I wanted to update my review now that I have been a patient for over a year. I had a hysterectomy at a different practice and my issues and complications after surgery were dismissed multiple times and I could not find a provider willing to help me for months. My friend suggested the obgyn center so i made an appointment. I began with Dr. Rosie who is an absolutely kind, precious, and smart woman who treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. She did what she could to help, and after a few visits she let me know my complicated condition needed an extra pair of hands, so she referred me to Dr. Mauban. This is so tremendous because I have seen plenty of providers who will just dump you as a patient when things get too complex, the fact that she kindly and gracefully handed me off to a doctor within the same practice truly made things so much easier. It made me feel cared for rather than dismissed like i usually am. I greatly appreciate that she didn't make me find a new doctor on my own and i truly appreciate her and would absolutely see her again! Dr. Mauban has been absolutely amazing in addressing every single issue that I have had. If we try something and it doesn't work, she keeps digging for answers until something works. She is also extremely kind and so smart, even when she delivers me bad news she says it in a kind and compassionate way, she makes things very clear and easy to understand while still remaining empathic and compassionate. She always makes me feel welcome, comfortable, and i leave my visits knowing what the plan is. This is one of the few doctors that i see who doesn't leave me stressed and uneducated after my visits. I leave here feeling hopeful and like we achieved something. I cannot say enough about how I appreciate both Dr. Rosie and Dr. Mauban. It takes a long time to get an appointment here, but i cannot stress enough that it is absolutely worth the wait because you will recieve the best quality of compassionate care. Both of these women are absolutely incredible. Nobody cares here. Volume practice. Unless you represent money (pregnancy), they won't do anything extra. It took them 6 months plus to resolve a simple condition by dragging it out instead of a resistance protocol. Sent me home with all bs medications, rescheduled my appointments and dragged on to the point where my pain and bleeding were absurd. I was then told to use OTC medications to manage my condition. Appointments are rushed and MA/docs are unprepared. Every time I stepped into the waiting room they had not looked at the chart at all. Very sad read more

My recent ObGyn had retired. Looking for new providers in the area on Yelp, The ObGyn Center was one of the first ones to populate on the search! The ObGyn Center is located off of W. Cheyenne and the 215. There are plenty of parking spots too! When I called to make an initial appointment, the onboarding process was relatively easy. They were able to get a new patient appointment in within 3 weeks. All of the paperwork, I was able to fill in online. It took about 20 minutes to complete! On the actual appointment date, I was able to check-in online as well! The process was super easy! My appointment was for 2:45 P.M on a Thursday. I ended up arriving around 2:00 just in case the team members at the ObGyn Center needed any additional information. It was super busy inside! Even though it was busy, the front desk was able to check me in and get me in early by 30 minutes! My new doctor, Raman, is fantastic! She is knowledgeable, and was very helpful! She was able to answer any questions I had and let me know that she wanted a follow-up appointment in January! There is a Quest Diagnostics on-site within the ObGyn Center. I had to get some bloodwork done. This process was a little bit lengthy. I had to go back out into the waiting room and wait for my name to get called for the bloodwork. There was only one team member there at the time, so I ended up waiting 30 minutes. Once I was in the Quest Diagnostics room, it took less than 5 minutes though! This is a great ObGyn if you're looking for a Ob-Gyn center in Las Vegas! The new patient process was seamless! read more

I am 30 and have never been to the OBGYN. I was really scared and I knew I needed to go but the entire process, especially seeing a new doctor, really intimidated me. I was referred to the OBGYN Center on Cheyenne by a friend and I am so happy I followed her recommendation. I saw Dr. Grace Bommarito and she is an angel. I was emotional at first due to fear but she told me step by step everything that would happen at the appointment and made it very clear she cared about my experience. I wish every doctor was as kind and compassionate as Dr. Bommarito. Every person who works here was considerate, professional and a joy to interact with, from the front desk, to billing, to the MA and the phlebotomists in the Quest office inside the practice. I am so grateful for their help and if you are nervous about Pap smears and exams, this is the right office to go to. read more

I want to commend and recognize Dr. Erika Mauban. As an African-American woman we are often not treated with respect, dignity, or concern our infant mortality rate reflects this. Dr. Mauban showed me so much care and respect that after the visit I thanked God I found her. She dug deep to find the reason behind my visit. Her compassion for my life was evident throughout our time together. I highly recommend this particular Ob/Gyn to any woman of color looking for dignity and respect. Dr. Mauban is a physician who is deeply interested in your care. Thank you, Dr. Mauban! I do have one recommendation and that is for the people that are upfront that they communicate clearly if a doctor's running late or is at the hospital with another patient. For my initial visit I was scheduled with another physician it was not (Dr. Mauban). I was not told she was running late or even if she would be available for me to see until after I approached the desk 30 minutes after my scheduled time. It worked out and I ended up being rescheduled with Dr. Erica Mauban and I'm very thankful for this. The people in the inner office behind the desk are quite friendly and kind. read more

I can't even begin to explain how incredible of a physician Dr. Mauban is. I was lucky enough to have her be the on call doctor that delivered my first baby and I truly believe that I could not have pushed out my son out without her. She was so kind, encouraging, helpful, and just made my experience so comfortable. I really consider it a blessing that I was able to have her by my side for my delivery as a first time mom. Everyone is always so amazing. From front office to back office, all the techs and providers. Even when I'm in distress or running late they always make space for anything I have going on. This place treats all their patients with the utmost respect and kindness. APRN Wragg is a wonderful provider and there is never a lapse in care between the teams. Update : I've already left a terrible review. But I went there to get the nexplanon it's SUPER expensive so I said if it's not 100% covered by my insurance I don't want it they said no it is we called. Cool. Like a year later I get a bill saying I owe them $750 (mind you I found a place with no insurance willing to put it in for 1200 so paying 750 is crazy with insurance. I message them on their patient portal and a month later I get a scam call but still answer it. It's some lady named Sandy. I thought she was selling something so I hang up. She calls back and leaves this nasty voicemail basically saying it's my insurances fault for lying and I need to take care of it and if I didn't want to deal with my responsibility and bill that's fine. It was rude and uncalled for when it was their mistake. It has been years I don't even have that insurance anymore. Thanks a lot. Sandy needs to be FIRED for being this rude to customers. read more

I've been going here for years! Excellent establishment and the only place I would go. I love the staff and the physicians at The ObGyn Center. Everyone has treated me well and has been very friendly. Just a side note, wait times can vary depending on how busy it is. There's times I've waited a while and times I've been seen quickly so I would plan accordingly. I've had Dr. Gondy deliver all 3 of my babies (which has been a great experience!) and I'm currently pregnant with baby #4. For my 4th pregnancy I have seen Dr. Erika Mauban for most of my appointments and she's been very sweet, supportive and attentive during every visit which I appreciate. I feel like she genuinely cares about her patients and their wellbeing. I have also met with Dr. Michaels & Rosie (NP) and they've been wonderful too! Even though I haven't met with everyone there, I'm sure everyone is just as pleasant and you would be well taken care of no matter who you see. First: this location recently moved from N. Tenaya to W. Cheyenne. Page address has changed but I was not made aware of the change as a patient until I received a same-day text reminder. I've been coming here for over a year now, first to confirm pregnancy and then throughout for all the required visits and scans, and now for a postpartum visit and annual exam. The staff here are kind and friendly, and they are more often running on time than not with appointments. The new location is large and clean, with a big lot. When I went, the signage was limited. The previous location had free wifi in the building available through another business, and I am bummed that the new location no longer has that available. I do appreciate that they offer phone/telehealth appointments when being physically present is not required, ie bloodwork review. This is helpful now that the new location is more out of the way. Throughout my many visits here, I was treated with care and compassion. The Quest lab/phlebotomist lady is super sweet, as is the nurse with the purple hair. I have mostly worked with Dr. Michaels and (NP?) Rosanna Piacentini. They have been great about actually listening to me and letting me ask questions. I had a previous pregnancy that did not result in a baby, and the staff were great about validating my fears about my second pregnancy. Now that I am postpartum, they're still attentive to my needs and doing regular bloodwork to make sure I am able to stay healthy and get support. I like that the have an after-hours text line to use for questions and emergencies, which I had to use a few times during my pregnancy. Unfortunately they were only responsive about half of the time. Their phone system is not my favorite, and it is hit or miss whether you can reach someone to ask a question or if you eventually get disconnected or have to leave a message. read more

Office consistently drops the ball on any quality of care, and does not go above and beyond for patients. They have lost and mishandled patient testing, and care. Requested medical records for the third time, and no response from their office and have yet to receive my records at the new office. Ensure practitioners do not use the same gloves they use to prep for your appointment ask them to switch gloves just before any physical examination. read more

Dr. Michaels is a wonder, compassionate yet tough love kind of Dr. I've been going to her since I was 13 and am now in my late 30's. I hope to one day if I decide to have children she will deliver them. I recommend her as she is professional, kind and shows empathy. read more

This office is HORRIBLE. I've been coming here for 3 years now, and ever since they moved locations, it's been nothing short of a nightmare. Dr Gondy performed extensive surgery on me and didn't even remember me as a patient when I've been to this office 10 plus times. The wait times are always long, the office has poor air circulation. I'm 5 months pregnant, and almost passed out in a back room after being forgotten about because they had no AC. They never sent referrals, truly such a hot mess. read more

No one responds to texts and emails even though they ask you to write questions to them like that. I got pregnant and when I went for my ultrasound the Dr danced around that it had no heart beat. She sent me home and I couldn't get another appointment because they were busy for 2 weeks. I went to an ultrasound place who told me the pregnancy ended and when I went back the dr couldn't see me until I told the front desk I would not leave because the importance of my health. I'm not going to lie, I was a little concerned about coming to this place because of the reviews I read, but since every experience is unique, I decided to give it a shot, as I needed care. I honestly do not regret it. I've been there twice and both times everything went smoothly. The first time, NP Anna Cibo explained everything clearly to me and performed the necessary tests with care. The second time was an immediate appointment and they made it work for me the same day. They let me know it could take a while for me to get called, but I was seen by Dr. Erika Mauban in less than 10 minutes, and within 20 minutes I was out. Dr. Erika was extremely soothing and reassuring, walking me through the process step-by-step. The front desk lady was super sweet, and the lady who checked me out was just as kind. I came to the OB-GYN center to look into some concerns and an IUD insertion. Through both appointments every person I spoke with was extremely supportive, soft spoken, and knowledgeable about every question I had. While the IUD insertion hurt as I expected, the staff gave me as much time as I needed and made me feel comfortable while I was in pain. I believe they did everything possible to make it as easy as possible for me. Both Dr. Piacentini and Dr. Mauban were amazing doctors to assist me and I would recommend them to anyone I came across. read more

The locations has since changed and is now off of Tenaya by all the medical buildings. Now to start, I have seen Dr. Gondy for over 10 years now and I will not go anywhere else. I recently saw that she moved from WHASN and knew that I had to make the switch. I dread annual exams but what makes all this doable is the amazing staff at the OBGYN center. Most of these lovely ladies made the switch when Gondy left WHASN and I love that they're all here now. It's a little farther for me than I like but I swear by this office and the wonderful staff. They make everything so easy and try to make the wait times not so horrific as most doctors. They truly listen to any concerns you may have. I would like to personally thank Dr. Ericka Mauban she made my delivery experience so great!! She encouraged me throughout the entire thing. She was patient with my body, due to babies heart rate increasing she let me know a c section could be possible but she waited it out and let me deliver vaginally. She gave words of affirmation as I was pushing which made me feel great as a first time mom. If I ever deliver again I would hope to have her as my delivery doctor which I know isn't possible because they are on call and labor can start at anytime . But I loved my experience with her. She explained everything so well and made my labor and delivery process a breeze ! I even went through shoulder dystocia and it was handled so great.
