    Swimming pool!
    Brian S.

The Oceanique continues to live on on A1A, nestled beachfront to Indian Harbour Beach. You can't miss the place with two main buildings featuring a rust, dark orange color, amidst a sea of white / cream colored buildings. The Oceanique is a vacation rental locale. The majority of guests are there through time share and/or week long vacation rental. The great thing about that is: you can stay at the Oceanique and be amongst guests who have a great fondness for the place, respect the establishment, and have been coming to the Oceanique - in some cases - for decades! The property sits right along a nice stretch of beach, not too far but comfortably far enough way from the public beach. The property and its pool is safe and protected. The Oceanique's pool is a respectable size with a deep end about 6'5" so younger kids can safely cannonball in. There is also a large clubhouse with staff on hand from the traditional 9-5. And I will say, one of the things I love about this property is that it is quiet but right next to a LOT of things to do - Walmart for vacation needs, downtown Melbourne, 13 miles from Cocoa Beach, liquor stores, ice cream shops, etc. LAST - and maybe most IMPORTANT- the Oceanique seems to be one the last and most affordable places. The down side of the Oceanique is that it is an aging property. I stay at a lot of time share / vacation rental spots and this property is by FAR one of the most dated! The TV's in the room are incredibly small, the Wi Fi is NOT great AT ALL, the property has NO events, programs for kids, the furniture, appliances, cabinets are all dated. And the beds in the guest rooms are not beds.... there "souped up" COTS! I can go on and on about the reality needing a million dollars into updating it.... BUT! It's a great place. It's conveniently located, it's small, all amenities are there though dated, the views of the ocean are killer, and since it is an older property the rooms are still very LARGE! So though I can easily give this property a 3 star, I will give it 4.

Great little beachside resort. Nice, big, clean suites with an ocean view. Friendly staff and only 24 suites. There's a potluck each week and other events where you can get to know your neighbors... or, you can always just go off on your own. The only real downside is the road noise from SR A1A.

The beach area is nice because of the location the beach is quieter than other areas.

Having more than enough IHG points to cover this stay was also a factor. The lobby is bright and welcoming, every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. The room was clean, cozy and had very comfortable beds. Best of all was the beach access. While we enjoyed the beach the evening we checked in we were entertained by a live band while we sipped drinks from the patio bar. There is a resort fee, was reasonable because it included a $10 that you could use at the bar, the commissary or the Starbucks in the lobby. I honestly have nothing negative to say about our stay. Can't wait to come back.

Shannon, your bartender, is exactly that. She is high‑speed, professional, and makes an outstanding coconut rum runner -- one of the best I've had. Her energy and skill set the tone for a great evening. The hostesses were also wonderful. When there was a bit of confusion with our order, they stepped in quickly, kindly, and made sure everything was handled. Their teamwork and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. My only recommendation: with the number of guests you're bringing in, please get more staff on board. You have some incredibly hard‑working people, and I'd hate to see them burned out. Everyone should be helping bus, clear, and support each other -- it makes a huge difference in service flow. Then there is Bri in valet, who stands out like a shining star. She has been helping me all week, getting the vehicle ready for my Hospice Service K9s in training. Her kindness, consistency, and professionalism are exceptional. Great job, Bri -- you made my stay easier every single day. The front desk staff has been sociable, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I appreciate that more than I can say -- it's not the same standard up and down the beach at other venues. A few suggestions for improvement: * Elevators: One elevator has been shaking noticeably, and another was stuck/not working. With the inspection due August 1st, I strongly recommend getting someone in to address this. Safety and comfort matter. * Staffing: As mentioned, increasing staff coverage would help maintain the high standard your team is clearly striving for. * A hot tub: This would be a fantastic addition and elevate the guest experience even further. The maintenance and cleaning staff have been all smiles and incredibly kind. That warmth makes a difference -- especially for guests staying multiple days. Overall, I've truly enjoyed my stay. You have some phenomenal employees who deserve recognition, and with just a few tweaks to support your growing numbers, the Crowne Plaza could easily be the standout hotel on the beach.

Free breakfast (really yummy), free wifi, free parking. All suites, and consistent style from one property to the next which is great because I like knowing I will sleep in a good bed at a hotel! The beds are super comfortable. They provide tea and a microwave for hot water, which can prove very important when you need your chamomile at night after a stressful day. The best part of this Residence Inn were the staff. From the front desk wonderful Shana, who welcomed us with a smile after a 4 hour drive in traffic, to the friendly ladies working to clean the rooms, to Ana, letting me know the best parts of breakfast service and providing me with fresh wonderful coffee. Shana at front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. She was very kind to my parents, making sure my dad knew where to get his espresso in the morning and she deserves a shout out for being so professional and continuing to make Marriott properties look good. Personally, I plan on coming back and staying here again and at other Residence Inn properties. They really do feel like a home away from home. One with a very comfortable bed.

The rooms have clearly been updated while still keeping some of the original décor, which gives it a bit of charm. I had a partial ocean view from my balcony and it was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breeze. The kitchen is small but worked great for my needs. There's no oven, but it does have a two-burner stove, microwave, sink for dishes, and about a 3/4-size fridge. It was stocked with all the dishes and utensils you'd need to cook a simple meal. There are good restaurants and shops nearby. Lots of shells on the beach. Plenty of large parking spots. Friendly employees.
