We always enjoy this restaurant while we stay the night at Embassy Suites. We love the open environment, casual, yet classic. The service was amazing, from the bartender to our great server Maria! She was attentive and provided options when we couldn't make up our minds. I really LOVED the Chimichurri Rubbed Local Salmon! The lemon sauce was delicious. I also tasted the Charbroiled bone in 16oz Rib Eye and that was also wonderful. The flavor of the meat and potatoes were incredible. read more

Chicken Wings in Korean BBQ sauce: 3/5. It came out in Buffalo sauce! Not cool. Calamari: 0/5. Please skip. It looks like they bought the calamari steaks and make strips out of it. Not the typical calamari you would expect. Seafood chowder: 2/5. Shrimps were mushy. A lot of potatoes, but some were not fully cooked. Very little crab. But hey, at least it was warm. Mule: 3.5/5. Stopped in for dumpling week because their choice sounded delicious. It was a hotel restaurant, which wasn't immediately clear for us looking at the dumpling week website. The dumplings were bad, they tasted microwaved. There were only a few people in, but the service took a long time as well. I'd definitely pass on this place unless you're staying at the hotel and looking for convenience. read more

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. We ordered calamari that was over cooked. The wings were just ok. Also ordered the chowder that had no taste at all. Had the salmon as well little flavor and undercooked.. It had a nice bar area with lots of drink options unfortunately food was not good at all. read more

Pretty laid back and mellow. The calamari was amazing. Fish tacos were Meh tastes very bland. the cocktails I got were good. Was able to order something off the menu which was awesome!!!! You're mostly paying for the luxury of not having to leave the hotel in order to eat. But in terms of price it's not worth it. Food is pretty mediocre. Drinks were the best part! For the cost of what I paid I could've stayed here another night at the hotel will definitely be back to get more drinks will probably pass on the food next time though read more

I ordered room service for a dinner. I ordered Northwest seafood chowder soup, Turkey avocado club sandwich and Chocolate cake. OMG~ huge dinner came in! Seafood chowder was so good and lots of chunky seafood for only $4. Try it! Sandwich come with fries and I ordered sweet potatoes fries. You can eat with someone together. Huge size. Services are good and nice manner. I stay few days and try some food at bar next time I gave 4 stars yesterday but 3 stars today. I went to bar area and found a nice table near by. I already knew what I wanted to order. So I ordered Salmon stuffed with their famous crab and Sautéed Mushrooms & green beans with roasted red peppers. I was waiting for 35 mins.... came a nice meal. Taste was good. But service lady was so slow and no attention to me. I wanted to more water and get a bill. I have to walk to her and gave her my card to pay quickly. It's the house restaurant of an Embassy Suites which has several conference rooms. The restaurant has a large bar and pink spot lights giving it an odd strip joint ambience. The tables against the wall all have electric outlets which is not surprising in a business hotel. Menu is large for a mid level hotel restaurant. The basic burger which is all I ever order in this type of restaurant was well made with a soft roll the way I like. The meat was moist and fries crisp. Hit the spot after a long day without needing to leave the premises. read more

I chose Cascadia for dinner tonight for Mother's Day because it is new and we had never been. The reviews I read were good. I invited a friend with us whose mom recently passed away so he wouldn't be alone. I read the menu and it looked good. I booked our reservation on opentable.  We got to the restaurant a little early. I didn't know where to check in and ended up asking someone at the bar. I told them we had 5 instead of 4 which they said was fine. I went to tell my family as we were sitting where all the tables were. Had I not gone back up I wouldn't have known our table was ready. I ordered the calamari which is one of my favorite things. When we got it, it was way over cooked. My husband stepped away and my friend and I ordered our food. Wanted to get the kids food in. I ordered the cheeseburger well done for my one son. My friend ordered the Cascadia burger medium rare, asked to add avocado. The server didn't know if it could be done. I ordered the fish and chips.  My husband came back and ordered the same burger. I also ordered a salad. My husband who ordered last got his food. The burger was supposed to have Sriracha aioli on it. It was completely dry. He could barely eat it. I got my food and one of the pieces of fish looked like someone took a bite out of it. It was also soggy and not crisp.  It took a while for my son to get his burger and my friend to get his. My husband was finished and I was almost done. I cut my sons burger in half and it was medium rare. My friends burger did have the avocado and his was well done. They forgot his bacon and by the time he got it, the burger was cold and it didn't have the aioli either. When I mentioned it to the server she said she would go talk to someone. She came back and said the only thing she could do is to offer us one dessert, which I thought was nice but didn't offer my friend one since his burger wasn't correct. She didn't ask if the bill was together or separate. My husband gave her a $100 bill for our $80 bill. Had my husband not ask for change she would have walked off with a $20 tip. She didn't ask him if he wanted change. Overall we were not happy with our experience. read more

Came here for a late snack around 10pm. They were open till 11pm on Sunday night. They have pizza that is not on the menu, the server offered cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian and meat lovers. We opted for the on menu items: chipotle tater tots, tilamook grilled cheese on brioche and the gouda mac n cheese. For $6 there are enough tater tots easily for 4 people to share, we were only 2 people and love tater tots but couldnt finish them all and try to eat anything else. Grilled cheese was good and very filling, I also had tater tots with my entree. Gouda macaroni and cheese, although it was a side it was very large! Definitely plenty for most especially if you got stated with the tater tots. Note they have good ranch! The server was very sweet. read more

The food is your average type from a hotel restaurant. For an embassy suites though, I'm happy they had this option. With the snowy weather outside, the place was packed. The servers provided great customer service. Lisa was fantastic and went out of her way to take us through the menu. I didn't really feel the host was friendly to us which made us think twice about eating there. What's good though was they let you order at the tables in the atrium and get your food served there. So we did that. 4 stars - Harvest Salad. Simple greens, cranberries, hazelnuts, almonds, cranberries, and goat cheese. This one was dressed with a light vinaigrette. I liked this best. The combination of toppings make for a flavor balanced salad. Sweet, sour, crunchy, and creamy. 3 stars - Sweet potato fries. Perfectly fried with a crisp outside and soft inside. They were cut the classic style, in between thick and thin. 1 star - Angel hair pasta pomodoro. Fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil. This one said it came with a light white wine and olive oil sauce. But I didn't know they would drown the dish in white wine. The pasta sat on top of a pool of the liquid. When I ate the pasta, the alcohol was very strong. When adding wine to a pasta sauce, it's critical to cook out the alcohol so you're left with the sweet vinegary taste of the wine. That was the opposite here. All I could taste was alcohol. I couldn't eat more than 4 bites. Overall, it was a convenience to have this restaurant in the hotel so we didn't have to venture into the inches of snow. I'd come back for the salad, but for not much of else. read more

We stayed at the embassy years ago and it was much better when it had a koi pond and waterfall although they do have a free happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 which is awesome. Unfortunately after my mother ordered their $50 ribeye steak and they served it burnt to a crisp. It tasted like absolute doodoo!!! The steak, potato's, and jus, was all burnt. After we asked the restaurant to fix it Kyle the server decided it was a good idea to give us attitude before asking his "manager what to do?". Luckily the manager was actually smart and fixed their mistake. The snooty bar tender also decided to jump in and voice their opinion which was as crappy as the taste of their overpriced steak. Don't come here unless you like to pay more for something less than mediocre. read more

Was here last week and had great coctails and an awesome french dip. Would have easily given it 5 stars. Been siiting at a table tonight for 15 minutes and havent heard a soul from anyone. Going to average this out at 3 stars, but I am here all week for work. We will see how they do. Going to leave now and walk across the street to see if I can get some service. read more

Foods okay, drinks overpriced, and service is so slow they would appear uninterested in operating a restaurant/bar.

Ordered in room service. Overall disappointing based on pictures and reviews opinion. Hamburger was good but fries were sad. Grilled cheese was tasty but the bread was ridiculous thick. I don't know if it was supposed to be whimsical but I was not amused. And the "roasted tomato" side with balsamic was microwaved and inedible. Service was fast. It's good! Not a wide variety but what they have is good. If you're looking for fast service this is not it, but it is relaxing and the drinks good. Clean and nice atmosphere. If your staying at the hotel you can charge your meal. Nice kids menu. I will come back! Enjoy!! read more

Amazing dinner. I had the hangover burger with sweet potato fries and it was very reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. I ordered at the bar and it was ready within 15 minutes and I ate in peace in my room. If you are staying here and are debating whether or not you want to drive out for dinner on a long business trip, do yourself a favor and order here and get some more sleep before your flight. read more

OMG the seafood chowder is to die for! We've been sampling chowders all over Oregon for one week now and this one is by far and away the best. Even better than Driftwood in Cannon Beach, and that one really hit the spot after a transcontinental flight. It contains CHUNKS of salmon plus other seafood. We will return for more! DON"T go here. Walk down the road to the mall where even the food court has better food. We went last weekend and arrived about 12:30 for lunch. One other table occupied. We left an hour and a half later. But the food came 10 minutes before we left, cold and in 2 deliveries so that my husband's came after mine by 10-15 minutes. The poor server apologized many times but it didn't seem to make a difference. They should have comped the whole thing. The food was nothing special - I expected more based on ratings, photos on line, and that it is part of the Hilton chain. What a lousy experience. read more

We decided not to cook this Thanksgiving so we went to Cascadia for their Thanksgiving dinner. They were serving their regular menu and a Thanksgiving menu with choice of traditional turkey dinner or prime rib, with traditional Thanksgiving sides. 3 of us had the Thanksgiving prime rib dinner and my husband had charbroiled salmon and their Caesar style salad with roasted corn. The protein portions were generous and cooked as ordered. The sides were disappointing. The green beans were barely cooked, tasting quite raw and unseasoned. The mashed potatoes were very heavy and had no gravy and little if any seasoning. The stuffing was average and the Tablespoon of cranberry relish was average as well. The seafood chowder was hearty and my friends said quite good. My butternut squash soup was good. Dessert was pumpkin pie or caramel cheesecake. Both were good. I don't think I would go there again for Thanksgiving. The atmosphere was too "sports bar" for a holiday meal. Service was adequate. read more
