I grew up doing my own nails and I have *very* high standards. I never thought I'd be one of 'those people' who had their nails done every two weeks... but here I am. I get Shellac gel manicures (with nail art of course) and a wonderful pedicure every two weeks. There's a good reason that people who come once usually become regular clients because the care and talent these artists demonstrate is truly next-level. (And busy -- book your appointments ahead!!!) These amazing artists are always training and stay on top of the latest trends and products (did anyone say glitter?). They are also the cleanest shop I've been and adhere to the strictest disinfection methods to ensure you have a safe visit. After two years, I've come to learn firsthand that they have the best clients. Not only that - they have a comfortable environment (and having a great tie every time doesn't hurt either!). I know my nail technician as an artist; not the 'person who does my nails.' My nails are her canvas and I get so excited to see what we're doing next time. You just will not find a better nail salon! I've followed Kim for decades and I wouldn't want to trust my nails with anyone else besides the other ladies in her salon. It is hard to imagine so much talent can be found in one awesome place, but once you've been you won't be able to argue that statement. The environment is absolutely perfect as well. The second you walk in you forget all your worries and cares, feeling pampered, safe, and completely spoiled as the ladies create such a fun environment you won't want to leave. If you live within an hour's drive of downtown Buford and you haven't been to The Nail Society, you need to question your life choices. This place is the BEST. The staff is so stinking friendly and crazy-knowledgeable about the products and services they offer. I was never one to get my nails done (hello, over 25 years of nail biting) and now I can't imagine going around with naked nails! My nails are stronger and healthier than they've EVER been. You can walk in with the exact art or design you're looking for and the ladies there will execute it flawlessly (like, Beyoncé just waking up flawless, y'all) but the BEST is when you just let them do their thing. These ladies are ridiculously creative and every time I go, I get so many compliments on my nails. I legitimately have people who look forward to when I get my nails done so that they can see the outcome. Walked in around noon with no appointment, asked for a basic manicure and was told they were booked until 4pm... except there was no body in the salon except the 3 nail techs. Not impressed with the service or way I was told they 'were booked' when no one was there. read more

Customer service goes above and beyond; they are the sweetest people ever. And my nails look PERFECT. Not going anywhere else.

It's a small salon, but the staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable.The chairs don't have any special features like massaging, but I am told that it is because massage chairs can be harmful to people on dialysis, etc. The ambiance is not great and they can only do two pedicures at a time which is both the pro and the con. I like it not being like a factory, but yet it lacked mood for the small place. read more

Excellent nail salon! Went recently with my 10 yr old daughter ... she got a kids mani/pedi and I did a spa pedicure. We were both very happy; the staff is friendly and welcoming.
