I went to the butcher counter and told the butcher I wanted 2 pounds of lamb mince, and he went to grab a whole lamb, cut off the sections needed for the mince, and ground it right before my eyes ! It can't get any fresher than that. The chicken thighs were already cut and packaged but still look amazingly fresh. They have a small section of produce, huge amounts of tea from which to choose, all kinds of sweets and snacks, fresh flat breads, and so many other items from which to choose that I cannot even begin to name them all. I did not browse the store, I went straight to the produce section, and of the four available packages of Thai Basil, I found only one that was semi-acceptable. It did have several leaves which would have to be discarded, but I needed this item and this was the second store I visited for this item, so I decided to purchase it as is. The cost of one small package of Thai Basil was $4.00, which is very high for the quantity, especially compared to other Asian Markets. Overall, with the lack of good customer service, the high produce price, and the poor quality of the produce, I will not be returning to this store.
