After a few unpleasant experiences at other aestheticians in Atlanta I was referred to Lane by a friend, and I've since referred a few friends to her as well! I've been visiting Lane for the past 6-7 years for all my waxing needs (because she's awesome- love this lady!), & followed Lane to her new endeavor with Elite Beauty Bar- it's been fantastic watching her build her own business from the ground up! Generally, my skin is sometimes sensitive to certain products, but the product lines here are great (hard wax- no strips) and I've never had any issues. Yes, waxing hurts but Lane uses techniques and products that manages to make the pain pretty minimal. Elite Beauty Bar is located in one of the ground level business spaces of West Inman Lofts at the edge of Inman Park/O4W. I have never had any trouble finding a street parking spot on Airline St, but Lane tells me there are also guest parking spots in the building parking garage. The salon waiting area & reception space is open and clean, with shelves of mostly retail products for sale and smaller rooms for the beauty & waxing services. The website allows for easy online appointment booking 24/7. Lane takes such care in her services, and with the products that she offers on the retail side of the business so that she is offering the best products that she stands behind (& many of them are locally sourced and from female-owned suppliers!) Ask Lane about the eyelash products- there are overwhelming numbers of options out there but the one Lane recommended is amazing- it transformed my lashes (from having none to having some!). WOW! Just WOW! If I could give Lane 10 stars I would! I never imagined that getting my eyebrows waxed could be such a great experience! So to preface, I HATE getting my eyebrows done. Like completely dread it and end up putting it off until I have caveman brows. I have very sensitive skin and I hate having hands (or anything really) close to my face. Like I tear up at the dentist. It's weird, I know, I don't know why, but it has always been a thing for me. I had an event this past weekend and was way overdue for a waxing. We discussed my concerns and goals, and she recommended me a few products to try.
