Poor service!!! I come in to get SNS powder dip and they RUSH. The girl cut me multiple times causing me to bleed! Left SNS polish on my fingers. Didn't even attempt to clean my fingers up. Along with customer service! They never asked me how I am or a even a simple kind hello. They have a bar but didn't offer me to go order drink. The nail technicians were drinking!! Neve tin my life have I seen someone drink on the job in front of me! Maybe that's why they did such a poor job on my nails. Second time here. First time was great and my technician was super nice and attentive. She asked if water was and pressure was right, was extra careful with dark colors I chose, applied two coats of color on both hands and feet. This time around, it was weird. No one smiled the entire time I was there, everything was rushed even though I was not in a rush (new mom here and excited for this brief moment of pampering), and in fact I had to ask for two coats on my nails; got one on my feet which was odd. When I was drying and about to get up, I noticed my technician leaving too. I'm guessing the rush was because she was not supposed to take me but had to? I know there are bigger problems in the world, but for the price and for the tip I gave, you'd think there be more attention to detail? When I left, I said thanks to the owner since they didn't. Again, no words and no smile. Disappointed in the lack of customer service. I understand this is is tough business, dealing with people's feet. But it was 1030am. I had to have been the third customer. It was very much a machine based business; everything was there to execute except the lack of detail and friendliness. I felt guilty being there. read more

Ok so let's talk about the ambiance of this establishment....AMAZING!!! The shop was very clean and I felt safe especially with my mask on. I'm here for two reasons: All services 50% off and spend time with my niece and do something nice. So I'm getting pedicures for my niece and I. At the time I have gel polish from a previous pedicure so I know they're going to charge me extra(no big deal it's expected) so we both get the basic pedicures ($33*2) she gets gel polish ($20) I get regular polish ($10 to take off gel polish). The staff are really friendly they talk to you and get personal lol asking if you're from South Africa because we had turban/scarfs on our head, ya know all the good Christmas stuff! Well the experience was superb....they took their time, they were attentive(my feet are a piece of work!), neat just great work ! Well here's where the star is taken away. When it's time to pay my total comes to $60. If you recall earlier I gave you the prices. Tell me what you get later....anywho... I give him the confused look like huh...he says that it was a long night he miscalculated...hmmm ok . So he recalculated the total I'm thinking he is going to give me the correct total $48 this man says $58 at this point I look at my niece in disbelief that he thinks I'm this stupid and don't know how to add and subtract. It was to the point I just paid the $10 extra dollars because if you think the people that help put food on your table are so dumb that they can't do basic math...I'll gladly sow a seed of love into your establishment because you need it more than me. I took my daughter here for a princess mani/pedi. They were great for her. I decided to give them a try the next day for a gel fill/gel polish. The lady jerked my hands around and only wanted to move them and not allow myself to. She popped every single knuckle by twisting them. She rushed. It was awful. After the second coat of polish I told her it was awful looking. She removed all the polish and decided to try to fix them. After some more jerking around of my hands. I stopped her and said I would return back to my usual place, that it was a huge mistake. They still wanted to charge me $35 for just a gel fill when it wasn't even close to be worth $5. I complained the guy at the desk. He said he would fix for me. He filed them to make them even and then painted them. But honestly, still not worth $35. They've already been cracking and chipping and that has never happened to me. It looks awful. I would not recommend at all. It's beautiful inside but I am not paying for that, I am paying for my nails to last 2 or 3 weeks. I'll go back to my smaller shop with workers that care about their work and take care of me for the price I pay. read more

One male tech I hade to tell to repaint and do a second layer of paint on my toes, and the older lady was extremely rude and very rough. I went yesterday with two other ladies and it was just so-so. While we sat down immediately for our pedicures, it was 20+ minutes before anyone actually got to us and they never came up to check in or let us know it would be awhile. Two of us got the upgraded "gelly" pedicure that was said to include 10 minutes of massage, but neither one of us got it. There were also two other ladies in the salon that were complaining about the exact same thing. The service was very rushed once they did get to us, and the mani/pedi were just kinda average too. They didn't pay a ton of attention to detail and felt very hurried. While its super pretty inside and has a full bar (yahoo mommas day out!) I don't know that I'll do it again based on the level of service and price. Also, drinks are $$ instead of other places where they come complimentary. read more

I have been to this place a few times and it is a very clean location with a ton of space. However, there is never enough staff for the amount of people waiting. BE PREPARED TO WAIT for service. Every time I have waited over 30 mins. They are very misleading in the wait time and overall time management is awful. I have had to wait 30 mins for a pedicure and then wait again for another technician for my manicure. The technicians and manager are nice but it doesn't make up for the fact that the service is slow. After getting a manicure and pedicure that took 3 hours, the owner was very rude and did not do anything to make up for the fact that it took a ridiculous amount of time. Wouldn't recommend going with so many other nail salons around but if so I recommend making an appointment. read more

I never write negative reviews - but what a horrible experience I had there yesterday. Terrible pedicure, that didn't include half of what was listed in the description and also looks absolutely awful - followed by the worst waxing I've ever had. I have bloody spots around my eyebrow line from where she tweezed my skin, plus the brows themselves are uneven (she went lower on one eye than on the other) - and the rest of my face is still blotchy and red, looks almost like a rash. I came here very excited and left beyond disappointed. It's a beautiful place with a nice bar, but I paid $50+ for the worst pedicure I've ever received. I picked a more expensive pedicure service, looking forward to some extra attention but the technician did not massage my feet whatsoever. Her painting was so sloppy I ended up with nail polish all over my skin. I'm not one to complain usually, but I felt I needed to considering how much I was spending. The Nail Stop is a large, beautifully decorated nail salon, one of the most clean nail salons I've been to. The workers were kind, they have a full bar for anyone interested, as well as a kids area. I had a good experience here. Prices were competitive and they had a large selection of services, however it made me see that my preference, is for smaller, quieter salons. I felt like the person who was doing my mani/pedi was rushing to get me out, and a new person in. For me, getting my nails done is a luxury and a way to pamper myself. I didn't really feel like I was pampered here and it was hard for me to relax. But, like I said, my overall experience here was good and I'm happy I tried it. read more

I've gone a couple of times for a pedicure. Technicians were personable. Posted hours say that they open at 9am so I went this morning. There was a guy who checked me in and a lady who got the water ready for my spa pedicure. Then I was told that none of the techs have arrived. The first one finally did at 915am. I've been to this place a few times, each when the owners were present. The service is mediocre and inconsistent depending on who you go to.The most recent visit wasn't pleasant at all. An older gentleman assisted me and I wanted to ask if he was licensed to service customers. He didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. My nails looked as if I painted them myself. He kept talking to other employees and customers. Asking the lady beside me if she was married. It seemed to make the young woman uncomfortable. Needless to say, I will not be back. The service should be consistent, whether or not there's a manager/owner around. The prices are way too high for that. read more

My friend and I tried this place because of a Groupon. While waiting for my friend to arrive I asked the host if she could add on an eyebrow wax. She said that she has nothing to do with that because she only facilitates where and when the customers are placed. She told me to let my technician know. Ummm..I didn't know who my tech was because she hadn't placed me with anyone yet. Fast forward to eye brow waxing. The sheets/ pillow were dishelved and wrinkled. I thought she was going to replace the items for sanitation purposes, so I sat on the edge while she prepared the materials. WRONG! She asked me to lie down. I requested a new towel for the pillow. She flung the used towel in the hamper and tossed a clean one on the pillow. Move forward to pedicure. All the products were great. However, my lovely tech (same one from before), scraped my nail beds and cuticles so hard. She would stop every time I flinched but would continue at the same intensity. She cut my cuticle on my big toe and I bled all over. She had to stop and put iodine on it. She didn't place the polish close to the cuticles, so it looks like my nails have grown already. At check out, they need to know in advance if you're paying with cash or credit. I found that to be annoying. Overall, the place itself is aesthetically pleasing, but I will not go back there again. If I hadn't purchased the groupon with my friend, I probably would have walked out after the comment from the host and gone elsewhere. Lesson learned. read more

Please do not let the elaborate decor and unreasonably high prices fool you. When I went to The NailStop for a 'spa pedicure', the woman who was painting my toe nails cut into the heels of my feet with the metal foot grater (essentially a cheese grater) - as I see from other Yelp reviews, I have not been the first to have been cut up by the nail technicians. I kept telling her that the grater was hurting me, yet she still kept aggressively using the grater on my feet. As I was driving away from the nail salon, I noticed my feet bleeding and a day later, I am still in constant pain. I do not recommend this nail salon (the paint job alone was just average) and wish I never decided to use their services in the first place - this unbearable pain is not worth it!! read more

I was excited to try out a new nail salon. The space is beautiful and the techs were friendly. Bonus, I had a Groupon for a pedicure! I picked out two OPI colors mixed in with all of the other polishes. The pedicure was great, but halfway through my manicure the tech informed me the the colors I chose were an extra $5 each- huh? She had already put them on me... The manicure wasn't great, but that's okay because it started to chip the next day! My feet were super peely after the pedi. I just had my nails done by Daniel at the Nail Stop, the best gel manicure I have ever had! Daniel was great, shaped my nails the exact way I asked for and was great company for my Friday morning! If you haven't tried out this place I would absolutely recommend it, not your usual dark and dingy nail salon but super open and bright, with a fully stocked bar and really nice staff. Lovely, very clean and well-organized shop with all the services you would expect with a full-scale salon. I am a regular customer and this time I specifically booked with Dustin because I read below a very positive review of his work. He is wonderful! I had a basic pedicure and gel nails and I couldn't be more pleased. He took whatever time was necessary on each nail and my fingernails are all exactly the same length and exactly the same shape. He speaks English as well as I do and I was pleased that he gave me his full attention and did not carry on lengthy conversations with the other workers (as has been my previous experience). I wanted to try this new place I had my eye on. And absolutely loved it walking in. The choice of colors AMAZING! Very clean! Loved the set up of the shop! So much space! I was greeted when walking in by more than one person! Loved it! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the nail tech that I had she couldn't really understand me and what I had asked for when it came to my services. My pedicure she rushed and didn't paint my entire toe, I even went to explain to her my pointe feet can be difficult. But I don't think she understood. Because of my services being a Gel change, manicure and pedicure. I was there while the shop was closing, I got there around 6:45pm, she took her time which I won't complain about. But she started mentioning this powder dip that was $20 dollars more than regular Gel polish around 7:30ish when she knew I wanted Gel. She kept saying it over and over and it was getting a bit annoying. I understood she was going to be there past closing but I believe I came at a great time where it wasn't busy at all. In my opinion everything could've been before 8pm or at 8pm because she started soaking my gel polish off during my pedicure. Only giving them 2 stars for the atmosphere. The actual salon is beautiful but my service was sub-par. I went in with a group of friends. Two of us asked for the same service: SNS full set. SNS is the dip powder, and full set (to me) implies acrylic tips. We were both walked over by the same man who ended up doing my friend's nails while mine were done by another technician whose name I believe was Lisa (as indicated by name labels on all her tools). She did not perform the service as I'd had it done before - she had to call a manager over and was surprised when I wanted acrylic tips with a full set (is that not what full set means?) and never added any acrylic powder to blend the tips to my nails, leaving them bumpy. She asked if I wanted a cuticle treatment, which she explained meant using cuticle oil and pushing them back. I accepted and she said it would be an extra $10. I said nevermind. She took over 2 hours as I sat feeling uncomfortable for making my friends wait on me while they had been finished for the past 30 minutes. I asked for a square shape which she did not even file until over an hour into the service and after dipping multiple times. I don't have pictures because I was extremely disappointed and felt no need to photograph nails that I hated, but the shape was incredibly uneven. My right hand index finger was honestly not even a shape, just a glob. I spent HOURS later that day refiling them myself and trying to make them look even. She used the wrong size tip on my right hand middle finger, so that nail was skinnier than the rest of them. All of my nails had ridges and bumps in them. My left hand middle finger nail was significantly shorter than the rest of my nails. My thumbs were two completely different lengths. All of this was just a result of her shaping! Two of my nails were significantly darker than the others and some of them weren't even filled all the way to the bottom. On top of all of this, one of my nails popped off this morning, six days after my service. At least three of my other nails are loose and starting to peel off. NOT worth $50. I did not tip, clearly. Having a beautifully decorated space does not compensate for shoddy work. I've left a message in the "Contact Us" section of their website and I expect either a full refund or a better service, if they can even manage. I've had better looking nails (as affirmed by numerous compliments from friends and strangers asking where I'd gotten them done) after applying $8 CVS glue ons in my car. Not impressed. read more

I had a very nice visit at Nail stop last night. I purchased a Groupon for a Spa Pedicure for my boss and myself. They are short staffed, which would explain some of the complaints up here about the waiting time. They are also new; so give them some time to get fully staffed. The owners both came over; spoke and laughed with us. Very nice people. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. They have all O.P.I and Essie, the best polish brands ever. The space itself is amazing. It has a very spa like feel. Something that most nail salons claim but don't have. Most importantly; it is very clean. We ordered some wine and had a great experience. I've been here a few times and I can see that the service is starting to go down hill. Went with my family for a group pedicure this weekend and everyone agreed it was very rushed. They forgot to give everyone neck towels, we had to ask for the last two to get theirs. My daughter waited so long for someone to get to her chair that her water turned cold! The place is huge and has a bar albeit overpriced drinks. Went with a friend and we both had Groupons. I expect the same level of service for a basic pedicure as I would get if I did not have the Groupon. I felt rather rushed. I was very shocked to only receive one coat of colored polish. I have NEVER gotten a pedicure with only one coat of polish. My friend stated she only got one coat of polish also, and hers is chipping already. The same friend also got a 15 upgrade to her pedicure and was done the same time I was. Not sure what the extra 15 got her. Prices are higher than most others in the area. Have been here several times & had okay service, the ambiance is really cute & the vibes are lux life if you want to splurge a little. However my experience today was below basic & I didn't even get the basic pedicure, I stepped it up & got the Jelly Pedi which is 5$ more. When I say this lady rushed thru thee entire process. I asked her @ the beginning of pedi if she could slow down. She even had to go over the cuticle cutting because it was skin hanging where she did not do a clean cut. At this point there is still leftover old polish in the corners of some nails, she's pouring stuff in the water then immediately draining it, like how am I suppose to get any of the benefits of this lux jelly & whatever was in the 2nd pouch, if you are moving at a super fast pace & not paying attention to the details. So I call the manager/host guy over to say I'm not happy with the services thus far, they then tell me it's my fault because I came in @ 7:07 & that I waited to long in between to get a pedicure / the pedi I selected did not provide my cuticles to look clean because I had a lot of cuticle clippings, wow lol couldn't believe they blamed me for her unskilled services, no matter what time I came in, you should never rush through & provide a mediocre experience. The guy then takes over & attempts to clean the mess of cuticles she left dangling while she stares at me & talks in her language (rude & uncomfortable) so he paints my toes which actually look decent, but moral of the story avoid this place @ all costs.
