A facial experience with Beauty Republic is really unlike anything else out there. One of the things that drew me to them is that they were willing to use only products that contained plant ingredients. I'm unable to use products with synthetic chemicals because my body is very sensitive to them. Many skincare businesses have a problem with this because so many products that are out there are not actually clean and non-toxic. This was not a problem at Beauty Republic though. Not only did my skin feel fantastic post-facial, they sell products that I can buy to use at home, and there are so many options to choose from that meet my criteria of being clean and non-toxic! Beauty Republic is now located at the address reflected on their business page here on Yelp. The studio is actually located on a residential property, but it is NOT inside the main house. They make sure to provide you with instructions via text message the day of your appointment, which is very helpful. The studio is now officially a team of two, lead by founder Marissa Duarte and her sister in law Vanessa. The services no longer include nails services. Their focus is entirely on skincare. Vanessa does offer waxing and lash lift/tinting services though! So, if you are looking for a place that is entirely dedicated to facials of various kinds with a holistic approach, this is it! And it's LOVELY. The studio is cozy and super well appointed. I was super relaxed the entire time. I went in for a facial that included gua sha with Vanessa. Vanessa is incredibly sweet and fun to talk to before and after your session. She keeps the session chat free so that you can indulge in all the relaxation possible and I loved it! Another nice aspect to their business is that it is a gratuity free zone, meaning that the pricing on their website is what you pay for and that's it. So you can think of it as the gratuity is included. I've never experienced that before and I must say it's a really nice way to enjoy a treatment. After my facial, Vanessa was gracious with her time and gave me some tips on how to use my gua sha stone at home. Her energy is wonderful and both she and Marissa seem to be super dedicated to continuing their education and developing all the skills they need to be the best! She is a wizard!! Lisa and Kristen are licensed nurses and know exactly what they are doing. This is so comforting when I'm getting needles in my face!!! It was so easy to schedule an appointment for a lip flip! I had the best experience ever because the whole process was explained to me so I knew exactly what to expect. The nurse who did my lip flip is very knowledgeable and my results speak for themselves. I got exactly what I wanted which was a less toothy smile. I noticed in the before picture that my upper lip would disappear when I smiled and now that's definitely not the case and I can't wait to come back since it's not a permanent procedure.

Appointments should be made weeks in advance (via phone or online) as they are very busy and all the hairstylists seem to be in high demand. Prices are on the pricier side but I am okay with that because they always do a stellar job giving my son the cut he wants. He has visited Mabel Salon on numerous occasions since 2024.
