I called 7 nail salons before I found one that would take me as a client. I am in a wheelchair and no one wanted to even attempt a pedicure on me. I must say that I was greeted as soon as I entered and had a wonderful manicure first. Then the nail technician showed me to the pedicure area. Although I wasn't able to get a full pedicure, he was able to clip and trim with such care and precision! I will be back! And such reasonable prices too. We are in from out of town and headed to brunch at the Buttermilk Cafe across the parking lot. Decided to give this place a try while we waited for our table. We asked for a pedi for me and a mani for my daughter and were told it would be about 15 minutes. Fast forward 45+ minutes, I've had my old polish off and nails trimmed, one foot with cuticle work done, my daughter not had anything started when the guy doing my nails walks away for a minute and my hubby calls to say table is ready. Cut our losses, dried my feet and left. Have never seen a salon work so ridiculously slowly and give such bad time estimates. Can't comment on the results as we didn't get that far. read more

Not BEST nails at all!! They need more help!! I was told by Jennie that she couldn't do my nails anymore probably due to me going back for a refill and most of my nails had lifted off. After fixing my nails that I was willing to pay for..she then said she was too busy with her regular clients and couldn't do my nails anymore. Mmm okay! I would of liked to have known that before you did my nails the first time. I have been doing my nails for a very long time and NEVER have I been told they didn't want my business. The decent: It seemed clean, there were massage chairs, and I was offered a water. The rest: I arrived as a walk-in for a pedicure at around 6:15 PM on Saturday night. They close at 7:00 PM. I asked if they had time to do a pedicure and was told yes but with a 20 minute wait. My belief was that if they said yes and asked me to wait, they were willing to do a quality pedicure as soon as someone was available. When the gentleman was ready, he apologized for the wait, which was nice. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly from there. -The entire pedicure was rushed. Someone whose pedicure (she got the same one I did) started when I arrived 20 minutes earlier finished only a few minutes before mine did. -He made my cuticles bleed in such a way that they are still tender today 2 days later. -Lotion was applied with just one hand - no two-handed massage or effort put in. -He bumped my big toe and smudged it without any attempt to fix it. I saw him notice it and look at it, but he didn't say anything. I couldn't immediately tell it was smudged because the polish was wet and the shade is a bit metallic, but when I got in my car I saw the smudge right where it was bumped. read more

I was in need of a mani/pedi & had an hour wait for my son at the swim meet at Canyon H.S. last week and stopped here. My first and last time. I actually filed a formal complaint with the TX Dept of Licensing & Regulation. The ladies who did the mani/pedi did the best they knew how but were clearly not trained. When I asked to see their license, the owner said they both left them at home. The worst part the final straw that led me to file - the box that should be sanitizing tools used WAS NOT ON. I touched it on my way back to the front and opened it to see metal trays filled with various scissors, cuticle sticks, etc. and NON WERE BEING STERILIZED! When I asked the owner why this wasn't on he shrugged and said he didn't know it should plugged in. This shop gives nail salons a bad name! read more

Went to have my nails done here less than a week ago. I was given a time to return since they were busy at the time. When I returned the man who greeted us seemed annoyed and inconvenienced that we had returned. He did a very lazy (half-assed) job with the manicure & pedicure. I could have done a better & more detailed mani & pedi at home. Then he was more annoyed, even rolled his eyes at me, when I asked for a simple design. After leaving there, I did not feel pampered or relaxed. Felt like going home & giving myself a REAL mani/pedi. Shellac Polish is already starting to slightly peel along the edges. Best Nails..I think NOT..More like WORST NAILS. Where to begin? When I first I arrived no one even said hello to me. Then I sat down to get my gel nails taken off and get a gel manicure. He just stuck my hands in a solution way to long. When I would take my hands out and tell him I did not like it that he needed to scrap off the gel he kept saying no it is fine and sticking my hands back in the solution. Finally after several times of this he did end up scrapping the gel off. I should have gotten up right then. But I didn't and it just got worse. He barely paid attention whiles cutting my cuticles. I bleed several times. When it came time to file he just took the emery board over the nail one time and called that filling. I had just cut my nails before coming in but had not filled them so they had not shape at all. When I told him that was unexceptionable for filling he did do it again but they still were all different lengths and looked terrible. The nail polish looked even worse when it was all said and done. It also took well over an hour. I paid reluctantly and ran out of there as fast as I could. The next week I was so nervous about all the nicks from the cuticles I was afraid I had contracted something because the salon was so DIRTY. YUK....HORRIBLE!! read more

I came in 2 minutes before closing time and they were all VERY nice and let me and my mom, sister and dad in. From the start, they were all so welcoming. The girls got manis and my dad got a pedi. We were all very impressed and satisfied with their work. We all felt super comfortable. We got was we asked for. They didn't mind if we asked something to be done differently or requested something to be done to our nails. In fact, they thanked us for speaking up. They were all so sweet. Very reasonable prices. $32 for a mani pedi combo, you just can't beat. The owner and staff were very friendly. I love the way my nails come out. They have made small mistakes with my nails before but if you just communicate with them effectively they will fix what you need fixed no questions asked. This is my go to spot. The pedicure was half of what it should have been and the nail polish chipped off the next day, I've never had a pedicure last less than two weeks. The fill was just as awful, I asked him to cut down my nails and he never did. I asked a few times while he was filing my nails and he still never cut them. I am so disappointed in this place. I go there a lot and I've never had such a bad experience. When I went in there was only one person there doing nails that day, and she did an absolute terrible job.... On a very simple nail. The color was so uneven, the nails were uneven...... So when it was time for me to pay and leave..... I just paid and left because she was the only one there and didn't understand English. I called the next day, spoke to someone and told them I had to go pay ANOTHER $35 somewhere to get the ones she did fixed and that I wanted my money back.... And she told me I would receive a full refund. So here it is a week later, still no refund. I just called and spoke to some lady... And she pretty much told me I was lying and that I WONT be getting my refund..... She was SO rude and she kept screaming at me on the phone and then hung up on me. I've never been treated so terribly on my life. There are MUCH better places to go in new Braunfels. I called and made a formal complaint against this business with the BBB and apparently this isn't the first complaint they've received lately of very rude staff.
