I booked a specific service for my 12-year-old daughter and took time to clarify over the phone exactly what I wanted done. Upon arrival, I once again clarified to Rocio that I only wanted some polish on my daughter's toes and a manicure for her, while another very skillful technician worked with me. That's all I wanted. Nothing more. Rocio worked with my daughter at her desk while I was steps away receiving my own service. She then walked with my daughter to the pedicure area. She asked my daughter -- a 12-year-old -- if she wanted a full pedicure, and proceeded to provide a far more expensive service I had already declined twice. If she had any questions, I was right there, a few steps away. She could have easily asked me to confirm. Instead, she provided the service she wanted to provide and charged it without my authorization. I asked Rocio directly if she had received the order placed over the phone, and she confirmed she had received the details -- that is, just nail polish on the toes. By the time I noticed, Rocio was half done. I told her that was not the service I had ordered, and she acted like she didn't care, responding that it was what my daughter wanted -- after confirming to my face that she had received the order details in the first place. She did not apologize, did not offer to discontinue, did not offer a partial refund. Nothing. And on top of taking advantage of me, the work itself was horrible -- my daughter's toes look really bad. The total cost for my service and my daughter's came to $214.24. Not many people would be happy to pay this hefty amount for the service received From Rocio. This is the kind of attitude that makes a business drown. This place survives because of its very kind, committed manager and a superb technician named Kay. Always ask for Kay. Why do I like her? Because she respects the client, does what the client asks for, and does it to the best standards with a great attitude. With the exception of the manager, Kay, and a couple of other technicians, people in this business have so much to learn from her. Rocio and Marisol, here is my advice: start taking notes from Kay -- and stop getting upset if you don't get the tip you were expecting. You simply don't deserve it. read more

I've been seeing Lindy for over 5 years. She's amazing at nails and the only reason I've continued coming here. Unfortunately, the business itself is terribly run and going downhill. At my most recent visit, the owner was present and a sign was posted stating a "convenience fee" would be charged for credit card payments. I asked if I could use my debit card (not a credit card), and was told no. I pointed out that this kind of fee should be communicated ahead of time, at booking or confirmation, so customers can plan accordingly. This isn't the first time either. When prices were raised previously, there was no notice given. Same owner. Same lack of communication. When I mentioned this as a basic customer service suggestion, the owner literally shrugged. That kind of dismissive attitude says everything. If it weren't for Lindy's professionalism and talent, I would never return. She deserves better, and so do her clients. read more

Great experience on my first visit to this salon! I needed a last minute booking for gel manicure and regular pedicure and they were able to get me in without a problem! The salon is very clean and they offer you drinks and snacks while you wait which is very nice. The lady who took care of me was fantastic, so much so that I made a second appointment with her and have basically considered leaving my usual nail lady. Also a huge plus, it's super easy to get in and out of the shopping center that it's located in, which I truly appreciate. Definitely recommend! read more

As I had recent shoulder surgery I was unable to do my own nails as my right arm was not allowed to use my right arm and had it in an immobilizer sling. So, I made an appointment with Posh Nails. Upon arrival I found Posh Nails to appear exceptionally having a new up to date equipment along with a good pleasant to the eye décor. It also had an enviably good location in a newer structure with plenty of free parking adjacent to a Fresh Market. As soon as I entered the person behind the front desk seemed to know who I was and said "I get someone," but with no hello or any sort of greeting. She did get someone but without introducing who this someone was merely said "go with her." However I first had to take off my arm immobilizer which is a real chore with all sorts of straps. I sort of thought one of them would offer to help or at least let me know where I should put it while having my nails cut. But no, no offer of assistance or a word of help. After getting out of my arm immobilizer I went with the "someone" the desk girl had assigned me to but failed to introduce. As she started with my toes it didn't take long to discover that the "someone" and I seemed to have a communications problem in that "someone" wasn't very proficient in English. She was however, very good at doing what she did as far as the pedicure and manicure of my nails. When my feet were finish I was to put on my shoes. Unfortunately as a side effect of certain blood pressure drugs my feet were somewhat swollen so I asked for a shoe horn. After a lot of talk and hand signs in getting someone to understand exactly what a shoe horn was, I found I could have saved myself the effort. They didn't have one which for a place wherein people are constantly taking off their shoes seems a little weird. The "someone" did a good job on my finger nails then merely said "finish" and left. I thought she was coming back but she didn't. Maybe come back for a tip or to say goodbye. Finally one of the manicurists at another table told me to go up front and pay. When I went up front I had to collect and put on my arm immobilizer. For some silly reason I had thought the desk lady might say something or offer to help but no. She just continued with a blank stare into space. Then when I did pay and was about to leave, there was no goodbye, no inquiry of whether I was pleased with their services or an offer to make a future appointment. The unfriendliness of Posh Nails really bothered me. I just don't like dealing with nameless people, or having no name better than "someone." It just rendered the entire experience uncomfortable. Whether it was just me, them or whatever, I'll never know as I never intend to ever go back. read more

My friend got me a gift certificate for my birthday to Posh Nails. Us girls always like to get our nails did! I read through the reviews and based on commentary made my appointment with Tevin. The salon is next to Fresh Market near Commercial hidden off to the right. I am very unaware of my surroundings, because as many times as I have been in this shopping plaza I have never noticed the salon. The salon is nice, modern with bright white decor. Our daughter decided she wanted to come with me to get her nails done so I opted for just a gel polish since she likes to play hard. They were able to squeeze her in last minute. She sat down first after she picked out a glittery blue. I watched for a few minutes before I was seated in the pedicure chair. Tevin was great and had a good personality. The massage chair was awesome and worked quite well. There were two adjustable side tables so I had my Starbucks on one side, and my purse sitting on the other. I did a regular pedicure first. Tevin did a nice massage and scrub. He painted my nails really well and thoroughly too. Next, I got a gel manicure. He cleaned up my very un-manicured fingers very nice. I absolutely love the color I got! He made sure each time I put my fingers in the right place under the UV light so they didn't crack or chip. I like meticulous and attention to detail kind of people! I really enjoyed my experience. One of my daughters nails chipped that night. I couldn't tell you if it was her fault, or her tech wasn't as on top of where her finger placement was like in my experience, but I simply called the salon and they fixed it for us that day. We were satisfied with the customer service. When I initially called, I asked if I could tip on my card, but when it was time to pay I was shown a sign and told that going forward I need to have cash. This is always super difficult. If you are like me, we live in a world of plastic cards whether it be debit or credit. I don't really know anyone who carries cash unless they are going on vacation or something. It doesn't change my opinion, but it adds a little inconvenience for me stopping at the bank as one more thing to do. Gift certificates expire in 90 days from the day they were bought. I would totally go back to see Tevin, and if Lauren comes again she will be going to him too! read more

Got a manicure/pedicure and the nails were done very sloppily (streaking, top coat dragged on wet nail polish creating gaps, and parts of nails not even covered in polish.) Policy is no refunds but I refuse to spend anymore time going back to a place that did such a terrible job to have them "fix" it. read more

The best nail salon I've ever been to--seriously. The salon is impeccably clean, and all equipment is sterile, taken fresh from a bag when used. The salon manager is very pleasant, accommodating, and well organized. My gel nails lasted three weeks without a chip, which has NEVER happened to me before. I like how they keep the gel at the top of your nails relatively thin so it doesn't bubble up and peel after a week. Highly recommend! read more

With a name like Posh, I was expecting it to be high end. The prices certainly were high, but the overall value was low. They don't offer you anything to drink like other salons do. The nail technician I had barely spoke English and didn't really interact with me whatsoever. I don't think I'd ever go back because there are far better other options with better prices. read more

I waited to write a review here because when it comes to gel nails I need to make sure they would last and not crack or chip. I am happy to say that I am very happy with the results I got at this location. Nails have lasted now over a week and a half. Yes, it's time to come back. The place was very busy, lots of people waiting on the couch but even with the amount of people I was seated within 15 minutes. I did not have a reservation and it was my first time so no idea who to ask for. With that said I did not get seated at a 'normal' table. I was seated in the back on a high counter sort of a bar area. At first I was skeptical but I have to say I was very pleased with the results and still am. From what I was told no one in the Salon has a set place. Everyone rotates as needed so it keeps the customers not having to wait a long time. Everyone carries this cute cases with all their own materials so they can be mobile. I'm looking forward to going back and getting a pedi/mani this time. Very pleased... read more

I made an appointment for 12 pm to fix 2 broken nails. I wasn't helped until 12:40, which I understand it is holiday time and nail salons get busy. The part that upset me is when I had my nails fixed, my technician was extremely rude. It made for an absolutely awful experience. He left the two nails that he fixed for me shaped differently from the other ones and super THICK. My nails also broke within one week of me getting them done. (The first time) I just feel uncomfortable when coming here, and I won't be back. If I could give 0 stars I would. Poor service!!! If you want to throw your money away this is the place for you. I had my nails done by Cindy. She dipped my fingers and gel on my toes. 2 days later the dip started to lift off my fingers. I called and explained I was out of town and the receptionist graciously made an appointment for repair the following week by upon my return. When I arrived for my appointment the owner Courtney stated there was no appointment scheduled for me. She also stated that I'd be responsible for the cost to fix my nails due to the length of time that had passed. Even though she admitted that Cindy applied the polish too thin, she would not repair free of charge. By this time I'd lost 5 nails. I did expect all the nails to be redone because I'd already lost 5, how could I expect the other 5 would survive the improperly applied dip. As I'm sure you know a dip polish should last a minimum of 2 weeks not 2 days. I regret the generous tip I gave Cindy for Christmas. And I will not be returning. I urge you not to as well. Buyer beware. Courtney for the future to satisfy your customers, I hope you'll sleep on this and realize your poor customer service decision. You really should support your customers...not take their money and run. read more

Made an appointment over the phone. Specifically told them I wanted a Halloween design. They said ok and scheduled an appointment. I moved some stuff around so I could be there on time. I get there, wait about five minutes. Explain to the girl at the front what colors I want. No problem. I go to sit in the chair, and the girl tells me she can't do designs, just color. Wtf?? I drove all the way out there and even specified on the phone what I wanted. I think they were just assuming I'd just get a color. No way. I said, "thanks but no thanks". They said the guy who could do the design could fit me in the next day at 6pm. I said fine. Once I got in my car, I googled another nail place, called, and they said come on in. This place did an amazing job!!! So although I can't speak about the quality of work at this place, I can say I won't be back because of the experience I had. After response: the nail tech told me she could only do colors. NO design, even simple. And yea, I couldn't answer the phone because I went to another place because I didn't feel like waiting a whole day and going in at 6pm on a Friday night.
