I had a recent experience where one of the tops was not attached to the entrée on the top so when I picked it up out of the sack, it all fell out on top of all of my other food . There no way that I would know that they forgot to attach the lid properly when I was taking it out to prevent that from happening so it got all over my food I had to throw away all of it and the other entrée was completely full of water and I don't know what that was about. Threw it out as well. However, things happen. I called the manager and let them know. They said we will refund your money. Well they didn't. I waited about a week and I called back just to inquiries to what happened. It was not a lot of money, but it was the principal. The manager said that the other manager was on vacation, but that he would get back with me by the end of the day and either refund me or send me some coupons. He doesn't have my address but did ask for my phone number both times. no call no refund . if you didn't wanna give me the money back for something that wasn't my fault you should've just said that to begin with. I often order water with lemon. They provided it with a skewer in the lemon, so I could pull it out and squeeze it. Nice touch so I don't have to put my fingers in the water I will drink. The side salad was very plain salad mix with a couple croutons. As I do most restaurants, I had to order an extra side of dressing. No problem. The salad was unimpressive and should've had at least a slice of tomato or two. The crab and lobster raviolis are always great. Simple, not too heavy. Amazing how a restaurant can always run out of food, but the Sherwood Old Spaghetti Factory at least is consistent. Not to mention that the To Go online ordering is atrocious. Already picked up my original order and came back for more sauces and bread (which happens frequently) and instead of the usual pints, we receive 6 ounce "shots" of sauce and maybe a gram of mizithra cheese. $25 for 3 loaves of bread and maybe two servings of sauce. I continue to give them the benefit of the doubt, but eventually, enough is enough. The junior staff wouldn't even consider a discount or anything as customer service. I couldn't even refuse the order I paid for because they "already handed me the bag". I love my OSF, but the Sherwood location needs a complete overhaul. I have been coming to OSF since 1998 and the quality and service has gone down considerably, especially at this location. Sad because it had such high expectations. WORST service I have ever had!!! We were celebrating my mom's 85th bday with 8 of us. We had the WORST server I have ever had in my entire life. I think her name was Penny. We had to ask for everything over and over, and every time we would ask for something we previously asked for, everyone just shakes their head yes, and nothing happens. At the end of the dinner, we wanted to do the cake, do a toast and open gifts, so I asked our server if she could please clear off the table of all the dishes and give us to go containers for our food, so we could have a clean table for photos and opening gifts, etc. Instead, she brought us the check. After asking many other staff if they could please bus the table, still no response. All of the servers look like they are 14 years old. I am blown away by the horrible service we received. My step-daughter and I finally had to push all of the dirty dishes to the end of the table in a big heap, so we could continue on with the event. We had dessert and plates, but no utensils or napkins, I asked for 8 champagne glasses, so she brought 4 and let us rinse out our wine glasses with the water on our table....the list goes on and on. As soon as we got up to leave, THEN the guy I asked to bus our table earlier came around to remove the mountain of dishes from our table. It was SO BAD. Everyone kept looking at us like we had 8 heads, whenever we asked for normal things like napkins, silverware, parm cheese, to go boxes. Truly, it was an extremely strange and annoying experience. At one point, I looked towards the doorway, and it looked like the entire server team was standing in the doorway looking at us, even though the restaurant didn't close for another 1.5 hours. I just want to take a moment to shout out our server Megan. My family and I came in last week after our reservation at another restaurant got cancelled last minute due to a safety issue at the place, and OSF got us seated quickly. Even with no reservation, Megan handled our party of 14 BY HERSELF so wonderfully. She was so sweet, made sure everyone was taken care of, and handled it like a pro. I would've been so stressed in her shoes, but she was amazing. We were in a bit of a time crunch, and she even took the initiative to give us updates every few minutes on how our food was doing timewise, so we wouldn't be stressed. I've been to a lot of Old Spaghetti factories, this is probably the smallest and saddest one I've been to. It just didn't have any energy and wasn't decorated like the other ones. The waitress was nice but never came back and refilled drinks and when we asked for bread and she said there is a charge for it since we just had kid meals and I ate side dishes since I'm not eating pasta. My favorite thing here is the huge platter of broccoli, butter and mizithra cheese. There was hardly any butter on this one though but the broccoli was perfectly cooked. It's been a while since I've been to the Old Spaghetti Factory. I have never previously been to this location. Things are starting to open up but we opted to sit on the patio. As it was early, we were the only ones out there. It's not the most scenic of patios a view of the parking lot, the Red Robin, and the hum of overhead powerlines but nice to be outside nonetheless. The server was quick and helpful. Our orders came quickly. Everything tasted good and it was as I remembered it from the days of old. The portions were plentiful and we were able to have our leftovers for dinner. I will definitely stop back again. Good location. read more

My family and I had an appointment shortly after lunch so we had to find someplace where we can sit-down and enjoy lunch together. I'm so glad that we were able to eat inside the Spaghetti Factory and that some of the COVID restrictions have been eased a bit to allow dine-in. The food was fantastic and our waitress was so kind. I forgot her name but she was very friendly and attentive. You couldn't make-out her face because she had a covering and was wearing a Hijab. I had the Fettucine Alfredo with chicken, my daughters had the Chicken Marsala and Spinach and Cheese Ravioli, and my wife had the Meat Lovers Treat which came with spaghetti, meatballs and sausage. You also get a complimentary loaf of bread that we easily went through and asking for a 2nd loaf was no problem at all. We were seated in a booth by our friendly waitress and we had 4 in our party and the seating was large enough to accomodate our size. I saw some folks eating out in the patio as well so that's an option and there are other seating arrangements that can hold slightly larger groups of possibly up to 6. The facilities were very clean. My only regret is that I wish we were able to bring some of our food home with us but had to leave it behind because we had a plane to catch 4 hours later but we did get through 3/4th's of it. Let me start off by saying the food here as at any location of this chain is usually a three or four star. My particular favorite is and always has been the side of broccoli. The butter the mythra cheese it's just the same and it's delicious every time. Another recent secret menu if you will is to ask for the garlic butter. For some reason not really offered. If we don't eat the bread at the table or if they give us a second loaf we take it to go and ask for the garlic butter to go. Pro tip I guess. So here is where the loss of stars comes. You are always greeted at the front desk. Do you have a reservation? (Sometimes I have others I have not) it makes no difference. You are told it will be a 10-15 minute wait or longer. Everytime once you get called back the restaurant is half empty with plenty of tables available. No idea what we were waiting for. No large crowds came out. The tables are cleared and reset. Okay but then under the table is never clean. Always a napkin or two and some food remnants. This is the weirdest thing. So they have these little servers stations. We did not notice the first couple of times however, the servers seem to take a rest there and bend down We asked for a new cheese shaker from a passer by server. So our server comes back with a full shaker but then the other waiter also comes back with a cheese shaker. We asked for water, straws, keep getting both from our server and the other server we asked on multiple visits. So we were laughing about it and for some reason stood up to see a server squatting down but clearly listening to our conversation. So we talked about the garlic butter and sure enough without us asking the server comes back with garlic butter. I don't know just a little creepy and entertaining. read more

Went tonight and asked to sit in the bar, was told there would be a 20 min wait, when we asked to sit at the bar too we were told we could, but couldn't order food. Not allowing food service while serving alcohol is illegal in Oregon... so I would definitely recommend checking your Oregon law before telling people they can drink but not order food. I have been trying to organize an event here, and the event co ordinator Alex was very nice to work with, she was kind and respectful and we were able to establish what we were able to do with in the confines of the restaurant set up. Alex then was off work for a few days and so Tim P takes over..... I would have to say that Tim as an Assistant General Manager has ALOT to learn on manners and being respectful to potential customers. Even though I had made a date mistake his attitude over an email and then the phone was condescending and rude. I am VERY happy to take my event somewhere else and deal with someone who knows what customer service actually means. read more

My goddaughter (let's call her Amy)joined us and she's a pretty picky eater and she doesn't eat much meat). When we arrived, our server was super brusque, acting like the restaurant was packed full, which on a Tuesday at 5:30, it wasn't. Brought our drinks and wanted to take our order immediately- when we hardly had a chance to look at the menu. They were out of the spinach ravioli that Amy wanted and she was having a hard time finding a second choice. The server seemed very annoyed at the delay. Amy ordered the Mac and cheese and it looked like something that came out of a box with neon orange cheese. She couldn't even eat it. The server took my wife's salad plate away while she was still eating it. Then asked if we needed boxes while people were still eating. At the end, when she asked if anyone wanted ice creamer I wanted to confirm for Amy if one of the choices was sherbet (which it was, which was fine) and again, she acted like we were taking way too much of her time and that she was in a huge rush. Great place to get meals for kids! They have a great selection at reasonable prices. Of course the adult entrees are fantastic as well! Mizithra and brown butter? YES PLEASE!! Also Spumoni for dessert is very good and their warm bread is wonderful. Been there a couple times more and no issues there. Love it. We go to the Spaghetti Factory every year for our kids' birthdays. Usually the Macadam location but do to our son's football schedule, this year we decided on the Sherwood location. Never again. I never write Yelp reviews, but here I am. I made a reservation for 15 on the Wednesday before my son's Saturday birthday. Or so I thought. 15 of us rolling in on Saturday for a 5:30 reservation, they say they don't have it. I provided proof of my call because they immediately think I'm lying as if I'd have 15 people come to Sherwood for a pretend reservation. Nick was the manager on call that night. Nobody made any move to try and accommodate us for their mistake. We understood that inside they didn't have room, fine. I asked if we could sit outside on the patio. I was told no because it's 21 and over. There were two people outside and our entire party would have made up the rest of the space. So instead of just letting us sit there for a couple of hours and overlook the 21 and over and their mistake, they looked me in the face and said no. Again, we go to this establishment every year for my son's birthday, but after this I'm questioning our decision. Figure it out, help a customer, make it happen. I want to give a kudos to Sherwood's "The Old Spaghetti Factory", for an experience I had on Mother's Day. This location recently started take out orders again, and we were excited to take advantage on Mother's Day. We had our daughter and her family over, and we each ordered food for a 5:00 PM Pickup. The order system error'd out and so just my daughters family had their order entered and delivered, but my order was nowhere to be found. I sent them home to eat hot food and waited, and by the time I arrived with the other meals, they were all done eating. Not ideal, right? Why my good review? Well The Spaghetti Factory made the best of a bad situation. They were very empathetic to our situation and apologized for the mishap. They put my order to the top of the list, and financially made it right. They really went above to make sure that I was as happy as possible for the very unfortunate system error.
