At first I chose TL motor to fix my Tesla because they have a good review on Yelp. After keeping my car for a week for diagnostic they couldn't find the problem and suggesting me to get it fixed at the dealership. Charged me for $175 , after telling me they couldn't fix it. We just picked up our car from the dealership. You know which one, the 2013 Range Rover sport? The one you said needed a fuel pump, engine test, and a timing belt replacement, in total around $14,000, including parts and labor. The dealership replaced the fuel pump/fuel pump test, battery, oil change and a detail, a loner car, for the duration of the repairs, in total $6,500. BUYER BEEARE BE VERY AWARE. This establishment is full of crooks and liars. We brought our Range Rover and Mercedes to be repaired The Mercedes needed a right front axel repair and a new cabin air filter. keep in mind there were no engine light on and the car had a recent check up, oil change and just past smog with flying colors. We picked up the car and two days later the engine light came on. The car was hardly able to make it back to the shop. Upon entering I was told by Gaby that our extended warranty has expired and we would need to pay. they Now said the catalytic converter was bad and the turbo was leaking. We drove the car only 20 miles from the time we picked it up. These people don't even use their real names hiding their true identity. I knew I was being scammed so I called the Bureau of automotive repair. Caron Brian who is actually Arsen Berbeyan told me if I was thinking of suing them that they already had for lawsuits pendin. I believe they were trying to hustle us to pay for their misfortune. To make matters worse, they also repaired my Range Rover and the same repair they charged thousands to repair..the passenger seat air bag light is still on. I'm scare d to death to take it back to them because they may decide to do something to my vehicle. Im sick to my stomach and have never been taken advantage of like this shop has done to our family. Hi community, like to give everyone a heads up so no one else goes thru what I'm going thru right now getting ripped off by TL Motors. I recently took my wife's 2019 Audi QS5 to dealership for oil change and inspection. Received report back few items should be replaced for maintenance. I shopped around because my wife was on me about dealership are so expensive so ok I yelped TL Motors reached out to them spoke with there sales rep Richard at the time.. I gave Richard the report of items for "maintenance" vehicle ran fine no problems. He agreed to the repairs as well as a diagnostic to make sure no other issues with vehicle. Never got diagnostic test ran on vehicle and the next morning after picking up vehicle coolant reservoir was over filled so leaking. The vehicle was getting system errors coolant wasn't getting to engine over heating. Reached back out to Richard come to find out Richard no longer employed there so spoke with owner Carson Brian whose real name is Arsen Berberyan. Took vehicle back to TL motors to fix issues that I've never had in first place with vehicle. Carson first tells me it's the coolant reservoir cap. Well of course because your mechanic over filled reservoir and coolant hose because everything so old according to Carson they just break. One of items on report - I had water pump replaced they should have replaced hoses gasket that protain to water pump which is part of coolant system it's a whole kit. Get the vehicle back after another week . Not even a full day drove car to market car over heating again. Frustrated now trying to be good customer trying to not flip out . Call Carson take back to TL motors again another week now Carson says coolant reservoir has a crack in it never saw it but ok....got the car back Monday night car overheating in morning driving to gym. Carson states now he won't honor warranty. All I want is my vehicle to run the way it did before TL motors touch my vehicle. Now I have vehicle that just sits there after paying $6k. I'm suing Carson and TL Motors will let you all know the outcome. read more

My car was fixed to my needs in a timely fashion and the personnel were very friendly and attentive.

After calling to confirm that they had availability to see my car that day for an estimate, we had our vehicle towed to TL Motors. They did not look at my car that day. The next day we were told that it would be $1100 to run two diagnostic test. This did not include any parts or labor for whatever issue may reveal itself. Once we had agreed to testing, I was told 3-4 hours and that the tech would start after lunch. I was never contacted. This was a Friday. We reached out on Saturday and was told our contact was off and we would hear back on Monday. This was unacceptable as we are told 3 to 4 hours the day before. At this point everything started to feel kind of sketchy. After stating our unhappiness and the situation they have left us in, another employee called us back. He claimed that during the testing on Friday a different issue (one never mentioned in any prior dealings) and our new estimate was for $18000. Outrageous. When we spoke with the staff we were told that the machine they have to run these tests shows EVERY POSSUBLE thing that could need replacement and that that is what they would need to do a they can't just replace some things and not others. A new engine for this vehicle runs about 16-18000 so this seemed a bit excessive. In the end we paid our balance for the one test that was actually run and towed our car to a dealership. Even if they were correct with their tests and what needed to be done their business practice was poor and lacked proper communication and allowed for us to believe we would have answers in a timely fashion and then left us on read for days. read more

The passenger seat airbag sensor stopped working in my car. Apparently you can't just replace the sensor in my vehicle, it has to be the entire seat. The dealership wanted to charge me $13k to replace the seat so I took my car in to a few repair shops and they couldn't figure out how to fix the problem. TL Motors was not only able to do a full diagnostic, they were also able to replace the seat in my car for a fraction of what the dealer had quoted me. Their rep., Carson explained thoroughly what my options were and kept me apprised of the progress during the repairs. I will definitely recommend this repair shop to my family and friends. read more

SCAM. Went there and told them I needed my downstream o2 sensor replaced. They said 160 for the diagnosis. I said no because I already knew the sensor has to be replaced. They said they have to do the diagnosis first. Call hours later and they told me I "only" need a $60 gas cap + labor and that they already ordered it. Before I even agreed to it? I asked them if it was a Honda branded gas cap and he couldn't tell me. I told them I replaced the gas cap months ago and I need my o2 sensor replaced. "No, it's the gas cap". I've had my Honda S2000 for over 16 years and I guess I don't know my car well enough like these experts. So I pick up the car and the guy is excited to show me this $60 gas cap. I said I don't care about the gas cap, I came here for the sensor. They said the sensor was $95 and $365 to install. They charged me a total of $230 FOR A GAS CAP. Guess what, my OBD reader still says I have a problem with my o2 sensor. SCAM. read more

I took in my Jeep with an issue my mechanic couldn't solve. It was heating up when I drove up an incline or even a small grade. I was constantly looking at the temperature gauge every time I drove it. Carson and his team found mud between the radiator vents, changed my thermostat and the housing for it. The issue is fixed. I was already looking to sell my beloved jeep but now I'll be looking for mountains to climb Instead. I also got my coolant flushed, oil changed and my clutch/Brake fluid replaced. Took my Prius in for airbag light repair. Cruise control wasn't working and I was told by Toyota that servicing my C.C would be additional and that a diagnostic would have to be done with a $140 charge. Luckily after searching for a mechanic that works on hybrids. I met with Carson who was extremely professional and had both jobs done at no additional cost for the C.C as it was all linked to the airbag problem. This place is one of the cleanest shop I have ever been, and very well equipped. I brought my wife's Alfa here for an oil change and a 62-point TLC inspection. They use liqui moly here, as far as I know it is one of the best oil out there, and Carson is very patient explaining all the issues he found in our vehicle. Side note: the last car shop I went, was not able to reset the service oil light after the oil change, and TL motors is equipped to do this. They are very transparent in what have been done during the process. I will bring my own miata here for any service. read more

My entire family used to go here for our car needs. Oil changes were practically free. These days, it'll be $70 or so. I ended up paying $170 because all of a sudden, I needed a new Cabin Air Filter for $65 ($30 for the filter, $35 for labor) and my air filter for another $34 ($21 for the filter, $13 for labor). My statement actually says $183 and some change. My 2013 Toyota is pretty new. More miles on it than average, but no reason to fork over a ton of money. It was recommended I need new shocks and would run me close to $600 (more if you include labor and tax)? What for? I am way under 60,000 miles, which is the Toyota mileage warranty for shocks. I went to the Toyota dealership and they said this "shock leakage" is normal on all vehicles. It's a lubricating mechanism when you hit speed bumps, pot holes, etc. Another shop told me it's normal and my shocks are fine since my tires are wearing out evenly. TL Motors then called me and I told them that Toyotas are under warranty for shocks until 60K miles. Shouldn't they know this since they service Toyotas, hence their name? I was then recommended to change my Rear Differential Fluid (for about $100), Transmission Fluid (for about $115) and Clutch Fluid (for about $100). The best part? I needed this Throttle Body Service, which they convinced me of doing with my old car. Actually, the best part is recommending doing a Coolant flush for about $150. I paid $80 total for the Rear AND Transmission Fluid. Spent two hours max doing it on my own. Not the $200+ this place quotes you at just for the fluids alone and extra for labor and then tax. I understand labor is what carries a business, but it's not something I just want to pay for right off the bat. Coolant? I am not forking over $150 or this. Did you guys know that (for my Toyota anyway) that Coolant is a long-lasting one and should be good for 11 years or 137,500 miles? If anything, you can just top it off if you dip low. A jug from the Toyota dealership was $30. As for this Throttle Body Service? Look on forums and anyone that knows cars and this is the biggest waste of money/scam ever. They just pour this bottle of "cleaner" into your engine. Sometimes, you'll even end up with an engine that is worse because of all the gunk and residue that the "cleaner" stuff left. I admit, they convinced me so much to get this on my old car so that I'd pass the new smog test rules. Side story on that, I needed to cough up almost $2000 to fix that car. They said that the car was worth $1500 according to the guys at TL Motors. I tried selling it to them because they know the car and have been servicing it (I didn't know about cars then). They wanted $300 all of a sudden. Ok. read more

I was super hesitant to take my precious Lexus anywhere but my steady mechanic for 10+years. However my mechanic is almost 30 minutes one way, and I needed my ac fixed ASAP. We called a few places and decided to give TL MOTORS a try. Sean and Carson were super friendly and professional. The place is clean and well maintained. They arranged for Enterprise to pick me up and were done with my car exactly when promised, in 5 hours. Upon pick up of my car, I was given $30 in bonus bucks to use on future services. And a coupon for a free car wash. That was a cool unexpected perk. While they were fixing my ac they noticed my coolant was rusty and nasty and suggested I have my mechanic change it out. WELL, since I'm trying to trust these guys and possibly start a long relationship, I decided to let TL MOTORS service my car again. Super convenient having it close! They seem honest and genuinely concerned with letting me know what issues my car has. Avoid this place at all costs. After spending time looking at local car shops near me, I chose to go here and boy do I regret it. Of course at first they were all really friendly, and talking highly of their work on how they specialize with Infiniti cars. Yes, I will admit Infiniti cars are really delicate but if you specialize in these cars there shouldn't be a problem. I went in having one issue and came out with another. The gauge needle on my car was stuck so I took it in, and then get a call that they're really backed up and wanted to keep my car overnight. The next day I get a call that my car was finally done and on arrival I make sure and inspect my car as they do before they accept the job. I step inside my car, and the needle was working perfectly. In my mind I was like great! Then I look around everything is looking just as I left it, but then I roll down my windows and my drivers side window was stuck. They looked at each other in kind of a panic, and said that my motor was gonna die soon anyways. I said no, my window was working perfectly and anyways how would they know? Maybe because they're the pros or the specialists right? Or maybe because they forgot to follow the specific Infiniti procedure when unhooking a battery on my car, which is known if not followed properly can damage your window motors. Hmmm.... And then offered to order a new window motor and install it, but at this point do I trust them? And you would also think that maybe they would offer some sort of discount because of what happened but no, they wanted to cash out and start a brand new job. $$$$$$$$$$$ Just stay away from this place if you want to avoid a headache, maybe they were once great many years ago but the people that are running it now have put this place to shame. read more
