I was an ongoing and very loyal customer of their's for years. When they left their old salon and started up their own business, I happily followed. There were some issues during my last few visits. My nail tech had just had a baby (in which I was so extremely happy for them) but I find it so rude on the fact that she made me leave in the middle of my nails to come back later so that she can go home to breast feed. I don't understand why she didn't pump before my appointment, especially when I was her first client of the day. Then during my last visit, which was for my birthday, some things happened that were completely out of my control. Some of my family members were dropping out of their appointments very last minute which of course, caused a hindrance to my nails tech. I feel like she took it out on me though. The work she did on my nails was atrocious. Usually she does so good of a job that she would post them on her instagram. They were so thin and they snapped off just days after the appointment and they looked NOTHING like the picture I showed her. I honestly feel like she did it on purpose because she has such amazing talent and she doesn't play when it comes to her hard work. I paid a lot of money for lazy work. She then treated my brother in law with so much disrespect. Yes, she has every right to refuse service, but to talk to him the way she did was unexceptable. My sister ended up leaving instead of getting her pedicure because she didn't want to say anything rude. My brother in law had smelled like marijuana and nothing was said until AFTER he got his toes done. She told him that he needed to leave because she's breast feeding. But the thing is, the SMELL of it will cause no harm to the milk! Either way, he tried to apologize and she shook him off and said "That's nice but you need to leave." Like, what?! I felt so uncomfortable with the situation and then I was stuck with having to go back and forth with her about how the others canceled as if I planned it. Then, she said in a very snarky tone of voice that if it were anyone else, she'd make them pay a cancellation fee and that she usually has people put down a deposit before booking WHICH IS A LIE! I've sat at her chair numerous times while watching her or her husband book appointments and have NEVER seen them take a deposit or a cancellation fee! I continued to be polite after my sister left because I was worried she'd ruin my nails, which she did anyways. I'll NEVER be going back again. read more

This review will be lengthy, honest & fair. I found the business owner, Deja via Instagram. I'm very pleased with her professionalism, cleanliness, attention to detail & all around great service. I was very particular about wanting to support a small Black owned business. This young man has plenty of colors & deign options all displayed on the wall. I went with removal of my APRES gel nails (done in Atlanta). Opted for a short nail manicure w/ SNS dipping powder in color 241 (Wanderlust). It's a deep dark gray. Added a Deluxe pedi with lavender, service done by Cherelle (spelling idk?). These young women made me very proud to support them. My thumb nails has difficulty setting/drying under the light. I was able to ask for minor adjustments & it didn't seem like "putting them out" before closing w/ attitude or anything. I appreciate that! read more

Don't go here if you value your time and money. My mom and I tried to schedule an appointment here on a Saturday morning, we had been here once before and enjoyed their color selection, unfortunately they were booked until 4 p.m so we decided on another salon. We got a text saying to be there at 1 because their appointments were moving quickly and they had time to fit us in. That was where we made a mistake. We were not informed that the nail tech doing our nails was a student, who informed us she was not licensed. (Not sure how licensing works but she did in fact say she was not licensed) Fortunately for me my nails looked presentable...even though they are severely uneven and the sides of my nails aren't filled in with dip powder. My moms were a whole other story. Severely misshaped, uneven, dip powder stuck on her cuticles, the color was not even. It would have looked better if she had done them herself. We paid and tipped and when we got to the car, we discussed our almost 3.5 hour stay for the poor service we got. My mom decided to call and complain about the service along with a refund and she was told she would hear back from the owner. The next day, my mom heard back and was told to she could not get a refund and to come back on Monday morning at 11:30, a time they were usually not open, but was told the owner "just wanted to take care of the inconvenience" . My mom gets a text on Sunday night that the owner couldn't make it after all and that they could reschedule at 9:30 Tuesday morning right when they opened. That's fine, we could make it work, so this morning we headed to the salon at 9:15 and got a text that the owner was running late and would be 20 min late along with excuses. She got there around 9:50. I'm all for small businesses and try to support them as much as i can, but this business is just unprofessional and had a long list of excuses. If you're having a student work on customers, they should be informed. Fortunately my mom was able to get her nails fixed but we will not be visiting the shop again. read more
