Great family space. - The bisktek tanalog was my least favorite, the garlic rice is a bit too mushy for me. - the kare kare was our favorite, perfect amount of peanut, perfect amount of tenderness and the meat melt in our mouth! - the escabeche flounder was crispy and pair perfectly with the chili oil . I was greeted upon entry and decided to sit at the bar. The customer service was really good. My waitress didn't mind giving me recommendations, and she even shared her favorites upon request. She was very attentive although it was busy. The dining area is nice. I decided to try the chicken lumpia, which are egg rolls made with ground chicken, cabbage, carrots, and toasted sesame oil. They are served with sweet chili sauce. They were fresh, hot, and tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed them! I also ordered the Inihaw chicken served with rice and a garlic vinegar dip. I wish it had a savory sauce to bring the dish together, as I didn't care for the garlic vinegar dip. I also ordered a dragonfruit lemonade that was really refreshing! Their menu has also slightly changed. We started with the veggie lumpia - filled with veggies and noodles and fried to perfection. For mains, I ordered the fishsilog - not a typical silog offering, but was cooked like a katsu with the thick crispy batter, served with an egg and fried rice. I had dinner here to wrap up my travel time in Savannah and ate their ox tail kare kare, a savory peanut-based stew with veggies and bagoong (shrimp paste). I loved the taste so much that I ate the entire serving--it had me thinking of my mom's cooking and life and I honestly almost cried in there lol. I enjoyed my meal with a San Miguel beer and would've loved desert if I had eaten only half of my meal and taken the rest of the kare kare to go. I work with nurses from the Philippines and am quite familiar with the food, especially pancit. I have never seen or eaten pancit with soy sauce, and what I ordered last night was drenched in it. For food we got some salmon sinigang. Its a sour and savory broth soup. This is one of my favorite filipino dish. They have pork and salmon option. It has spinach and other types of veges. We enjoyed the this soup a lot because it has its unique kick. Try it! We also got the bicol express. They make it different here. They make the pork crispy like the lechon kawali dish (deep fried pork) then they add the coconut milk. Honestly this is my less favorite dish in everything that we ordered. I know its not the authentic bicol express and I get it but I the way this was cook is not really my cup of tea. I can barely taste a bagoong (shrimp paste) in it and the coconut sauce don't really have so much flavor. I'ved tried this dish in any type of cooking style and I can also cook it so I will rate this dish 4 out of 10. We look for Filipino cuisine when traveling and found the restaurant on Yelp. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. We ordered at least 10 entrees, shared between 6 hungry adults and still had some leftovers. The food was delicious and well- presented. There was only one dish ("Bicol Express") that we didn't enjoy due to its lack of a vegetable that's typically in this dish. In fact, there was no vegetable at all in the dish.
