I appreciated the cool temperature in the restaurant. Coffee was excellent flavor. Taco was ok. I ordered bacon egg and potato. Bacon was so small, it was not easy to taste it. I will try something else next time. read more

Fajita tacos and rice were both good, better than most places in Victoria--and I've been to at least ten 'highly recommended' Mexican restaurants and this one has been the best so far. Absolutely judge this place by its cover because it doesn't get any better on the inside. This would be a health inspectors "Rodeo"! I will say the customer service was excellent and friendly hence the 2nd star. The women's bathroom was horrendous. There was a bug on the bottom of my plant, which means there's bugs in the kitchen. We also watched a server reusing salsa and tortilla containers, meaning zero sanitation. The food was ok, and the only place open on Easter Sunday. You've been warned! read more

Great food and even better prices. We came for lunch on a Saturday. Wasn't too packed service was quick and friendly. Loud Mexican music playing, which wasn't too bad. I had the Texas plate: carne guisada, two beef enchiladas, beans (I passed on the rice), guacamole, and two flour tortillas. Food was great, minus the guacamole... it lacked salt, lime, and texture. It just didn't taste like fresh guac. I tried to spruce it up with salt & lime, but it just wasn't working. The beef enchiladas were the best thing on the plate. Carne guisada was super tender. I was too stuffed to eat the tortillas. All that for under $10 bucks. My friend had the beef quesadilla plate with rice, beans, and salad. She said everything was fabulous. Started with chips, queso, and red salsa. The salsa was some of the best I've had. Queso was cold so I didn't each much of that. The thought of including it for free was great, but the temp was disappointing. Overall, I'll definitely eat here when I'm in Victoria again. read more

A little disappointing. I ordered a Gordita and taco plate thinking the Gordita was a homemade tortilla. NOT! It was made up of two corn tortillas fried crispy with the filling in between. The meat had no flavor whatsoever. Hubby ordered BBQ plate which was meh. They ran out of homemade tortillas , so the tortillas they did serve was like eating cardboard. I will say that their menudo was outstanding. Service was slow if nonexistent for any refills. If I come back it will only be for their menudo. read more

Sunday breakfast. Served until 11am, costs $1 more if you get it after. First location I have found in Victoria that's 1. Actually open on Sunday and 2. Serves breakfast past 11am. Breakfast tacos were good, tortillas were big and full of food. Will definitely go again. read more

I drove from Katy to Victoria with my mother and siblings to accompany them as they toured properties, and we decided to stop for lunch (my stepfather, who works in Victoria, recommended the breakfast tacos from this joint). The service was friendly and professional, but the food is rather overpriced for the quality and taste, not to mention that the wait time was longer than expected. I ordered the Enchiladas Mexicanas (I usually avoid Tex-Mex food, and this item appeared to be authentically Mexican) and it was a truly DISAPPOINTING experience for me. The enchilada sauce was watery, cold, tasteless, and not spicy at all. The Carne Asada was not very appealing and nasty. The Tacos de Huevo con Chorizo TASTED decent, but my younger siblings started throwing up a couple of hours later. I will NEVER come back here again. Period. read more

I eat breakfast here at least once a month. I have tried most of the menu. The food is good and the waitstaff always keep my coffee cup full. The prices are good. If you are looking for a good Mexican breakfast I recommend stopping by. read more

I always drove by this place leaving Victoria then one day had decided to try it....the waitress did not give us any chips or dip till after she was done taking our order I had to ask her for the chips and dip, I mean I worked in a Mexican restaurant and know what's expected I would understand if it was a very busy day but it was very slow clam day...our food came out and she asked us if everything looked ok she had forgotten the corn tortillas the soup beans and our fried jalapeños, maybe she was new but obviously did not ck the ticket order before taking out the food, then I had accidentally spilled my water and none of the staff came to help me clean up or offer me any water the food was ok but the service was horrible never again will I stop there to eat. read more

I ordered enchiladas from here and when I got them the people were nice and everything. So me and my boyfriend ate and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the next day my boyfriend and I felt nauseous and had headaches we didn't think to much about it. Later that night we both woke up and threw up. I threw up 5 times I couldn't even drink water because I threw that up too. So me and my boyfriend were confused. Since we had eaten the enchiladas we didn't have an appetite so that was the only thing we had eaten. We had high fevers both of our bodies were aching so bad we couldn't sleep this lasted for several days we missed work then when we did get back to work we were still feeling sick. We didn't eat much of anything at all we tried to but just felt to nauseous. We were thinking we had food poisoning I called to let them know and they didn't say much. A waitress said she'd have the boss call me but no one ever called. Sooo yes the food is good just be careful!! read more

First of all let me say I hate Mexican food. I gag on beans and can't tell the difference between a burrito, taco or a tamale. They all look and taste the same to me. Well maybe not the tamale, didn't know you took the husk off the first and only time I tried one. I am not from Texas, so I guess I never acquired the taste of Mexican food, and most of it is way to hot for me. But, I went there for breakfast and was amazed at the service, the server was very polite and friendly, and the food was quick, hot and very good (of course I got the Anglo special of eggs, bacon and pancakes). I will definitely go back for breakfast and maybe for lunch, there is always a cheeseburger on every Mexican menu!!! I also liked the crowd in the restaurant There were tables of people talking instead of looking at their cell phones, and the children were talking with each other politely, again not playing games or sulking and looking at their cell phones.
