Good phô. Good Vietnamese iced coffee. Good, but a bit Americanized spring rolls (a bit heavy on the meat). As far as Asian food goes, this about the best we've had in the Savannah area. We enjoyed this small little shop. I've had better Phô, but not usually. This was very good. Tended a bit sweet for my taste, but that's probably just a style thing. Service was fine.

SO and I stopped here after a few days of southern cuisine overload. The chicken pho broth and noodles were good, but far from the best we've ever had. The lemongrass shrimp was full of fresh veggies, which was very refreshing. The bok choy was good, but over seasoned. Bottom line, the service was excellent and so was the food considering the location.

Huge selection of noodles. Hot and cold! Food came out immediately! Lightning fast! Just loved every dish! Small spot with 20ish tables.

This was our first time here, and our friends had recommended it. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed. We began with the Braised pork belly, which was decent. The pork was tender, but I was hoping for a bit more flavor. The drinks here were excellent, and the noodles were delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

Checked out this spot when I was in Savannah a while back and I really enjoyed what I ordered! Got the Na Na Noodles which comes with beef or shrimp, wide rice noodles, soy bean sauce, chinese broccoll, egg, cilantro and onions. I got mine with beef and it tasted so good! It was fresh, hot, and had a nice spice level to it. The dish was super filling, beef was cooked perfectly, and I love that it wasn't too soggy. It's one of their most popular dishes and it's so easy to see why. Didn't think I'd finish the whole thing, but I did and really wanted to order one to go.

Small space so don't bring a large party or a stroller. We had to leave our stroller by the host. The food did come out fast though. There was inside seating and outside seating but we might as well have sat outside because it was really hot inside. The drunken noodle was good, it had some spice to it.

Overdue review as we've been here couple of times and the food and experience have been consistently awesome. If there is one thing I can nit pick, it's that the tables are small. We tried quite a few dishes here and everything is top notch. Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 3.5/5

Extremely nice waitress. Fast service. I was recommended the drunken noodles. $20 for the dish. Some of my noodles were hard and the chicken wasn't tasty to me, so I pushed it to the side. The sauce was good but it was almost soupy. A little less sauce would have made it better. The dish isn't worth $20. Maybe $18. I got the Vietnamese ice coffee. $9. It was good, but I had better for cheaper. Good enough to come back and try another dish, like maybe rice. But just not crazy about what I ordered. I see the potential though for sure.

Featuring dishes from across Asia, this restaurant brings a diverse cultural spread to the table, all served by a warm and friendly staff. The cozy ambiance and charming street-facing view make it a great spot to unwind. The pho stood out with its rich, well-developed flavors, though the Peking duck was a miss -- lacking that signature crispiness and arriving noticeably undercooked. The true standout of the visit, however, was the Red Geisha -- an absolute delight from the first sip to the last.

I would suggest making a reservation because this place was poppin on a Sunday night. There's not a large dining room but a good amount of seating. I got sat awkwardly right in the center at a 2-top which was fine but I know the people around me got a good view of how much food I can put down! I literally couldn't decide on one thing so I ordered the roasted duck plate AND the wonton noodle soup with BBQ pork bc I'm a fatty! Their ticket times were A-1! My food came out quickly and hot. I let my noodle soup cool down a bit while I worked on my duck plate. So they give you this ginger fish sauce, OMG delicious. I asked for like 3 more sides to pour over my rice. I love spicy so they gave me a small spice rack and I stole all the chili peppers . The pickled carrots on top was a nice element of acid with the fatty but delicious duck. Solid 5/5 Noodle soup- I mean the broth was pleasantly savory, I'm obsessed with fried garlic chips cooked into the broth bc it gives it such a nice aroma. The veggies (bok choy, cabbage) scallions, perfect chewy texture on the noodles and the juicy pieces of BBQ pork. It's literally one of my fave things to eat on earth. My server from the get go was so funny and friendly. I noticed majority of their staff are Asian or Pacific Islander which I thought was really cool bc I'm part Viet myself and seeing how the menu has a dish from all parts of SE Asia was super cool. I legit took my husband here the next day bc I enjoyed it so much. We got the curry noodle soup and chicken dish. Very tender and juicy chicken with that same set up as the duck. Simple but so flavorful. Anytime I'm in Savannah, I will be eating here. PERIOD!

I will recommend this restaurant again and again! Any chance I get to go to Flying Monk, I take it--and when I'm under the weather, I'll even Uber Eats my favorite dishes because I love it that much. If it's a chilly day, I usually go for the White Elephant noodle dish--it's pure comfort in a bowl. But if it's Savannah-hot, the Spicy Lemongrass hits the spot every time. Honestly, I've never had a meal here I didn't love, and I'm always sending friends their way!

Incredible experience and delicious food! We went to the Flying Monk pretty late on a Saturday night and were seated right away by the very friendly host staff. Our server Mina greeted up promptly and brought waters out with our drinks which was so thoughtful. It was a fun, casual vibe for a weekend dinner but could've also been great for a quick weekday lunch because the food came out in minutes. We tried the pho, drunken noodles, and na na noodles all of which were super tasty, great noodle dishes. They brought out some chili oils with our food as well and we found those very fun to try and experiment with the varying levels of spice. Overall, this place is totally worth the hype and if I'm ever back in Savannah I will definitely stop in here again!

Came here for a quick lunch. Short walk from the Andaz Hotel. Such a great and varied menu nicely noted with the country of origin for each meal (Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, etc). Service was fast and friendly. Quality phenomenal. Indoor as well as outdoor seating for either a quaint Asian feel or perfectly poised for people watching. We come to Savannah often and always wanted to try this place. Finally did. Love it !!

You choose your broth and meat option and that tells you your price. You can add extra toppings for additional costs. Runs about less than $20 a person. They have fountain drink options as well as other Asian drinks. They have rice bowl options as well as meat on a stick. They don't have kids meal options but it's about $8 for noodles and broth. Which is a good option for kids. I ordered shoyu broth for my son. I didn't realize it would taste so salty. I understand it's a soy sauce broth. But most ramen broths I've had isn't to that degree. I asked if they could add hot water to the hot water to make it less salty. Verenice again was so helpful, she brought the ramen back out and said if I needed more water added to just ask. I will say I did not appreciate the additional comments from some of the kitchen staff. The place is decorated with lots of anime characters. They have a vending machine with goodies. A claw machine with stuffed animals and lots of Pokémon cards for sale.

Saigon Cafe on Waters Ave. closed, and that was the last place I knew in Savannah that served that exquisite, clear soup. I always get chicken soup (pho ga). The new owners are doing good work, but I'd been spoiled. The broth doesn't have the depth, and it isn't hot enough. It's gotta come smoking, fogging glasses, clearing sinuses. But Boomy's brings the broth. I've been there two or three times, and it's my new pho go-to. The noodles are wider than At Saigon Cafe, but that's fine; they hold their bite longer without getting mushy. Please note: Boomy's is a bar on Congress Street in Downtown Savannah. It's wheelchair accessible and laid back. A Dad out with his two young boys asked if one kid could use the bathroom and was welcomed ... no purchase, no hesitation. And a lady in a wheelchair with her companion and her dog ducked in for a soft drink and a rest. Everyone's welcome. Nothing about its façade or dive-bar vibe suggests it serves bangin' Vietnamese food. Waitstaff is quick to show you the burger menu on the back, in case pho isn't your jam. Because they serve Thai food as well, they're careful to have you choose your heat level. They're happy to give you pepper flakes on the side and Sriracha at the table. But my pho didn't need it. My lunch companion got the rare beef pho. The hot soup came with thin slices of beef wrapping in foil on the side. Drop it in and it cooks. Looked delicious. My pho ga was amazing. I rarely can eat it all, but I did that day. My only minor complaint is that the bean sprouts looked a little less than fresh, but I'm not a big fan of them in soup anyway. Didn't slow me up one bit. But I AM a big fan of their cucumber and tomato salad. Cukes, chopped tomatoes, grated carrots, and maybe grated radish were all dressed with fish sauce, maybe rice vinegar, and a little sugar. If I'd had some cilantro I would have added it; cilantro is expensive these days. Can't blame them for not including it. It may be available by request. Oh, and try the cocktails. I had the tequila cooler and subbed watermelon vodka for cucumber vodka. So refreshing. Go to Boomy's. Get there on one of the few remaining cool days of spring. Or if you come down with a spring cold. Or if you work downtown in an office meat locker, go to warm up from the inside out. It's worth the hunt for parking.
