Do not use this shop. They don't know what they are doing. Caused exhaust leak on my car and refuse to admit it. I had to paid another shop another $217 to fix their mistake. Went in yesterday for a muffler delete job. Car sounded like it was broken once I test drove it. It was making a high pitch noise sounded like it had a leak. Brought it back to the shop immediately. The owner said he would take care of it the next day. Came back the next day. The owner barely took a looked at the car and said there is no leak and there is nothing he can fix. I then took it to Pepe's muffler in El Monte. They told me it was leaking in almost every weld spot they did to connect the piping. And they basically just cut a hole in the middle of a pipe for the dual exit instead of using a preferred method like a y pipe. Have video proof of everything. PM me if you want to find out more detail TLDR: Had to pay $217 for another shop to fix exhaust leak caused by Mufflerville. Mufflerville also refused to refund me. After having my water pump replaced from a Japanese automotive specialist shop, I was told that my exhaust was leaking from the catalytic flange to the engine and that It needs to be welded back. Ok I thought, no biggie. I brought my beloved Maxine to Butch but unfortunately he was unable to do the welding needed to fix the loud leak. A lot of parts needed to be removed! Took my car right back to this Japanese automotive specialist shop saying they will fix it! My exhaust was in perfect working order, now my AC isn't working anymore plus still had a large leak coming from the water pump area in which Butch pointed out to me! Looked for a muffler shop and saw this one had great reviews and was pretty close to my house. The shop looks run down, but Butch's customer service made me forget what the shop looked like. I went in to the shop because I had an exhaust leak that was going in my car, even with the windows up! I had to drive with my windows down all the time or else the car would fill up with exhaust smell; which is dangerous. Anyway, I went to Butch and he took a look at my exhaust pipe for me. He was real honest and said I don't have a leak. He said it might be my weather stripping from my trunk that is worn. He looked at the weather stripping and said it looked good. He didn't know what else to tell me. Then he told me a story on how the old VW station wagons had a tail pipe that would curve and stick out the side of the car instead of the rear to get rid of their smell. So I asked how much it would cost to do that to my car and he said $15. To me, I was surprised because anybody else would probably charged $50. Even though I didn't know if this would solve my problem, I had Butch do it anyway. (You can't beat $15!) I walked across the street ordered some food and by the time I was out he was done. I thanked him for his great service and left. On my way home, I realized my problem had been fixed! No more exhaust smell in my car! Woohoo! I was skeptical at first coming overhere since there's not a lot of reviews of imports getting exhaust work done but all doubts went away after Butch the old gentleman who work on my Z did a fantastic job installing my exhaust & made proper fitment to my satisfaction. He's also by far the cheapest than Mike's Muffler or Valley Muffler where most import cars goes.
