UGHHHHH! I wanted this to be my new nail shop. I really did but my first experience was less than stellar. Upon entering I was not greeted by the receptionist who was seated at the door that watched me walk through the door. Actually no one said anything until a young lady came from the back and noticed the guy that I was standing there. That's when I should've left but I was desperate! I got to the location about 430, I didn't leave until 720 and all I got was a pedicure with gel polish. One let's start by saying the girl that did my pedicure was new and it was obvious. YALLLLL when I say terrible polish job and I couldn't and wouldn't go anything else because it was already late and I had a 7 am flight the next day. I gave her grace because she truly was trying but... I don't know. But on the upside, she was a super sweet girl that really want to break through in the nail industry but she need more time that for sure. Now it would make sense that I was there for extended amount of time if you would've been a busy day but it was literally me and one other person and once I was finally acknowledge I was sat right away. I just don't recommend because this mess costed me $55. read more

I was really hoping this place would work out because it's fairly close to where my partner and I recently moved. The more I think about the entire experience, the more I get upset. I made appointments for my partner and I to get mani-pedis. I got a confirmation text, all was good. He was getting the basic stuff, no polish and I had gel on my toes and the dip powder on my fingers. The day of the appointment I got a text message to confirm but the time was 2 hours earlier so I called and the guy on the phone was just like "yeah, it's alright just come in.. but who is getting micro blading?" And I was like, uh no one.. and he was like okay cool. Anyway so we got to our appointment and were the only people in there other than employees and a small child. We were seated pretty much immediately, but never asked what "kind" of pedicure/manicure we wanted, they just started. Same thing with the manicure, no options. My partner had his hands soaked and cuticles trimmed and I was expecting the same but the person I had didn't do that which was really disappointing. The kid had A LOT of energy but was super cute and it was like later in the day and I understand child care is a mess in the country. Well, he came over to the chair I was in and spit in the water that my feet were soaking in. Spit! I took my feet out and made eye contact with the person who was working there and she changed apologized and changed the water and the bowl cover thing but didn't really say much else about it, or like tell the kid not to do that. A little while later a man walks in, who I am guessing is this child's father and was like "my bad I was down the way shooting the shit with some of the other business owners". The impression that I got was that he was supposed to be watching this kid who spit in my pedicure water. The final straw that made me want to write a review is the fact that my SNS/dip powder only lasted 5 days before TWO of my nails chipped/broke. Typically, this will last me at the very least 2 weeks, sometimes 3. It was really expensive with no transparency about what we were paying for and honestly, I can't believe I paid for the pedicure. My one and only criticism- not enough SNS choices. I'm a girl that likes funky colors with holographic glitter. I was hoping to find an extreme sparkle black in SNS but had to settle for something that I like but will probably change out in a few weeks. The positives... Libby made me shabby weird uneven nails look GOOD without having to add tips. Squared each one off perfectly. I'm super picky about the shape of my nails and Libby did an absolute great job. She also didn't make me feel like I needed to chat with her while she worked. No uncomfortable niceties. She was polite and and she did her job damn well. Johnny did my pedi and was gentle when needed and firm when needed. Very professional very sweet and very polite. The salon itself is cozy extra clean and COVID safe. And pretty too! The 4 stars is only cause I need more holographic glitter colors ya'll... I will absolutely be back. Thanks Libby and Johnny! read more

***STORY TIME *** Let me preface all of this by saying I used to get fake nails and try different designs on my nails ALL THE TIME but I haven't had designs on my nails in over 12 years!!! If this is the game now, I'm back out!! So, I walked in. I didn't have an appt but there was a nail tech (young Asian guy with blonde-ish hair) chillin so when I walked in he was able to help me right away. The two other techs, a black woman and a black man were busy doing pedicures. I should've taken that as a sign! I told him I wanted a simple manicure with a design on my nails. He said ok, choose a color. I repeated that I want a design not to have my nails painted fully. (Why is that important??? Because again what I remember from getting my nail designs before is that they use the nail polish with the super thin brush... none of those polishes were on the wall.) I should've known then that he didn't understand what I wanted. However, I SHOWED HIM A PICTURE of what I wanted and said, CAN YOU DO THIS? But with white polish instead of the black. He literally looked at my phone for a few secs and said oh yea I can. I said ok great because the design is more important than the manicure. I knew a few of my nails had to be filed down/ shaped... so that's the ONLY reason why I said ok to the manicure and he assured me I could get the design I showed him instead of painting my entire nail one color. I said how much would that be. He said $20. I said ok and showed him the designs once again. HERE'S where I realized he didn't speak good English... He grabbed some white polish and polished my whole pinky nail white. I said, wait it's supposed to be a design. He said "yea you want it white right?" I said huh and showed him the picture again. He literally said, "oh you want this design on your nails not something on top?" He confused me so much I thought I didn't speak English. So then he proceeds to go get nail polish remover, I said, "just leave the pinky as it is and let's start on the others." He moved on to my ring finger and the lines were crooked but I thought he was going to straighten them later (as I've seen in the past) they paint and then go over it with the nail polish remover brush and it takes off the excess color, etc. He did not do that. He left those lines crooked. So once he's done with the right hand, I look at it and it's horrible. I say, "you see that these lines are crooked and shaky right?" He says, "well this is hard!!" At this point I also notice that the white nail polish he's using says GEL POLISH! I say, "I also told you I didn't want gel, just regular polish!" He says, "you can't do designs with regular polish, ONLY GEL!" Sir what?! He's getting frustrated with me so he literally leaves and goes to look at something on his phone. I have no clue what's happening. He then asks his co-worker, the female tech that was there if she can come do a design. At this point it's looking like I'm going to be late for my next appointment. She says (with an attitude) "I'm checking someone out" I'm still just sitting here waiting. It's been like 7 mins of NOTHING happening. Then the black male nail tech comes and sits down. He says, "I'll finish up for you. Sorry about that." I said, "Yea that was wild, but can YOU do THIS design?" (Shows picture on my phone) He says, "Oh wow he couldn't do that? Yea I can do that!" I said cool, "you do designs all the time?" He like, "yea" Chile no, he was worst than the first guy!! I said, "Can you do a moon?" He said, "yea, I think so." He proceeds to draw something completely stupid looking and sooooo crooked on my left ring finger!! I also mentioned how my nail color was showing underneath he said "oh when it dries you won't see that" Also, right when he started I pointed to my left index finger and I say, "can you just do this one all white so it'll look like this pinky (on my right hand) was done on purpose?" He's like, "yep we can do that!" (Proceeds to put a design on my index finger!) The way he was holding my hand/ fingers, I could NOT tell what he was doing until after he was done. I said what happened to the nail being all white. He said "Oh yea, I'm gonna do that on the pinky so it match the other hand!" Bruh wtf?! Even the Black dude doesn't speak English??!! If I could give this shit NEGATIVE STARS.... I WOULD!!! Again, by this point I'm late af. I've had to call and tell my henna appt that I am going to be late (but this appt CANNOT BE MOVED so it just means I have less time for my henna appt so I had to get one hand and not two done! UPDATE! 11/22/2019 So as my review from previously stated, I had not had SNS done in a really long time. While I thought they did a good job, after my nail completely dried and a couple of days later, I noticed how lumpy it was and how terrible of a job the esthetician did. It makes sense now as to why it took him such a short amount of time. There was no one else there so I don't know why he wasn't deligent and patience with his work. I have gotten SNS many times since then and each time, the work takes at least 45 minutes. I'm not sure if they have improved or not, but I guess you'll have to take the word from more recent reviewers. read more

I booked an appointment online 1 week ago, even received a reminder text message this morning, but when I arrived the shop was closed. I called later on, but they didn't seem to really care or be sorry for their mistake. They asked if I wanted to come later, but the only person available was the girl that messed up my nails last time. My nails were different lengths, different shapes, different thickness, etc. last time so I declined. I should have said something about my nails last time I was there, but I was just too tired and frustrated and it took forever. I left at almost 8pm and my appointment was at 6pm. The two times before that I booked appointments at this place, the tech I booked with just wasn't there. If this happens once, no biggie, but two times and then today?! If you are not able to respect your customers time, I am done and will take my business elsewhere! read more

Come here!! Can't recommend enough. They were so professional and accommodating, despite me coming in at 7pm (they closed at 8pm.) Such kind and welcoming service. They made sure multiple times that I was happy with my nails, confirming if I liked the length, shape, color etc. I was so impressed. The shop is beautiful too. They're new, so I got 25% off of my gel mani and pedi. This has to be one of the best nail shops in the area. Th only reason this gets one star is bc the gentleman did an amazing job on my gel pedicure. Before I take you on this journey of the worst experience at a nail salon in all of Atlanta, I'll say that I did not catch the employees name but she's the only one without a Vietnamese accent and works at booth #4. She's very condescending and unwelcoming and I hope someone in her family helps her realize she's not Black --tf. ANYWAY the woman (describes above) who did my SNS nails is an imbecile. First and most importantly, she punctured my skin on my pointer finger with a nail file. Let me put that in other words SHE FILED MY NAIL SO HARD IT BROKE SKIN. She say there as it bled and said nothing until I pulled my finger away in excruciating pain. She did not apologize, address nor acknowledge the wound. When I finally pulled my finger away for the last time, she proceeded to try to hush me and act like it was nothing going on. I continued on IN CLEAR PAIN while she finished my nails. She sneakingly put SUPER GLUE on the open wound without sanitizing the area. I asked her what she just put on my finger and she tried to ignore me bc she knew it was wrong to do. I then asked her louder -- she said "ohh just a liquid bandaid". SUPER GLUE AND A BANDAID ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!!!!! When I addressed her, she began to argue with me about it and deflecting from the fact that she just punctured my fingers and put super glue on an unsanitized open wound. The more insignificant issue is that she lied about being able to do designs (see photos for reference). These design was very poorly executed. I literally had to walk her through it and I'm not even a nail tech. My nails look like trash and she needs to stop acting like she can do more than she really can. I will never allow her to touch my hands or my body again. She is incompetent and an idiot. And if anything happens to me medically from this super glue/nail glue, I will be suing this salon for every penny it's worth. read more

I randomly saw this place last Friday while I was at the post office across the street and decided to give it a try. It was very clean and the staff was nice, so I had high expectations. Anyway, I got my usual gel manicure and a pedicure. While getting my nails done, the lady told me that they were having the grand opening the following Wednesday and I should come back to have my nails done again then so I could get 20% off. Umm that should have been my red flag then. Like hello, I am here before your grand opening -- why not offer me the discount that day? I am not coming back Wednesday given my gel manicure should last two weeks. So, I totally got why she said that. My first nail chipped the very next day -- and then they continued to chip until finally all of my gel polish was off not even a week later. I find this extremely frustrating. I pay for a gel manicure so it will last 2 weeks. So, basically I paid for a gel, but got a regular polish manicure for a $30. Maybe if they had better gel brands like OPI, Gelish, or Essie my manicure would have lasted longer? The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because like I said above it was very clean and the staff was friendly. For me though I will not be returning because I felt like I wasted money - plain and simple. read more

I really hate to write a negative review but I have been in pain for more than 24 hours due to the young woman who did my nails. It must have been her first time doing SNS. She drilled my nails so thin that they began to burn. There is literally a small scab on every one of my cuticles because she hit me with the drill so many times. when she went to file between the nail and skin she drew blood there too. I had been here before and had been worked on by the owner and she was great but this girl is really going to hurt someone. The worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I popped in for a pedicure back in June just prior to a surgical procedure I was having on my foot. I knew I wouldn't be able to do a pedicure for a while after that so was desperately looking for a nice clean place that could do a last minute pedicure for me. There was only one review on Yelp when I chose this place, but I'm glad I did. Tracy was great. I was literally the only person in there so got to have a fun conversation and learn more about Vietnam and their culture. I asked if they used a razor or cheese grater but she said I didn't need it. Although she said I didn't need it, she still went and got the cheese grater from the sanitizer and did my feet. The only reason that a star was taken away was because she received a phone call in the middle of the pedicure and not only answered it, but stayed on. She was still on when I paid and left. Anyway, I would go back if I were in a bind. My normal place is in Norcross and my girl is only available on Sundays. So it's nice to know there's some place near home that I can trust and am happy with. read more

Pretty much the worst nail place on the planet. The first time I went the manager Tracy worked on my nails and she did a good job, even though it took a while. I left a nice cash tip. A week later one of my nails broke off, and they refused to do my repair when I went back in. In fact, they didn't even greet me. Not even a hello. And they were all just sitting there in the pedicure chairs staring. Moments later, a white woman walks in with no appt, and they all rush to greet her with smiles and immediately begin her service. They still haven't greeted me, mind you. The manager claimed it was because she had to go, and that of the four employees there, she was the only one who could do acrylic (in 2019, folks). I also needed a pedicure, and she finally let me get that service, handing me off to a guy I have seen practicing learning how to do nails on a mannequin hand. So of course his service was subpar, and another woman had to step in at the end to finish it, and she was pretty annoyed at that, blaming me of course. He had filed my nails in different shapes and left pieces hanging, painted over them, and touched my wet nail polish with his fingers- twice! None of them listened to what I was saying, none of them spoke English very well, and it slowly became one of the worse nail experiences I have had- and I've had some bad ones. Still, I tipped. The next day I tried to book an appt with the mgr to do this one nail repair the next day and she refused, stating that the guy said I was difficult? He was still learning how to do nails and he did a crappy job and I am difficult? I had to coach him through a basic pedicure service and I was difficult? I kept having to tell her that I was happy with the work she did and I just wanted her to repair a nail that I had broken, and she refused. Some places just don't want 'our' money. read more

I've been going here for a few months and reader, it's best to find a new salon. I get SNS and the work done at this salon is spotty at best. My last manicure was too long, the SNS bubbled, and I had asked for a manicure but the technician either ignored me or didn't listen. He said it was too late for a manicure now even though I had asked for SNS and a manicure at the beginning. Because he didn't trim down my nails at all, they started breaking within the week. Fast forward to the last time I went (one week ago now), the technician HURT me at least three times - I said OUCH and had to pull my hand back because he was dremmelling my actual nails nearly down to the bed. The manicure looked great until 3 days later, my index nail (including my natural nail below the SNS) BROKE IN HALF. I have to wear medical tape on my nail so it can grow out as there is blood in the horizontal crack across the nail. Also within the first week of this latest manicure, the other index finger SNS started lifting near my cuticle. Reader, my nails are on the short side and I work at a desk all day. There is no reason the SNS I got done a week ago should be lifting at the cuticle. I thought about going back to get these nails fixed but it would be a.) EXTREMELY painful as my nailbed is wounded and b.) based on reviews here, they wouldn't agree to fix it any how. On a side note, I tend to go the same day of the week for my visits and I have never seen the same employees here - I don't know if they have staffing or turn over issues but the best manicures I had here were from people who don't work here anymore and I'm not willing to give any of their other staff a chance after what they've done to my nails. read more

Just left from getting my nails done and I never leave yelp reviews but felt responsible for warning people. They did a terrible job and didn't care at all about what they were doing. I tried sns for the first time which the guy recommended. He did my two hands completely different. They paint part and dip it in a powder and should layer it that way. He painted the tip and dipped it once on one hand which and didn't at all on the other. He then dipped and painted two fingers twice and 3 painted once and dipped twice which makes no sense since it didn't pick up an extra layer. The other hand he didn't do the tip and painted and dipped once only and proceeded to bump my thumb and make a big hole in the polish, I showed him and he said he'd fix it but didn't. Based upon the difference, my nails are different colors, lengths, weight, and shape. This isn't an accident it's just flat out not paying any attention or caring to do a treatment properly. Please stay away and go somewhere else. They were also rude from the moment I walked in and the guy doing my nails had to leave the person he was working on because her toes were two different lengths and shapes. Maybe hat guy just needs to be given a different position but it's not excusable to charge price for an incomplete service and uneven nails. read more
