor work it made us feel the steam clean and A/C charge was done for free. These guys dont have a dam clue what they are doing. I haven't written a review in over a year because they convinced me they did nothing wrong and maybe just maybe it was my car. Well today i found a dam good muffler who I should have went to since day one and ponied up the extra cash and time. These clowns put in an xpipe on my mustang, a cut and clamp for christ sakes. When i left the dam car started to squeak just a tad, enough where i could hear it and it bothered me. I took it back and they claimed it was like that before and not related to their work. I gave it a shot and prayed it would go away. It only got worse day by day by day. Until today, when i took it to a real muffler shop and they showed me what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. Today I am squeak free. read more

Had a Borla exhaust and K&N cold-air intake installed on my '07 Honda Ridgeline. They were very nice and accommodating, and the installation price was fair (they take all major cc's, not "cash only" like a lot of places). I was even given a ride home so I could get on with my day. They did a very good job, and even pressure-washed my engine. My only criticism is that I was told my truck would be ready at a certain time, and I left my workplace in time to be home so they could pick me up - but ended up sitting at my house a few extra hours before they finally picked me up, which nearly made me late to a business engagement. I was told they were delayed because they had a few folks walk in with work and questions, but I'm only 5 minutes away and there were two people at the shop that day - one of them could have picked me up. Should the need arise, I will likely use this shop again; the service was good and friendly, the price was fair, and it appears the work was done well (won't know for sure until I drive my truck a few more miles). Just be prepared to be flexible based on their workload. read more

My after-market MAC mufflers made an unbearable drone that, in time, would turn one's brain into Jello while cruising between 1600 and 2000 RPMs. To damper the unwanted bellowing, I researched the net for a pair of off-the-shelf resonators. I then went on line with a recommended leading manufacturer of Mustang performance exhaust systems and asked their "expert technical advisor" to suggest which of their resonators would fix the problem. The less-than-professional reply said to "measure and order accordingly." Consequently, they: a.) didn't have one; b.) didn't know; c.) didn't care; or d.) were smart-asses. Bud's Muffler personnel knew exactly what to do: They fabricated a pair of resonators with the exact diameter and length to fit the limited space. Then, the technician who did the custom installation was a perfectionist craftsman; the fit was as good as factory install. He also found, and fixed, a dangling wire harness that was being scorched by an exhaust pipe (had it burned through, it would have been a bitch to troubleshoot). To his credit, the technician (can't just call him an "installer") worked on my car as if it was his own. My MACs sound a lot better (great bass notes) and the mind-numbing drone no longer resonates the cabin's sheet metal. I am very satisfied with the fine work done by Bud's Muffler and highly recommend their services. read more

Took my 300zx to them to get new cats and downpipe installed and they said it would be 150$ and would only take a hour and a half after waiting there for 3 and a half hours they had only done the cats and told me that they could not install my new downpipes atfer braking all 3 bolts on my old downpipe from being in a hurry. After they were done with there bad job on installing my new cats and braking off my downpipe bolts and not installing my new downpipe they tryed to scam me for 300$ and they said it would be 150$ so they did half the work and wanted doulbe the price... I agree stay away from this shop if if you have a jeep I took my 94 wrangler in to put a new exhaust. When the mechanic was done he showed me some gaskets that need to be changed by the drive shaft and transfer case. I told him go ahead 2 days later my drve shaft came off and busts a chunk of my transfer case when I towed the jeep in they did not want to touch or claim any responsibility to it. I took to my mechanic at JW custom trucks and when they pulled it apart the bolts were busted in half these guys at Buds over torqued everything about 5x what it should have been. May have been a good shop back in the day but now. STAY AWAY FROM BUDS MUFFLER!!!!! read more

If I could do 0 stars, I would. If you care about your car, dont come here. Horrible customer service, even more horrible quality work. I asked for a simple mid muffler delete. Gave them a little over an hour to do the job and still came out horrible. The welding looked like they gave the welding machine to a little kid. Absolutely terrible job. There were holes in my pipe and didnt even weld the pipe all around. Their reasoning was that they couldnt reach the top. That was a bunch of BS. Ended up taking it to another muffler shop and they redid the piping the way it should have been done. When they saw the welds that was done by this shop, they were horrified. And also told me i over paid. They charged me $75 for welding a 15 inch pipe. When i returned to ask for a refund. They refused to give it to me, and told me I shouldve given them a second chance to fix the problems. Now, why would I waste my time coming here again if they couldnt do it right the first time. I was appalled when they wouldnt even admit that the welding was horrible. Worstest experience Ive ever had at an auto shop. Dont even bother coming here. Save your money and your time. read more

mmm i dunno about thiss place. came here to get some prices on upgrading my exhaust. it was sketch comming in here. and i came back later that day to put some reverse glow gauges on my mustang. the guy was trying to put it in,but it was takiing him forever. he got mad and stormed out of my car and started kicking boxes and cussing all over the place. that was so unprofessional. the other guy who was there, the one i had talked to in the first trip ended up finishing the gauges but it took him awhile as well. something that shoulda took an hour turned into 5. kinda ridiculous. read more
