One of my most favorite stores to shop from specially for winter wear. While shopping with my son this weekend we got a great deal on T-shirt's. Two for $30 . We also got him shorts for under $30 The winter jackets had great sales but I didn't buy any cause I have quite a few already so does my family. The store is well organized and fully stocked. Had the worst experience by the rudest person. I know you are closing in 15 minutes but that doesn't mean you should throw out stuff in the bag so you can hurry it up. Store is not even closed yet and we are getting kicked out. Also we were waiting to be rung up because they were too busy talking about their cat. Awful service by Giselle. And to top it off their reason was because she was trying to hurry up?!?! Hurry what up your paying customers? Compete and utter disrespect. Please train your employees to be more courteous to your paying customers. Awful.... Awful service Giselle (not sure if I even spelled her name right) treat paying customers better! I even had to force myself to say you're welcome, because she was too rude to even say thank you. After she slams our receipt in the bag so she can continue talking about cats. Wow! Good selection and stock. Got a couple t-shirts on sale and found a clearance jacket which was at a great price too. I try to come here whenever I hit the outlets as I normally find something whiter I need it or not. North Face quality is always good and they seem to stand behind their products. Extremely frustrating experience. Returned a gift item to get store credit card with gift receipt amount. Shopped & bought 2 items. Cashier needed to scratch off the back of store gift card to reveal PIN number & couldn't find object sharp enough to remove. I used key to scratch off back of card, except it scratched & damaged the back of card to read the PIN. Was told by store supervisor that they could not use the store card since the PIN is unreadable, despite having the return receipt given 30 minutes earlier. Was advised to call customer service on back of store return card since the cashier & store supervisor couldn't use the card without the PIN. Now I have to call customer service on weekday to dispute the return amount and receive a PIN, $160 worth. We drove over an hour to return the gift. I bought the 2 items since it would have been a waste of time to leave empty handed, driving the 2 hours of combined trip. To Corporate: Fix this procedure immediately. Store manager should be granted authorization to override & issue a new store card with new PIN with proof of original return receipt & allow customers to purchase items. Also, an object should be available to scratch off the grey scratcher. Had the employee damaged the card, the situation would have been the same in having to call customer service to dispute the legitimacy of the return transaction. In this case, the blame was placed on the customer since the customer damaged the card rendering the PIN unreadable. We, the customers, were embarrassed, frustrated & angry with the awkwardness of the situation. Now we have to dispute, wasting time in getting the return amount & driving more than 1 hour 1 way to North Face Outlet store again. read more

You don't come across many brick and mortar North Face shopping locations ..... and as far as I've experienced probably even fewer that are linked to an outlet (I've seen a few but not many). This store is a good capture of what the North Face brand is all about and what they have to offer. Distinct men's and women's sections so you can divide and conquer. The selection is good, prices are probably closer to what you would expect to pay for at a retail store, but again the product they offer (in my opinion) is top notch and has always been good quality (last's forever). Usually you get a hello from somebody working there upon entering and possibly someone will ask if you need help while shopping. When you check out, I've always had staff members that were really friendly. All in all this is a pretty good location and I'd recommend it to others. read more

I'm big on North Face and the products they deliver. I gotta support the Berkeley company and the quality made goods they sell. I have been to this NF factory store in Camarillo a couple of times but the most recent trip landed on Labor Day weekend. There were items on racks and boxes that were outside of the store with huge markdowns. I was able to get a beanie and a logo tee for a real good deal. Check-out was efficient and friendly. I will for sure go to this store every time we hit the Camarillo outlets. read more

Kudos to this place. We went to this place yesterday. The way they are handling business, under this "new normal" is great. Besides controlling the number of people in the store, which is probably a city regulation, their cashiers clean all counters before a customer checks out. Came by here for the after Christmas sale and scored a 50% off tri-climate jacket for myself. Plenty of colors and styles to choose from. One of the saleswomen was very helpful and gave me a quick run through the different styles and features. She said items are usually 30% off with the best sales during the major holidays. read more

Quality control of the products are unfortunately not good. Every time I'm about to buy a product there is a tear in the clothing. If you do happen to go to one of their stores, double check to see if there are any imperfections on the products before buying them. read more

Another FIVE STAR review for The North Face Outlet @ the Camarillo Malls!!! Okay, so I have another few more business trips that will take me to very cold climates (30F or colder) and I decided to compliment my recently purchased North Face goose down filled jacket with several other pieces of warm clothing. I had such a great experience with North Face last month, I decided to prove that I was just lucky during my last visit. I had three items in mind: a goose down filled jacket vest, an Apex vest, and a backpack. I walked into the store and BAM!!!! Right in front of my face, there was one goose down filled jacket vest (Regularly $125, on sale for $65) and one Apex vest (regularly $99, on sale for $51). And both were the only ones left on the rack and both were in my size. HOW COOL IS THAT?! I quickly hoarded them because there were groups of tourists (that have the same eye-type as I do) coming into the store. SCORE!!! I protected them like a newborn puppydog! After scooping them up quickly, I decided to look for a backpack. On the back wall, there were 25+ different kinds of backpacks / duffels / shoulder sling bags. They have styles for both men and women. Matt, the sales guy in the back of the store was super helpful in explaining the different type of backpacks that they make. He patiently helped me get them up and down from the wall. After trying out about 10+ different backpacks, I finally settled on the "Mainframe" backpack, which is waterproof and safely holds laptop computers. (Regulary $99, on sale for $55!!) HOLLAH! I did it again - I found all of the items that I was looking for. This typically doesn't happen to me at outlet stores. The North Face rocks! Best part of my experience was the customer service! ROCKING customer service from both Matt and Mireille!!! Funny thing is at the front desk while checking out, the store manager "Mr. Dave" was there again and he recognized me and my family! I chuckled to see how he connects with his customers - even the kids. He gave the kiddos around 10+ North Face stickers and told them to go put them on all the cars in the parking lot! HILARIOUS!!! You do know that those stickers ended up IN their parent's cars, on the inside of the windows, don't you?! Customer Service Grade: A++++ (Matt, Mireille, & Dave - you rock!) Selection Grade: A! We used to enjoy shopping here but the last few months we have come in, there have been quite a few people / groups, Live-streaming and trying to resell before they buy the product. I'm all for trying to make a living and it helps the store make money too, but when aisles are blocked and products are not accessible by someone doing a livestream, it is hard for the consumer going in to buy to even see products. There are been people blocking aisles with large carts they brought in and groups of people with product all over the floor. I have been run into and pushed aside by some of these people. People are even putting up tripods for their livestreams. Courtesy is just not there. read more

A Gargantuan of a store with a Ginormous selection - the best part was, what you need is easy to locate as they are all grouped together by aisle and the staff was very friendly. My 400th Yelp review is going to......The North Face Outlet! :D Honestly, I didn't know the brand in the beginning but wow, there's a lot of environmentally friendly technology and innovative design that goes behind the iconic half dome logo (as well as for the price too). I'm a fan of their soft shells, fleece jacket full zips, Summit Series pieces, duffel bags and backpacks. You really can't beat The North Face products at the outlet price with the fact that people will buy the same products at retail price. At the outlets, you also get sale promotions ranging from 25% - 50% off on top of the outlet prices and they also offer 10% off for active U.S. military with id. Only common issue among the reviews for TNF is the lack of sizes. For women and men, sizes small and medium are hard to come by. If that's your size and you find something, GET IT! Can't be certain TNF will have it again, especially in those popular sizes. Also, TNF products sold at the outlet does not offer lifetime warranty because it cannot honor both the lifetime warranty and a low prices for their items. The products still hold true to its quality but with such a great discount from its retail price, it cannot have the lifetime warranty. Just saying. read more

Needed a fleece jacket, and stopped in when I was in the area. First off, this place is pretty big and had a good selection. Maybe it was the fact that I went after the holidays, but size-wise it was great with many M and S available. I can see where it can be a bit of a crapshoot though, since I've been to other outlet stores where most everything was XS or XL and above. The employees were also very friendly and helpful as well and I never felt like I was being ignored. The marked price on the jacket I settled on was around $70, but with 40% off, I ended up paying about $42, quite a deal! All of the B&M stores that were having sales (REI, Nordstroms, etc) were still easily at least $55-$60, and were pretty limited in sizes, colors and styles. On another note, there's always a concern with quality from outlet stores; I compared the one that I got with one that was bought at a traditional retail store and at least as far as the fabric and build quality, it seemed pretty comparable. It's also worth mentioning that unlike "normal" TNF gear, ones from the outlet store do not have a warranty, but given the price discount and the fact that I'll just buy another one if something happens or breaks, it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall great place to shop, I don't know if I would've paid the $70 that it would've cost elsewhere, but for the price point, great buy! read more

Black Friday shopping at the Camarillo Outlets = My WORST Nightmare! Luckily the North Face store was having excellent deals on almost everything in the store. The store was cramped, a bit disorganized, and extremely chaotic but I wouldn't expect anything different on Black Friday. When I was finished rummaging through the racks of clothing and boxes of shoes I went to the front to be rung up. The line was a bit long but the cashiers were working fast so my wait was short. When it was my turn the cashier was very pleasant and seemed to be in a good mood. Her positivity and humor helped me get through the rest of my Black Friday shopping in the outlets. I've always enjoyed North Face products (full price or on sale) and will continue to use them religiously. The outlets can be a frustrating experience to endure but my experiences at the North Face outlet have always been positive. Definitely worth fighting for a parking spot at the outlets if your going here. read more

This is the best The North Face location we ever been in. I get a bunch of limited edition back packs in this location. I find the coolest walking shoez ever and stuff like scarfs....gloves.....socks....gifts! I can just shop in here for hours. She went ahead to tell me they only had a few on the floor due to them being all sold out . So I ended only purchasing one item . Jackets, parkas, fleece, hoodies, windbreakers.. you name it, they've got it -- and at a good price too!! I just came back from there and they had 30-50% off deals on outerwear and pants. Snowboarding jackets and pants were in the $200 range with an additional 30% off. Some other jackets, $100-200 range with an additional 30-40% off. Hoodies and fleece, less than $100 with an additional 50% off. They also had backpacks of all sorts at 30% off, some camping gear, and shoes/boots too -- all on sale. Usually North Face products are notoriously expensive; to find an outlet store like this with discounted prices on the same products sold in full-price retail stores -- you've got to take advantage. Again, the store is HUGE and it's a little easy to get lost in a sea of jackets, so finding help can be a bit troublesome sometimes, but when you do find it -- they're super helpful! I'm going to have to come back to this place to do some damage, I just hope the sales are still going by then. When I saw this place, I got excited because I need a new boarding jacket and pants. I'm just glad that this North Face location didn't let me down. They're legit and I will be back! read more

Customer service sucks. Tried to return 2 pants, had original receipt but did not have the credit card I purchased with on hand. The store got their money over 2 weeks ago, but didn't want to do my return with my credit card, instead offered store credit. I would have rather gotten my cash back. Instead they said come back with the credit card so we can give you a full refund. Not all of us live down the street from a north face store. Sure I'll drive home 20 minutes and come back out this way at another date with my credit card. No inconvenience.. to the customer at all . Psh, if that's "policy"... well than policy needs to change. It's not like I can walk out the store without paying for my items.. so why not return cash to the customer when they are not satisfied with their product. .. This place is terrible, they have way toooo many racks. It's impossible to walk in that store especially when there's a lot of people. The employees are useless, there was an employee trying on apparel when there is 50 customers in the store. When I asked him a question, he answered rudely and sarcastically like I'm suppose to know the tech they use in their jackets and walked away as he did so. If he doesn't want to help anyone, he needs to find a different job or this store needs to train their employees better. In addition, every time you need help with a size, for nearly every jacket it's " we don't have anymore" it's like they don't even care to make a purchase. read more

I love this North Face outlet! They're always having a sale... and everything there is already so cheap for a brand like North Face. Coming from Northern Cali, we're so used to wearing hoodies and jackets in the Fall and Winter time -- and North Face products are definitely worth splurging on. So when I see a North Face outlet, you know I'm squealing inside because it's so much cheaper than regular retail store prices! The staff there is also nice and helpful. I would say that the only downside is if you have a serious question on the performances of certain jackets, you probably won't get much insight. I don't think the employees are well trained to answer questions such as that. read more

The style, selection and comfort all are considered when investing in key pieces like warm jackets, vests, or outfitting for running or hiking. The folks that work here are really kind. They will try their darndest to get your size or find a color. Awesome! So cheerful.. how can you not be happy? You're facing north.... right? Why the frown, Charlie Brown? Well, for one thing, it was so bloody hot in the store, the retailer should be lucky thier employees are willing to work in 80 degrees, selling cold weather clothes to fools like me. I couldn't bare to be in the store, let alone try anything on. Much too warm. Also, the quality at an outlet sometimes pales in comparison to shopping at the real deal. If you like The North Face or have wanted to buy their stuff but the prices deterred you from it, you should totally check out this outlet store. The prices here are AMAZING. The first time I came here, I was going bonkers and couldn't leave the store. My friend who waited over an hour for me to browse the store said she'd never go shopping with me again, LOL. I made an excuse to come out here again the following week on Labor Day and found that they were selling everything even cheaper! I mean some jackets were going for $20! Luckily, I had brought everything back I bought the first time knowing this might happen, haha. The popular sizes are a little tough to find on the really good deals but pretty much every item in this store is priced so cheap that you will not find prices remotely close to this anywhere else. The one caveat is that the stuff sold here carry no warranty, but that's understandable considering the huge discount. Do not buy products from ANY The North Face outlet stores. I had a clearly defective jacket. I contacted The North Face and they said the only way I could possibly get a refund is to take the store all the way back to the Outlet in Camarillo--when I don't live in Camarillo--that's freaking $90 in the hole for a terrible, cheaply made, clearly defective product. It's one thing sell discounted or products at your outlet. It's another thing to sell cheaply made products for high prices still just because of your brand and use your brand name to fool people and cause them to waste their money. If you don't have the money to invest full price, don't invest at all. It's not worth the financial investment or risk. Especially when their corporate customer service is terrible and unwilling to help because you purchased it at the outlet. Their corporate customer service was so unhelpful, I will not be going back. read more

I have been hooked on North Face gear fir decades. In fact, my favorite winter jacket is a North Face down jacket that is still going strong after over 2 decades of wear. The stuff is bulletproof (well, darn near at least). Unlike other outlets, TNF sells standard gear minus the lifetime warranty. OK, if something does happen, I can't get it fixed for free (and the warranty does work, I have used it on well worn gear in the past), but with the prices of jackets and like, it is worth the flyer. read more

Great Prices! There is prob a lot more variety for the guy section but the girls section has a good amount of variety as well. However, you are much more likely to get colorful items rather than the traditional black/ white/ gray colors, especially in certain sizes. When I went there were a lot of medium sizes for both men and women but little to no smalls or larges. I tended to see a lot of extra large and medium in women. Its totally worth a try the prices are hard to beat, I payed $200 for 3 men jackets and one woman jacket when you tend to see a good $200 jacket at a regular NorthFace store. So you def get a lot more for your buck out this outlet :) read more

We were going backpacking and needed... well we needed backpacks. We went to Sport's Authority and the North Face Terra 65 was $180. We called the North Face camarillo outlet, turns out they're on sale for $95. We drove over and were so happy to be helped by Brad. He was so thorough in explaining all the functions and features of the backpack. Which we didn't get at Sport's Authority.. it was just on the rack and we bought it because it was big, black and badass. So in a way, we were really fortunate to go to this store, and really learn all the cool things about this backpack. It really helped us on our trip. I'd definitely recommend this store, not just for bargains, but for real quality employees who are knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Quite a bit of selection but quite a few people rummaging through at the end of the day = did not find the sizes in the styles I was looking for. Unfortunately I left empty handed but the deals were very good (20-50% off). Maybe it was the cold weather coming or maybe it was the fact that at the end of the day it was pilfered through but this was my experience today. I really wanted to score a thermoball jacket on my visit but they only had a "vomit" green colour and red (not in my sizing) that was absolutely wretched. This is what you get for coming late. Many of the popular sizes are all snatched up and what's left is odd sizes and funny colours and non popular styles. We will definitely be back as the deals seem too good to miss. We will come earlier in the day however to avoid the end of day flea market feel. read more

As an outlet location, it's obviously gonna be pretty hellish, having to elbow your way through crowds on a Saturday .... oh, and finding things in your size can be a gamble as well. I used to love North Face. I have some jackets that I bought here that have served me well for many years. I wanted to update my collection, so I came in and got some great deals. However, when I got them home, they smelled weird, like chemicals or rubber or something. I couldn't live with the awful smell, so I took them back and let them know. They gladly exchanged everything, and I attempted to pick out something that didn't smell bad. I wanted a Goretex rain jacket. I made my selection, but again when I got it home it smelled awful. I don't know why, but I couldn't smell the chemicals at the store. By now you're probably thinking it's all in my head, but you'll be pleased to know this story has a happy ending. I took everything back to North Face and they were nice about giving me a refund. I then went to REI and picked out a Goretex rain jacket. It's been awesome, with no smell whatsoever. As an aside, I compared the materials of my old North Face jackets with the new ones and there is a new "ingredient ". I can't remember the name, but it's about 5% of the materials content. Bottom line, the customer service here is great, but the products are declining in my opinion. I won't be back. read more
