This is not your typical review. I have about 6 North Face coats at home and was totally crushed to see one of my favorite coats has a seam that came apart in the shoulder area. I called North Face corporate to see what hoops I have to jump through for the so called life time warranty. They told me just bring it to the North Face Store and they will ship it back to get repaired free if it's a defect from normal wear and tear. I go the store I was warmly and sympathetically greeted. They helped me fill out the return sheet and I was done. They will have it shipped to my home in 6-8 weeks just in time . Just before the harsh New England winter. It's refreshing to see a company stand behind their products. No they are not the cheapest and I don't want a cheap product. I want a great product that the company has that much faith in that they stand behind it. read more

While shopping at Northshore Mall we stopped at this North Face store to buy some clothing for a family member. When we entered the store we were warmly greeted by the employees who told us about the current sales as well as their new merchandise. The store was well stocked with items, and we appreciate the fact that their children's section was filled with clearance items. In the end we bought a sweater and the price was reasonable. Usually North Face items are expensive because of their durability, but the sales here made our purchase possible. read more

this store is kept clean and the staff are friendly and prompt but def slow on the lines for how low volume they get.

I can't believe these bad reviews!! Employees were extremely friendly unassuming and helpful! Perhaps if you are paranoid or hate social interaction you should probably shop from home, not give a business 1 star because the people who work there were looking at you! This review is more for an Employee than the store. If you want to buy something at this store, I highly and STRONGLY recommend speaking to Nick. He is super awesome, has great knowledge about most of the products, honest and very friendly. I really like North Face apparel. It's a rarity that I can get any help in this store. One might think that a customer trying on jackets would draw a salesperson near. Never happened for me in this location. Perhaps the merchandise sells itself. Why do I keep shopping there? Try on what interests me and buy online. read more

Horrible experience. Stood in line for nearly an hour to return gloves that the stitching was busted , which I bought earlier from the north face in Boston . Paul who took the return could care less . No apology, no nothing . Of course that store has no inventory so we couldn't exchange them . His response was " they didn't make enough " every employee in the store was miserable . Not going back . read more

OK store, but the employees here are annoying and seem to always keep their eyes on you. The prices are almost always MSRP, which is far too much in my opinion. TIP - buy online from somebody else or go to the North Face outlet in Freeport, ME for MUCH better prices. read more

I like the selection and I appreciate the ability to try items on, but the service is lacking. I'm sorry, but I'm not 16. I don't need to be given the evil eye while I browse and god forbid, try on a jacket. I'm not trying to steal anything! I went there trying to buy a neck warmer. After looking around the store for about 20mins with employees just standing around (i think the employees are there for anti-theft purposes & not customer service) I asked where the neck warmers are. He said they sold out about 3 weeks ago! Is the back order that long on neck warmers? prob not. read more
