I was relaxed once the front door closed. The serenity of the room was comforting. A bench, a chair and front desk. Beautiful white shelves with just the right amount of merchandise. The door to the back is a big grain wood slab with an enormous rope knot. The back area was so serene. Wicker lanterns hang above you. Each rooms "walls" are heavy weight canvas hung with rope over huge pine beams. Carolyn was wonderful. Accommodated my light to medium pressure. She was kind and lovely. The girls at the front desk were fantastically funny. They weren't over the top. They didn't speak loudly or softly, it just fit being somewhere serene. I'm not a huge fan of the design asthetic but it was generally clean and welcoming.. It would be better to have a comfortable place to sit prior to massage vs a hard wood bench. I was also skeptical of the curtains vs actual rooms but it really felt nice inside the room. Carolyn was amazing. She knew exactly how to work on my shoulders neck and low back. I just wish I had more time for a full body. I love the lavendar aroma therapy also and your front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. Expensive for a very weak massage . I'll never be returning , sticking to the Asian ladies. They were too gentle and soft I left feeling the exact same and there's no air flow my nose was stopped up the entire time . Also , got a 30 second foot rub . It has a unique selection of add on treatments, with options to sample and purchase on a wall display. There are also beautiful crystals and water as well as cucumber water. Upon meeting your masseuse, you enter a room flowing with pillows where she gathers your information. Then, you enter a huge room where the rooms are portioned with curtains. The rooms are dimly lit and have soft music playing. I opted for a healing massage with a scalp massage and heated neck and back wrap. It was phenomenal. It also included balancing of the chakras. Every time I visit the NOW Roswell, I feel compelled to write a new review. I went for it a few months ago and purchased a subscription for myself. I do one 80 min massage a month (I usually do The Healer but have also just done The NOW). I don't know what to say except that Sabrina (I always see her) has literally changed my life!! I've been to many many spas in my lifetime and have had many many MANY massages. I can honestly say that she is consistently the best massage therapist I've ever had. I think the reason is two-fold: 1. Natural talent and 2. She actually listens to what I'm saying!! So many times I've left a spa not relaxed or even just feeling the same as I went in, but actually a little worse and agitated because the massage therapist asked several questions and then proceeded to attack my body as though we hadn't even had the conversation. Sabrina is the exact opposite I've been so happy and feeling so much better that I actually just purchased a gift subscription for my adult son who has chronic shoulder/neck/back issues from so many years playing high school and collegiate sports. One last note: I have also seen 2 other therapists here who are fabulous!! The first time I had Marla and then I had Drew. They were actually the reason I purchased the subscription to begin with because they were both fabulous. Then just by happenstance they were both out one month and so I tried Sabrina... Yalllllll. I went here honestly because my other two places were booked and I really needed a massage. I remembered a friend of mine said this place was good so I booked. Omg. Drew was the most amazing massage therapist. I am a mother of a 1 year old and work full time and just needed to relax. I feel like he really listened to me and did everything he could to make that happen. Let me tell you I felt like 80 minutes wasn't even enough. I wanted to stay for another 80! Definitely try this place. Normally I'm a Woodhouse gal. This place doesn't have all the "frills" like champagne and a quiet room but I will definitely forego that for the excellent massage! read more
