Some places make their dips too chunky, leaving your nails looking like Chiclets! The color of the dip turned out exactly as I wanted. Tom did my pedicure, and I will 100% request him again. He did a fabulous job on my toes, and his foot massage was everything--just what my tired feet needed. Both my manicure and pedicure look professional, and I will definitely be back. This place is bad news and discriminates against the disabled and elderly I am a 65.year old disabled woman confined to awheelchair, I have a doctor next door so it was convenient, two weeks ago I decided to walk in for a quick manicure, when I rolled in the owner looked panicked, I told him I wanted a manicure and that is when he told me they could not help me because they were not "trained" to do it on someone like me, at that point a manicurist rolled up and started to work on my left hand which curls inward,so it is harder but not impossible, the owner told her she could only do one hand because of my "condition" I paid for a full manicure and got a half this was very demeaning and I left angry, today I went back to complain and to educate him about the Americans with disabilities Act (ADA) which requires that all businesses make accommodations for the disabled, this time I spoke to the manager who was equally ignorant and discriminatoryhe said they had the right to refuse service to anyone, I told him I didnt think he did, do NOT give this place your business, they do not deserve it!! read more

I usually use the same person at this salon but she was off today. LEE did my nails. I showed her a picture what i wanted. She pulled out a pink colored acrylic powder. I was confused but thought maybe she knew something i didn't. As we got closer to the end i realized that the color would actually turn out blush pink. Once i saw this i asked her not to do the French on top because the color she used would look terrible. I also didn't ask her to take it all off because I was pressed for time. When it was time to pay she charged me for colored powdered. When i asked her for the break down and why the cost was so much. MADE A RESERVATION AND STILL HAD TO WAIT + CUT TOE... i made a reservation a week in advance because it always seems hectic in there. i saw that this place had pretty good reviews so i was interested in trying it out. upon walking in, it's decorated nicely and very spacious. everything is fairly clean and there are some plastic screens, but not everywhere. i came right on time to my appointment and had to wait 30 minutes. they said they would be with us shortly and said there was a shortage in staff. i would be more understanding if i was a walk in, but having a reservation seemed pointless since i had to wait. after 30 minutes we finally got our pedicures started. one of the lady's was rushing through the pedicure and didnt take her time. consequently, she cut my moms toe causing her to bleed. she was very sorry about it, but could have been avoided if she wasnt in such a big hurry. the service was lacking quite a lot and was disappointed that they didnt even make an effort to include a discount of some sort due to cutting a customers toe. i probably will not come back here due to this experience. read more

I can't say anything bad about the nails that they do there. I've been three times, and my nails have always been good. However, today I decided to get my brows done here instead of my usual brow bar, due to convenience. Big mistake! I hadn't had my brows done in months and they were fully grown in; this woman had a fully blank canvas to work with and she butchered my eyebrows. Each eyebrow is different. One is shorter than the other, one is super straight. My eyebrows grow in very full and she kept commenting about how much I had to work with, then slaughtered them. She kept asking me if I liked them. I honestly just told her yes so that I wouldn't burst into tears. If I said no what could she do? You can't put hair back on eyebrows. Now I have to wait until they grow all the way back in so that someone can fix them. The woman that did my nails and eyebrows sits on the right side towards the back. Nancy always makes me feel like a new woman with her professional and thorough attention. I always get the top end pedicure and practically melt in the chair. I take my own OPI polish as I like to be able to do touchups at home if I chip or break a nail. Some shops seem to shun anyone that isn't getting a gel or dip, but not Lifestyle/Nancy! The shop is always spotlessly clean, the vibe is relaxed, the chairs are comfortable and the massage feature works well. The location is great as I can enjoy lunch at any number of restaurants in the plaza or pop into Whole Foods 365 on the way home. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. I came into Lifestyle Nail Bar on a Friday afternoon without an appointment and was seen immediately. The salon was very clean and inviting with a new and modern look. The latest hits were playing through bluetooth which was a nice touch. I came in for a pedicure service and had plenty of options to choose from. They offer luxury pedicures as well as herbal ones. The herbal pedicures incorporate herbal exfoliating scrubs in 6 different varieties (lemongrass, rosemary, green tea, eucalyptus, chamomile, or lavender). I chose the Regular Herbal Pedicure using lemongrass($32) with a hot stone massage add on($7). My pedicure was relaxing but not very thorough. I feel like I could've gotten a better job if done by someone else. The cuticle trim, pumice scrub, and exfoliating portion of the pedicure felt rushed. The hot stone massage was lacking as well. The stones were barely warm and the massage was lackluster. I usually leave the nail salon with my feet feeling baby soft and brand new but not this time, I feel like I just got a polish change and not much more. I'll definitely be back to give them another try but I'll be more particular about who I let do my nail service. read more

Alright. So I had been coming here religiously since January 2021 after a previous stop in November. I came about every 4 weeks for SNS on natural nails. And at the time, I did love my nails. I thought they were so beautiful. But I've been getting SNS done for 3 years now, and until I began going to Lifestyle, I had never had a nail break. That all changed unfortunately. While it's true that they do a beautiful job, the nails just do not last. I have broken so many nails in so many painful ways. I just cannot risk going back to Lifestyle because chances are I will end up getting a manicure that ends up hurting me. My beautiful vampy Halloween nails I wrote about before? Yeah, the entire SNS popped off on one finger and took half of my nail with it. I screamed out loud when it happened. I didn't mention it in my previous review because I had never had a nail break before and I figured it could happen to anyone so I wasn't going to hold it against them. However, time has proven to me that this is not an unusual thing. I grew out my nails for my brother's wedding and I experienced a brutal nail break, split right down the middle in the nail bed. It was excruciating. I drove to Lifestyle and they kindly trimmed it and sealed it with acrylic for me so that the nail wouldn't move while it grew out. Due to the nature of the break, the wound wasn't cleansed before they sealed it, so my dried blood was visibly sealed under my nail. It took a month for the break to grow out. Three weeks after the first split, I broke the nail of the same finger on the opposite hand just by picking something off the floor. It also split down the middle, and this time I had to desperately drive to random salons crying and begging them to seal my nail with acrylic because the nail was dangling off the nail bed and bleeding profusely and Lifestyle had already closed for the day. I honestly should have gone to urgent care. Thinking perhaps I had brought it upon myself for growing out my nails too long, I switched to keeping my nails at a short length. Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue. My nails would bend in awful horribly painful ways when doing menial household tasks like putting sheets on my bed or washing dishes, which made the SNS lift. I had a cute 4th of July design done and the star appliqués they used began peeling off almost right away so that by the time I had my nails done I had little silver nubs left of the original stars. I had a pink manicure with rhinestones done, and I lost both of the rhinestones within a week and a half. Then somehow my pinky nail broke. As I mentioned before I have been getting my nails done with SNS for years and I've never experienced anything like that. I have no idea if it's the products they are using or if it's their techniques. My best guess is that the SNS is being applied way too thin and this is why the nails break like that. They have also recently experienced a massive surge in popularity. I think they went viral on social media and now they are constantly packed. They have hired several new artists who do complex and intricate designs, and they share the posts online. You used to be able to walk in, but recently when I attempted to do so the wait was 2 hours long. So I know they will not miss my business, but I really cannot afford to keep putting myself in harm's way by getting manicures that break or just simply don't last. I am sad because I did love coming here and feeling pampered but I can't do this to myself anymore and need to find a new place to go where I don't have to worry about getting hurt. read more

I came here to get my nails done, and they deadass got something charged up their ass. As I was deciding they told me my nails would be 84 and started doing it I was okay with that. They did as they were doing my toes I asked the price, she told me that it's 5 dollars for gel and base for the breakdown but when I asked for the full price she basically added 20 dollars extra for the full thing. I asked her and she corrected herself and tried to explain the 20 dollars extra. Than for my nails, he was talking to a girl and she was doing the math and it kept getting confusing. I asked him to do my nail shape a specific way and he messed it up and when I kept asking him to fix it nicely, it was still incorrect. Frustrated I left it, they asked me for my nail color, I asked them for TWO specific colors and they kept telling me they didn't have it. Frustrated after he set the nails and she did the pedicure halfway, I said I didn't want it anymore. He left rudely, and the foot lady was nice trying to salvage the situation. A lady than informed me the prices and stuff which was totally new to me, cause they told me for nails a set price was different than what they kept quoting me. He came back cause I decided to just get my nails done and he finished it up. I kept looking at my nails and couldn't believe how much he messed up my shape after I showed him a picture and gave him a specific instruction, he than upped the price from 56-57 and than they charged me for a full price for my pedicure. Even though they had done it halfway and only put the clear coat. Somehow my total became 108, annoyed I gave them a 10 dollar tip to be nice and decided I will NEVER come again. This experience made me relazie I never wanna go to a nail salon again. Once I was going to pay as well, they showed me a tiny white piece of paper line on the table that showed they do not take American Express, so I had to pay with my card I never intended to pay with. The charge of 108 for my nails which were in horrible shape and toes half way done is CRAZY. The only reason this place is getting two stars if for the toe lady who tried to salvage my bad day. The worst part is he had a full on tantrum after I had a tantrum for having a bad day for this nail shape. I didn't intend to waste his time or be rude towards him I just couldn't believe what was going on and had a breakdown. I never want to come back here again!!! I ah e been here many times for a pedicure and they have always been fine. Today, I came in for one and was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes which was no problem. At 20 minutes, they brought me back to a chair and let me sit there for another 25 minutes. No acknowledgment, no foot soaking, nothing. When I realized that no one was coming to take care of me, I put my shoes back on and got up to leave. I told the guy at reception that I had another appointment and couldn't wait any longer all he could say was she should be finished soon. But it was never directly towards me until when my sister went to get her nails/pedicure done June 11. Bob did her nails and is a friend of my sister and I. We love bob and he does GREAT nails. There were two workers sitting next to her and talked inappropriately about her.. thinking she couldn't understand them. Me and my partner stumbled across Lifestyle Nail Bar recently, and decided to check it out. First of all, parking was easy to find - always a plus in my book! There are also a number of dining options within walking distance, so you could easily do a lunch/nail date with your partner or friend. Upon walking into the salon, we were pleased to find that it was very spacious and relaxing. They are taking COVID precautions seriously, and we felt very comfortable in terms of safety. It doesn't have that chemical smell that nail salons can sometimes have, and there is a nice range of services and color options to pick from. We ended up selecting one of the spa pedicures that included a hot stone massage. The staff were extremely attentive, and the technicians did a fabulous job. All in all, we had a great experience and will definitely be back to Lifestyle Nail Bar soon! read more

So I found this adorable nail salon and decided to visit on my lunch break for a gel pedicure. Since there wasn't anyone else, I got serviced immediately and was even offered a drink. I said no of course cause....work. The individual who did my feet was very thourough as the process took over 50 min. I only did a basic white gel and didn't have anything added to the treatment. Thinking that the prices would be "typical" for this service I assumed it would be no more that $35. It was a whole $60. Now, if I got a scrup or mask or additional service, I would have understood. But $60 for a gel pedicure that only lasted a week and 3 days, is not a good value.Honestly I should have asked for the price upfront but for the time and results, I get better service elsewhere. The second time I was too, but it hasn't even been two weeks and both of my nails have broken off on both hands. Unfortunately the gel polish peeled over night and I had to come back the next morning to get them fixed.
