    Manicure & Pedicure

I am giving 1 stars only because my nails actually turned out really good, but the overall experience was incredibly frustrating and pushy. I will not be coming back. From the moment I walked in, I was given conflicting information. The first technician told me I could get an acrylic overlay on my natural nails to achieve an almond shape. However, once I sat down, the tech doing my nails insisted I had to get tips put on because my natural nails weren't long enough. Even after explaining that I wanted them very short; at a length virtually identical to my natural nails anyway; she pushed back, got another technician involved, and both of them kept pressuring me. To make matters worse, while I was trying to figure out what to do, the nail tech doing my pedicure was aggressively pushing me to hurry up and pick a color. The double pressure made what should have been a relaxing service super stressful. The biggest issue came when it was time to pay. None of the extra add-ons were explained upfront. A standard full set with gel/acrylic is listed at $50, but my subtotal jumped to $180 before tip! They tacked on almost $50 in surprise extra charges; including $35 for the design, $5 for "length" on very short nails, $5 for the almond shape, and $10 for a French tip on my toes that wasn't even gel paint, just regular polish. When I questioned the charges, there was zero effort to apologize, explain, or fix the situation. I still left a $40 tip for the staff because the work itself was nice, bringing my total to $220, but the lack of transparency and high-pressure environment ruined the experience. Watch out for hidden fees here; they will upcharge you for every tiny thing without giving you a heads-up.

What I Asked for vs. What I Got--A Complete Disappointment I've been a loyal customer of this salon for over a year, but Thursday's appointment was so bad that I won't be back. I came in with two clear reference photos--one for my manicure (black French tip with silver glitter line) and one for my pedicure (black polish with a glitter ombré on the big toe). These are not difficult designs. I showed the images to the techs and explained what I wanted. Unfortunately, there was a constant language barrier. No one told me upfront that the design I wanted couldn't even be done with the polish they were using. Instead of saying, "We need gel to achieve that," they just tried to fake it--badly. The pedicure design looked nothing like the reference photo. Eventually, Kiki (the manager) came out from her own lash appointment to try to help, and even she couldn't make it work. Meanwhile, the manicure was just as bad. The acrylic was way too thick, the shape was boxy and sharp, and when I looked down, I noticed the ends weren't even painted. (See the pictures I've uploaded--yes, that was the "final product" they expected me to accept.) When I pointed it out, Kiki told me I needed to ask for my nails to be "capped." Apparently, that's what the newer techs don't do unless you specifically say it. I've been getting my nails done for years and have never had to explain that I want my nails fully painted--especially when it's black polish. It was a mess. After that, they rushed to get me out. The salon was closing. It was raining and they forced me to wear throwaway foam flip-flops that were three sizes too small, despite me bringing open-toed Crocs. I walked through standing water and pebbles in the parking lot, nearly slipped and fell, and then had to figure out how to get into my brand new Tesla with soaked feet and muddy disposable sandals. At that point, I just paid the $125 (plus tip), brought my frustration home, and tried to move on. But within 24 hours, three nails chipped, and by 48 hours, six were ruined. The polish was thin, full of bubbles, and the edges were so sharp they scratched my child. They didn't answer the phone when I called right after. I've been too busy working since then to go back in person, but I shouldn't have to chase anyone down to fix this. This salon used to be my go-to. But now I completely understand why the reviews have dropped from 5 stars to barely 3. They've stopped caring, and it shows. Photos attached: * What I asked for (inspiration) * What I received (unpainted undersides, sloppy tips, thick acrylic)

This is my absolute favorite salon, I have been coming here for two years and cannot imagine changing now! Vy has always done an amazing job with my nails, and delivers perfectly every time! The staff is so kind and helpful, it's clean and well managed too! I love it here and would highly recommend!

I really like this place for designs and friendly people! The pricing is fair and the ambiance is chill

Free full set promo was an absolute SCAM!!!! A week or so ago I went in for the $60 detox and free full set promo and my end cost to $195 when inquired on the special I was told the add ons was the length of my (nail length in 1inch from fingertip) and the chrome design with gel polish That's absurd My daughters appointment was also set for today the 2nd I was apprehensive on going due to my experience but decided to give another shot Her scheduled service was jelly pedicure with ombré full set promo.. I knew she wanted SHORT almond Why was her service $150!!!! This time the excuse was the promo ended on the 30rh you had to get the service by that day which was not indicated to me at the time I scheduled her appointment and they charged extra for the shape

I got in right away without an appointment as a walk-in. The nail tech was fast! And her work was beautiful. I've always had a great experience here. I'll be back for sure!

This place is cute. An ad popped up on social media and I decided to check them out. I had a simple design that I wanted and the tech Tana was able to execute! I can tell that some techs are more versed in intricate designs. So if you have a more complex design be sure to show upon arrival to ensure you get a tech that can do it...or check out there social media beforehand to schedule an appt with desired tech! I did think for my simple design it was a little expensive, but it may be the going rate. (I've been going to the same nail tech for almost two years and feel like she has grandfathered me in)

Visited VIP today around 3:30pm. Very clean organized and amazing decor. They have TVs everywhere you turn. The music is mellow and chill. They made me wait about 20 min but I didn't have an appt. I didn't mind. Everyone was nice. Wish they offered me some wine or water while I waited but it was no big deal. The staff is super friendly. The only recommend recommendation I have is to consider placing different info on the TVs so you can have your choice of cooking or home remodeling. Anything else would be controversial. They have this great bar. It would be nice if they had a water station there so customers could walk up and serve themselves. That would also be more economical then bottles water.

I'm so happy with my nails!! Hailey did them perfectly and she was soooo sweet. She was willing to change to my liking and did it pretty quickly. I'm coming back soon and requesting her!!

    French tips

Got the daintiest french tips from Susan! Old school gel manicure. She's so nice and hand painted these individually.

I've been here twice. I like my nails and the pedicure. I picked the jelly pedicure and I loved it. I like the jelly. It feels like clouds. This will be my go to place for nails.

I have gone here four times now and received good service. I've only waited once and now make appointments online. All the nail techs can do the latest designs and I leave satisfied each time. I will say it's a lot more than I'd like to spend, but I also usually get detailed designs. My nails last a long time, three weeks to a month, and my hands look unique. I have gone other places because of price, but when I want a great design I go here.

This nail place used to be my spot! But now since they've gotten busier, they had to hire new nail techs and now their service has declined unfortunately. I came to get sns done on my nails because my middle finger nail was loose. I had told the nail tech this information beforehand and she still preceded to use the electronic nail file and she ended up drilling my finger *OUCH!!!* I also had a hot stone pedicure and the lady who did my pedi didn't realize how HOT the stones were so it burned so badly. At the end of what was supposed to be a relaxing experience she charged me $83 for a mani and pedi. It's time i take my business elsewhere.

Nail polished chipped and had to get fixed Saturday the 23. Here we are the 26 and my nail polish chipping again. I pay for no chip

The receptionist and I discussed this and I left with the understanding that the overlay, although not priced on the menu, would also be the same price. We then discussed cheaper options (powder, acrylic, gel). I was advised to then pick my color. I brought a color sample from a press on I'd previously worn. The receptionist brought me the gel colors similar to the provided sample. She mentioned that it had a "cat eye" look. I inquired about the pricing of the three gel colors palettes provided. I expressed that I wanted regular gel, nothing that would cost extra. She stated that the colors were gel polish at no extra price and that all three palettes were the same price. I picked what I understood to be a color. After my service, I was told my nails would be 70, which of course I questioned. Then I was informed that my toes would be 65. My pedicure tech was done and my nail tech was putting on a clear coat. I asked for the manager who explained you got a cat eye it's extra. I advised of the receptionist's conversation. The manager restated that the cat eye was extra. I simply said ok. To add to all of this my nails hurt. Hopefully, that changes. Misinformation or dishonesty. Either way. I don't appreciate it and won't be returning.

These amazing artists are always training and stay on top of the latest trends and products (did anyone say glitter?). They are also the cleanest shop I've been and adhere to the strictest disinfection methods to ensure you have a safe visit.
