I picked KT because the reviews on yelp seemed descent and KT is my initials The space is nothing fancy but I didn't mind as long as I got a good manicure. Minh Kim didn't speak much which was fine with me, she had good energy, you know when you just know someone is nice. She saw I was so tired from work and gave me a pillow to relax on ha. OK- I waited months to write this review but now I feel like I HAVE to write this review to save somebody else from getting a lash lift done here. It doesn't work. I don't know what they are using or not using but I came here to get my lash lift and it did not work. As I was paying, the lady said that I should curl my lashes everyday with a eyelash curler............. ... ... ... ??? I paid, I tipped, I left. I really should have asked for my money back or asked to come back again to have her try it a second time. The only reason why I am not giving this place a 1 star review is because they primarily do nails and they do a good job with nails. Just don't get your eyelash lift or brow lamination here. I had gel on and they didn't charge me extra to take it off (which was a nice surprise as some places do charge for that). I decided to give this place a try as I usually go across the street and wanted a more quiet experience. I came in for gel x and regular pedicure. The pedicure was fine and the lady was nice. The gel x however, was not what I wanted. From the application which hurt when curing the glue, putting a ton of glue that I have glue bumps behind my nail, oh and I was cut around my cuticle too. I tried to ignore it but when the polish application came I realized it was not at all what the swatch looked like which I expressed to her. She insisted it was and I know how it goes with speaking up at a nail salon. I was upset at this point as these were supposed to be my birthday nails. She offered for me to come in the next day for a polish change though she kept painting as i expressed I didn't like them. I appreciate her offering though she was probably annoyed but it's not my fault. Next day comes and no text or anything so I walk by and saw it was busy and I didn't have time to wait as I had other things to do. I had my sister who also does nails fix them for me. Sucks that I had to pay for a service that I was unsatisfied with and was not done properly. I probably won't be back here and will stick to my usual place. read more

I've been here twice now and was disappointed in my most recent experience. Previously, I had no complaints and the service was relaxing and high quality. This time, I had a good pedicure but a painful manicure. The woman doing my manicure went pretty hard on my cuticles and they ended up bleeding. She dropped some cleansing ointment on them but that made it even worse! The stinging was terrible and continued until my nails dried and I could get home and wash them. I would have been far happier with longer cuticles and no blood. Plus, I have a lot more hang nails now than before! On the pros, this spot is in a convenient location and fairly priced. It's just $35 for a mani/pedi. Plus, the staff is friendly so I'm guessing their other services are fine but I'm just weary to go back now. read more

Mani/Pedi $27. Quality AND Affordable. Do not be startled if a guy starts to do your mani or pedi. He is actually very good and does just about everything except apply the actual color to your nails. They are very good about cutting your cuticles. No cuts and I did leave feeling a little lighter from the excess skin. My only complaint would be she didn't scrub my feet. I did complain a little and they gave me my own yellow scrubber to rub off the dead skin on my heel myself at home. Okay. I waited a few days before writing this review to let you know on the chipping time. Let me just say, I am horrible with my nails and my manicures NEVER last that long and almost always end up chipping. It's been Day 4 since I had my manicure and the only chipping I have is from my right hand, index finger only because I was super rough with it. I even washed 2 cars, ate crab, and cleaned since then and I am very pleased to see it has lasted. Very impressive. Besides not scrubbing my heel very well, I guess my only other complaint would be I hate it when new customers come in and in order to prevent losing them, they tell them it'll be 10 minutes and then rush the heck out of my treatment. Go away! Minimum Charge on Card is $15. They want tip in cash. read more

Clean, Bright & Nicely Coordinated Decor: The shop is small but they have 6 mani tables and 6 massage chairs (no extra charge to use the fancy chairs during your pedi). There is a large selection of polishes including 50+ gel colors and an up to date gossip mag selection so you can catch up on all the goings on in the Kardashian clan. Quick & Quality Work: During the week a gel mani and reg pedi takes about 40mins but it can get crazy crowded on the weekend. Their manis and pedis last longer than any I've had; gel usually lasts 2.5 wks or longer and I do regular bike maintenance. $18 credit card min/cash tips only. I'm sad that it has taken me so long to discover this neighborhood treasure. $18 for a good spa pedicure (lotion and foot massage constitute a spa pedicure) and you also get one of the big comfy massage chairs. I came in here last Saturday afternoon to get a manicure, pedicure and my brows waxed. The whole experience was lovely. After reading a one star review here where the reviewer was basically just upset by them being busy on a Saturday, I was prepared for a long wait To my surprise there was only one other customer there so I was attended to immediately. While my pedicure was being done, another woman came and did my manicure. I had never had two people work on me like this before. I felt like some kind of royalty :D Both women were very good at what they were doing. My nails look awesome! I know it's only been two days, but my nails still look awesome. Usually, my nails get messed up shortly after I leave the salon, but not this time. As for my brow wax, it was probably the best I've ever had. She was quick, but it didn't feel rushed. My brows look amazing! They weren't red and puffy afterwards either (a common problem that occurs from a lousy esthetician). Also, the facility was very clean and well kept. Dirty nail salons are all too common but this place felt fancy, even if the price wasn't. It looses one star because they have a $15 minimum credit/debit card charge and they DO NOT accept a tip on the the card. Now I understand the $15 minimum for using a credit card, but I didn't appreciate that the woman grabbed the receipt and with her pen drew a line through the tip and wrote in the same total before handing it to me to sigh. They require a cash tip only. As a result, I tipped less than I would have if I were able to tip on my debit card since I didn't have much cash on me at the time. I understand preferring a cash tip but forcing one seems a little inconsiderate (and as in my case resulted in them getting tipped less). read more

When we first arrived they rushed us ( my boyfriend and I) to the back where the pedicures were and rushed me to pick a color. They then set up the chairs and waters and had us sit for 20-25 mins without letting us know when to expect to be seen next. By then the water was like warm at best and extremely uncomfortable. When they finally did get to us they did my boyfriends feet first, which is fine but makes no sense as I was getting my nails painted and he wasn't. Which meant we would have to wait that much longer for mine to dry. By the time they did get to me, the gentleman was very aggressive with the callus sponge and completely scrapped and cut the side of the outside of my foot and made it bleed! Never mind didn't even get the callous off the pads of the feet that needed it, and didn't apply a second coat of paint. read more
