Just know they sure do take their time, took about 1hr and 15 mins for the child's cut and about 2 hrs. (They both got started at the same time.) The child cut was amazing! He absolutely loved it! As for the adult cut, it was a no. We will not be coming back for the adult cut unfortunately. Can't believe we paid $50 for this ass cut for the adult. 2 hours too. Overall: Child's haircut: 10/10 $35 Adults cut: 2/10 $50

My appointment was confirmed. However they can't honor the appointment. Instead of un confirming the appointment they just adjust the time which made me reach out. There is no one available to do color. After the co owner Corey called me he try to give me a BS answer so when I tried to go back in and make the appointment again I was in fact able to book Corey. So now either yall lieing or just don't know how to work Booksy get it together! Do better.

I called up to ask details about where he went and the person on the phone claims to not know. A proactive email letting me know Nestor is no longer employed would have been appreciated, rather than act like the guy never existed. I understand people move on, but a barber is sort of a personal experience and when you settle into a guy who knows how to do it great, it sucks trying to find someone new and start from scratch.

The first 2 times I got my haircut by Ben who gave me a super on point fade which was the same standard I'm used to by my regular barber in Florida where I'm from. My 3rd time which was also the last time I went since I ended up moving back to Florida and I was unable to get a cut from Ben so he recommended Hike who was absolutely amazing. He gave me a bald fade which was one of the most on point and sharp fades I've ever gotten. His customer service was amazing and he paid attention to every little detail. He took his time but also did not waste any time. If I ever am in Chicago again then I would definitely go out of my way to Hyde Park to this barbershop. They're prices are very fair and you defiantly get the neighborhood barber feel your supposed to get out of a barber shop.
