They got me in quickly and were accommodating of my service animal. I cannot say I was super happy with the out come of how the dip I choose came out. I can say that they are strong on my fingers. The reason I can't give 5 stars is that the thumb nails both broke the second I got in my car and turned out of the parking lot. Literally just cleaning the bottom off of another nail and Blam it broke. They never got shiny either. They have stayed matte no matter even if I put clear shiny on them. I have never had this happen before. Luckily I have dip at home and filled in the broken park with a similar green and made it work. It's nit as pretty but oh well. The lady was very nice and understood english ok. Maybe better than I could tell. I don't speak Vietnamese so I can't communicate very well either. I won't be back. read more

So, I went in for a full set and pedi. Pedi looks fine. Weirdly rounded filing though. I was there from 11:30 am until 1:45 pm. But, I did walk in so I'll give them that. They weren't busy at all though. Shape of full set was 8 out of 10. Ombre was as I asked for. Overall, for a not hygienic salon. It shouldn't have been $95.00 for a plain pedi and ok nails. No autoclave, no one use items, just kinda borderline, maybe I should go somewhere else, but I was there and I'm lazy. So I stayed. After the nail oil dried up. Omg. Ugh. read more

STAR AND WAYNE NO LONGER OWN THIS PLACE!! It has come under new ownership but they kept the name. I am beyond disappointed by the (lack of) quality of service I received, AND the prices have gone up significantly. This is hands down the worst pedicure I've ever gotten, and the gel manicure is terrible. I'll be shocked if it lasts a week. Walked in today expecting Wayne and Snow. I was there a couple of weeks ago. They weren't there. All new people. When doing my manicure she cut my cuticle and couldn't get it to stop bleeding. Wanye and Snow are amazing!! Definitely the best manicure I've ever gotten. I get the gel polish and it consistently lasts 3-4 weeks without chipping or peeling. They both take their time and make sure they are providing you with the best service. Wayne and Snow uphold their standards by only providing services themselves and not hiring any other technicians. Because of this, they are appointment only and sometimes it is hard to find one. As long as you call ahead, you can find a time though! BEWARE!!! Snow and Wayne were my go to people for years!! This place recently came under new ownership and they are no longer here. I just got back from the worst two hour color change... yes I only got a color change on my nails and it took two hours... and it's the sloppiest work I have ever seen. I tried to ask them to fix things and they just acted as if they didn't know what I meant and got frustrated with me. I love this place. Being pregnant I didn't want that awful smell that most nail salons have. So I was glad I came across this business. No nasty smell at all. I made an appointment an advance because I can no longer see or reach my feet. I was greeted with a friendly smile and warm water running for my pedicure. The foot message was fabulous and relaxing. I could have taken a nap. I love their color selection. It was hard to pick one at first. But with a wedding coming up, I figured why not do something to match my outfit. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They argued with me that there was no nail polish on my nails when I came in. (There was). They wouldn't just remove it. They tried to buff it off unsuccessfully. After four tries, they admitted I was right but still never removed it. Just painted over it. The whole experience was trash. They painted over a bristle from their nail brush and just left it in my nail. The lady promised me half off for my trouble but still charged me full price at the end. I'll never be back. read more

*YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT* You might get lucky with a walk in during the day in the winter but call them. They have a generic vm set up and will call you back. This place is well worth it and is literally the only place I will go get my nails done. It's about a 25-30 minute drive for me and I've been coming for over a year. Not only is it half of what I've had to pay at larger salons but Snow and Wayne do an amazing job, take their time and have so much pride in their work. I have never been able to keep gel or shellac on my nails for more than a week and here I can go 4 without having any peeling or cracking. The salon is extremely clean and you usually have a lot of peace and quiet because there are only two people here at once. With a pedicure you have the massage chairs and clay and sugar scrub along with lotion. I recommend this place to everyone. It's unfortunate that the negative reviews are all comments on not being able to walk in... almost every review tells you to make an appointment. I will NOT be returning. Was previously excited to try this place based on location, hours and reviews. However they can't run a simple business and inform the customers appropriately. They do not open on sundays at 10am even though that is what is listed online. I showed up at 10:45am and the door was open so I walked in. The owner informed me they didn't open for 20 minutes. I immediately tried to show him how online it says on Sunday they open at 11. He assured me they don't open for 20 minutes.....okay I can accept that. I got a sitter for my three kids (currently 7 months pregnant), and just wanted an hour to soak my swollen feet. I go across the street and get some groceries while I wait for them to open. I come back at 11:10 and there is someone in a chair and he tells me they are "appointments only and booked for the day" EXCUSE ME....sir, why didn't you tell me that when I was here before???? Just to have me come back and be told that. He said "I left too quickly". Untrue, I stood there and tried to explain to him their hours were incorrect online and he had the time and breath to tell me they didn't open for 20 minutes TWICE. Why on earth, as a business owner would you not inform me at that time you are appointment only. Just to have my very pregnant self waddle back to your door to be turned away. Without Wayne & Snow this place is trash. New owner may be okay, but the hired help has no clue. The place looks clean, but not so much. Nail dust all over the equipment and tech's do not use clean tools. No one wipes up behind the previous customer. After all of this the hired tech's do not seem to know how to render the service as advertised. I went to The Nail Place for my first pedicure. The employees are very friendly. The leg and foot massages were wonderful. All tools were kept in a beaker of antiseptic solution and they wear gloves. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because you have to call ahead and make an appointment, and even with one you may have to wait because there are only 2 people who work there.
