    Pork chop in Madeira sauce!

Another fabulous dinner. Eggplant appetizer was delicious as well as the escargot fra diavolo. The burrata special was excellent. Tortellini ai Quattro Formaggi was phenomenal. The tortellini was very light and airy and the four cheese sauce was outstanding. Seafood Risotto was good. Desserts were Scrumptious!! Tiramisu, lava cake and Crème brûlée.

It's hard to find bad Italian food in north Jersey, but what sets Nanni apart is it's sense of style and impeccable service. This is not a red sauce dive; it's the classics combined with finer Italian cuisine. It's a place where you can hang at the bar and listen to live music, or dress up and celebrate in the dining room. The focus on service starts with complimentary valet parking, so don't forget to tip! Then there's a warm greeting as if you're a regular, an offer to take your coat (again no charge, so remember to tip), and then a guide to your table, chairs pulled out, napkins placed, and menus offered (ladies first of course). Cocktails are well made and there is a decent list of wines by the glass or by the bottle (don't understand the review that said there are only house wines; not true). The specials menu is as big as some restaurants entire menu. Combined with the regular menu, be prepared for some tough decisions. Whatever you're craving, they likely offer it. Breadsticks and bread are complimentary. Hope you came hungry! Appetizers and entrees are meant to fill you up. Even when you feel full, you'll want to keep eating because everything tastes so good. Whether you left room for dessert or not, get dessert! We've dined here a bunch of times and tried many different dishes. I'm not going to describe each individually as I normally would because they were all excellent. You won't go wrong with whatever you choose.

Food was a tad overpriced for what you got. Service was slow. Pasta was undercooked, almost crunchy. I can say I make better at home

Was not disappointed at all, first off 50 bucks for 4 people, where can you go and spend 50 bucks for 4 people? I spent 33 bucks at Wendy's the other day for me and my kid. So 50 bucks for 4 people for 3 courses in awesome! We got the ceasar salad, which was good and they gave us plenty of dressing and didn't skimp on the croutons or cheese. Next was rigatoni with oil and garlic and I gotta say I don't know what they did to the roasted garlic but it was amazing, like I was picking all the little pieces out of the pan it was so good. Then we got the sausage and peppers and if that wasn't enough they threw in meatballs with it as well. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us and we are big eaters. The sauce was so good and that fact that we eating at home I could soak up all the sauce in my bread without fear of being stared at by other patrons. We plan on ordering again and plan on going to dine in as well, the place looked newly remodeled and was quite cute inside. 5 out of 5!

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

Vibes: - Restaurant was dimly lit with little space between each table - Space felt cozy and warm Service: - Waiter was extremely kind and funny - Course timing was somewhat long but was easily forgiven based on how hot the dishes were Food: - Polpettone Della Nonna (lamb meatballs) had a citrus flavor to it, which was a nice surprise! It was different from the meatballs I've had thus far, but they were pretty salty... - Gnocchi al Gorgonzola was super creamy and rich in flavor - Hanger Steak was easily the most disappointing dish honestly. BV Tuscany 368 Cedar Lane…read moreTeaneck, NJ 07666 The cutlet and pasta were very tasty. The size of the cutlet did not disappoint. The red sauce and shredded parmesan cheese went well with the main and the side. The chicken parmesan is served with mixed vegetables. Substituting the veggies is not allowed, so I ordered a side of pasta for an upcharge. Although I enjoyed this meal, the minor drawback is the substitution policy. In my personal opinion, I feel that pasta is the ideal side dish for any CP entree. Vegetables should not the side dish unless I'm ordering chicken marsala or chicken francese. Otherwise, I was still satisfied with the food, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant.
