Preface- I hate giving low start scores!!! And I love supporting a solid, respectable small biz. Go elsewhere. Period. I am giving this place a shot today, just because I am leaving town tomorrow and my piggies are hideous!! Some, not all, have stripped themselves naked, little perverts! I'll just live review....I walked in, no one is at the counter up front. I make eye contact with a woman doing a pedi, she ignores me. So I peek around for another Bemployee. Mind you he says nothing to me first, but I tell him I'd like a pedi and he kinda grunts and gestures to back area. I timidly walk around this wall to the back room that has about 20 pedi chairs. There are 6 other guests sitting in chairs....2 workers. This does not bode well. I was waived toward a chair not really told what to do or anything, but I go stand new a pedi chair and someone tells me to sit. I out my feet in an empty basin and wait. Someone comes over and starts water that begins cold and ends up being the temperature of the sun! So I pull my feet out. I sit like this for a couple minutes wud wrong what the hell is happening. Now, I've been here for about 10 min and there are 2 other women still ahead of me....both look pissed. I can tel they have been sitting here for a long time and they are over it. So....now I wait....oh good....the person next to me has put their phone on speaker. Just what we all want in public. Classy. 20 min....still waiting. 30 min.....still waiting. I'd leave, but I really need them done!!! I'm next. 40....still. Waiting. 46 min....in theory I'm next. I've literally sat in this chair SO long that my hip hurts from this angle and my toes are prunes. Never coming back. It could be the best pedi of my life and I'd never come back. It's also worth noting, there is a line of newer, nicer spa chairs, but they aren't seating people in them. We are all in these gross, old chairs with the vinyl surface falling from the material backing 56 minutes....they had to change my water because it's cold. I extra don't love that she just coughed without covering her face. Fun times. Yes, she apologized for the wait. Yes, I do realize it's not her fault and I could have left. But why keep seating more and more people?! That's just bad business. And angrily yelling at one another across the salon in Vietnamese? Cantonese? also not a great look for customers who are waiting. Been an hour. I now have hot water, again, but still the same shitty toes. Hour and 6 minutes....it's finally happening and she is pissy that I have glitter on my toes. It could have been soaked off an hour ago! It has not, in fact, been the pedi of a lifetime. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. But now my toes are all done and I'm glad that rollercoaster is over!! One last note...I purposely brought my own polish. Today, it is specifically because it is a UV reactive purple. She keeps trying to make me use a purple they stock. The bottle looks like it's been here for 8 years. I said no, use mine! The hell?! I already had 2 coats of my own polish on that she just applied. I think she just didn't want to do a 3rd coat!! Never again. I'm shocked this place stays in business if this is how they run it. Danny did great on my dip manicure! He was pretty fast, only complaint is he didn't touch my cuticles which I have found is common practice with dip manicures for some reason. Biggest complaint is the fumes in this place are pretty strong. I had a headache from them within the first 10 min of being there. I'm going to start off simple with avoid. Avoid if you care about things being clean, Avoid if you care about prices up front, Avoid if you don't want to be physically cut. As I was getting a pedicure, I noticed an employee who had unfortunately wet themselves, and continued working without gloves and sitting on things without changing. I really should have left then, but I didn't. They were constantly trying to sneak in hidden fees, and convince you to get there delux packages in hushed mumbling so you can't understand anything. I honestly felt bullied and was even scared to leave. Lesson learned. I ended up getting a full set of nails as well, which is what I originally wanted in the first place. Simple color, nothing too fancy. As the man doing my nails continued, the longer it took, the more aggressive he got. Constantly pulling my arms and hands around putting them on unclean surfaces. He ended up cutting me a few times around my cuticle. By the time it was all over, I was there for four hours. As I went to pay, they wrote down two prices on a small paper and gave it to me (notebook paper) Both the pedicure and manicure ended up being well over what was advertised. I ended up paying $105 all together for this beautiful experience; and honestly I was just happy to get out of there. If I could give a ZERO star rating then I would! I waited over an hour and asked to just soak off prior to being seated. Never happened! Once I was seated with someone he was going to drill my nails which didn't need it because I had little to no acrylic in the first place. He started taking the nail polish off with Acetone and asked again if I wanted him to file them down. I said no, I just need to soak them. He moved the bowl I was supposed to soak in and told me then he's not doing my nails! I will NEVER recommend this place and will NEVER be back! I have always had great pedicures here. I believe they use appropriate disinfectant measures. This week I called for an appointment and was given 11:00 the next day on 6/26. Perfect. I didn't ask for this time, they gave me the time. They seated me at 11:00 with two other pedicure customers in chairs. Both of the other pedicures finished. Still no one started my pedicure. I started to get up and leave at 11:45 because still no one even addressed me. I said it was fine but I just really had to go. A sweet lady sat then and began my pedicure immediately. I felt like my feet were hostage. Another customer had come in at 11:30 saying she had an 11:30 appointment. They began working on her within 5 minutes, so well before mine. Not a good place to go get a quality nail job! They cheat you with a smile and will not back down. A plain no frills manicure and I was charged 25 dollars. No shellac or anything fancy for that matter, just clear nail polish. The older lady working on me hurt my toes, too rough! Not my idea of a relaxing pedicure or manicure for that matter. I LOVED the first time I came here. Absolutely 5 stars. Best in Seguin. Until I found out they let Phu (I think) from Natural Nails come work here. He is awful. He cuts people and draws blood on purpose sometimes. He does not care and now I have no other place to go in Seguin for my nails. This man should not work in the service industry. Honestly I don't know if 2 stars is being generous at the point. The only thing that was good out of this experience was the pedicure. I went in for a full sent and pedicure today, pedicure went great. They put my previous nails with my previous set in the bowl to soak off. When it was time for my full set I asked the man for short stiletto, which is my normal at any salon. I also explained I wanted Halloween colors. He said "I'll ask when it's time" very rudely. Ok then, I'll let you know then that's fine. When it was time to cut my nails I said short and sharp like stiletto. He trimmed my nails all the way down then when I told him I wanted sharp (for at least the 3rd time) he told me no, to short... Ok? I had asked multiple times before he cut them for that shape. Even said I'd be willing to do almond if not. Instead they're completely rounded. The lengths don't match- He didn't compare them once to each other- and the coloring on the coat is spotty. I completely understand not being able to do a specific shape but, when you are rude about it is where I'm frustrated. I just spent $110 on my nails and they're awful and nothing like what I asked for except the colors. Barely. There's gunk all over from them being soaked off (under my nails also) At this point I'm mad and frustrated about the entire experience. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. Absolute worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. I showed up at a busy time, without an appointment, so I understand having to wait... BUT I sat in a chair for over an hour waiting for someone to help me. The only words that were said to me were "sit right there" I wasn't told how long of a wait it would be, I wasn't even spoken to after that or even acknowledged. Extremely rude staff, and very unprofessional. Would never recommend coming here, a lot better salons in Seguin. I left after about an hour and didn't even get my nails done. I was not offered a drink, not given a service menu, not acknowledged at all, while other, apparently long time customers received the red carpet treatment. Please let me start by stating that I am a health care worker and I want to post for the people who have the same safe "Quarantine" concerns I do. Before the COVID-19 hit I always enjoyed this nail shop but today made me realize this is not a quarantine safe place. I requested a "Dip" as I have multiple times pre-COVID. The front door sign clearly reads must have a mask on. A lot of the patrons did not have a mask on while I was sitting there two people walked in with no mask or bother to wash hands as requested by facility. As They continue to sit the 6 feet apart as recommended with no mask on while waiting. I was in the middle of my dip while noticing all of this... They also did Not abide by the ten people in facility Rule. I am only posting this for those of you who have the same fears of this situation.
