Relaxing after long day... and I ordered pinot Grigio... funny when I sip the wine, it is so familiar...

I like the ambiance, and the caprese salad was tasty... The bar tender was nice and accommodating. I had a great time.

Had the special and was great. Could have used more pineapple in the rice. Bit was quite suprised

Service was good. A little slow. Wasn't sure where to sit good food. Xxxxxxxxxx

I ordered room service for a dinner. I ordered Northwest seafood chowder soup, Turkey avocado club sandwich and Chocolate cake. OMG~ huge dinner came in! Seafood chowder was so good and lots of chunky seafood for only $4. Try it! Sandwich come with fries and I ordered sweet potatoes fries. You can eat with someone together. Huge size. Services are good and nice manner. I stay few days and try some food at bar next time I gave 4 stars yesterday but 3 stars today. I went to bar area and found a nice table near by. I already knew what I wanted to order. So I ordered Salmon stuffed with their famous crab and Sautéed Mushrooms & green beans with roasted red peppers. I was waiting for 35 mins.... came a nice meal. Taste was good. But service lady was so slow and no attention to me. I wanted to more water and get a bill. I have to walk to her and gave her my card to pay quickly. Food was good but service was poor.

It's the house restaurant of an Embassy Suites which has several conference rooms. The restaurant has a large bar and pink spot lights giving it an odd strip joint ambience. The tables against the wall all have electric outlets which is not surprising in a business hotel. Menu is large for a mid level hotel restaurant. The basic burger which is all I ever order in this type of restaurant was well made with a soft roll the way I like. The meat was moist and fries crisp. Hit the spot after a long day without needing to leave the premises.

The burger my husband got that shows the burger was suppose to have sauce on it.

I chose Cascadia for dinner tonight for Mother's Day because it is new and we had never been. The reviews I read were good. I invited a friend with us whose mom recently passed away so he wouldn't be alone. I read the menu and it looked good. I booked our reservation on opentable.  We got to the restaurant a little early. I didn't know where to check in and ended up asking someone at the bar. I told them we had 5 instead of 4 which they said was fine. I went to tell my family as we were sitting where all the tables were. Had I not gone back up I wouldn't have known our table was ready. I ordered the calamari which is one of my favorite things. When we got it, it was way over cooked. My husband stepped away and my friend and I ordered our food. Wanted to get the kids food in. I ordered the cheeseburger well done for my one son. My friend ordered the Cascadia burger medium rare, asked to add avocado. The server didn't know if it could be done. I ordered the fish and chips.  My husband came back and ordered the same burger. I also ordered a salad. My husband who ordered last got his food. The burger was supposed to have Sriracha aioli on it. It was completely dry. He could barely eat it. I got my food and one of the pieces of fish looked like someone took a bite out of it. It was also soggy and not crisp.  It took a while for my son to get his burger and my friend to get his. My husband was finished and I was almost done. I cut my sons burger in half and it was medium rare. My friends burger did have the avocado and his was well done. They forgot his bacon and by the time he got it, the burger was cold and it didn't have the aioli either. When I mentioned it to the server she said she would go talk to someone. She came back and said the only thing she could do is to offer us one dessert, which I thought was nice but didn't offer my friend one since his burger wasn't correct. She didn't ask if the bill was together or separate. My husband gave her a $100 bill for our $80 bill. Had my husband not ask for change she would have walked off with a $20 tip. She didn't ask him if he wanted change. Overall we were not happy with our experience.

Came here for a late snack around 10pm. They were open till 11pm on Sunday night. They have pizza that is not on the menu, the server offered cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian and meat lovers. We opted for the on menu items: chipotle tater tots, tilamook grilled cheese on brioche and the gouda mac n cheese. For $6 there are enough tater tots easily for 4 people to share, we were only 2 people and love tater tots but couldnt finish them all and try to eat anything else. Grilled cheese was good and very filling, I also had tater tots with my entree. Gouda macaroni and cheese, although it was a side it was very large! Definitely plenty for most especially if you got stated with the tater tots. Note they have good ranch! The server was very sweet.

Was here last week and had great coctails and an awesome french dip. Would have easily given it 5 stars. Been siiting at a table tonight for 15 minutes and havent heard a soul from anyone. Going to average this out at 3 stars, but I am here all week for work. We will see how they do. Going to leave now and walk across the street to see if I can get some service.

They shut the restaurant down and had last call 38 minutes before closing time. Will not return.

Foods okay, drinks overpriced, and service is so slow they would appear uninterested in operating a restaurant/bar.

Absolutely lunch was a wonderful change of culinary pace that I am excited to try again soon. This restaurant was recommended to me by some friends I hold as having excellent taste. All they mentioned was French inspired or French fusion, and knowing I haven't been to many of those my wife and I went here without looking at the menu. Looking at the menu, I'll tell you that it was not what I expected so much so that I forgot to take pictures of it because I spent all my time trying to decide what I wanted. I think not looking anything up was probably the best decision I could've made because that led to us choosing some dishes that I think we normally wouldn't have ordered. We tried to steam cheeseburgers, the steak, tartar, garlic, fries, foie gras dumplings, and gnocchi. Also got some specialty drinks. Service was amazing, if I was really nice, did not take too much time at all to get food, and the food itself was special. (Specials is the best word I can use to describe discovering new flavors, my age ) Two thumbs up, will be coming back again, and excited to try everything on the menu! Also, note that they do have some parking in the front of the building so if you're going for lunch, try there first instead of worrying about parking blocks away.

If you only hit one craft cocktail bar on your visit to Portland, make it this one…read more Wax Social is a speakeasy and vinyl listening lounge tucked inside a Best Western in the West Hills.. and I mean that in the best way possible. Super moody lighting, hundreds of framed musician photos covering every wall, warm comfortable seating, and a custom hi-fi sound system that will rearrange your expectations for what a speakeasy bar and listening lounge can be. It's a hidden gem in the most literal sense: no signage on the outside and nothing to tip you off as you enter the building. To find Wax Social you walk through the hotel lobby at 9900 SW Canyon Rd, up a staircase left of the registration desk, and look around until you find a frosted glass door marked "Listening Lounge." Open it. You'll be glad you did. Start with the cocktails. The menu is split between elevated timeless classics and original house creations, and both sections of this cocktail menu can bang. The King of Pain is rum-forward and finished with an orange coconut foam that looks as good as it tastes. The Watermelon Man showcases Japanese gin and elderflower in a refreshing and complex profile that's hard not to love. The Sweetest Taboo is a mezcal drink built around blue maize, red bell pepper, pineapple, and lime that hits that rare combination of bold and perfectly balanced. Light My Fire brings blanco tequila and Ancho Reyes together with habanero bitters for real depth. If you want to wander off-menu, they can handle that flawlessly too. Over several visits I've enjoyed a Paper Plane, Tommy's Margarita, Gimlet, Last Word, Too Soon, and others, all executed perfectly. On one visit, the guy next to me at the bar was visiting Portland from Sweden and ordered a Flip. I've been to a lot of craft cocktail bars and never heard someone order one. Clayton, one of the bartenders, didn't blink. Went right to work making a luxurious Flip from memory that the customer couldn't stop raving about. I was impressed. Clayton is also working on several rum-forward cocktails coming to the menu later this summer - I love rum drinks enough to say that sitting at the bar talking shop and the concepts he's tinkering with is worth a visit on its own. Full mocktail lineup, plus wine, bubbles, and craft beers. Now about the sound system. DJs spin all-vinyl sets of funk, soul, R&B, and deep cuts across decades on a custom hi-fi setup that sounds absolutely incredible. Even when the DJ is in full flow and the music is turned up, you can still hold an easy conversation with a group of six or eight people. I've been there with a large group in the back corner on couches and comfortable chairs and everyone kept commenting on it. The music is present and powerful and somehow never swallows the laughter and conversation happening around you. They clearly built this bar around the music. The food is a genuine surprise for a craft cocktail lounge. Think small plates/tapas in terms of dining style: you come for the drinks and next thing you know you've ordered half the menu, made a dinner of it, and somehow backed into a beautiful evening of food, drink, and music. Must-orders: ahi poke nachos, deviled eggs, braised pork gnocchi. Don't overlook the shaved asparagus and white bean salad with sherry vinaigrette, Manchego, and crispy shallots. Simple and elegant and every bit as good as the more indulgent plates. Steak bites and shrimp are worth ordering too. Bring friends so you can order more and share. Owners Sean and Travis are present most nights, greeting you at the door and checking in at your table. That care shows in everything here, including a staff that knows how to read the room. A few things worth knowing: parking is easy, the location is simple to reach from Portland or Beaverton, and the bathrooms are spotless. Open late on weekends. Whether you're planning a romantic date night in Portland, a special occasion, a group night out, or just a solo evening at the bar with someone who really knows cocktails, this is your spot. Among the best craft cocktail and listening lounge experiences in the greater Portland metro area. You've gotta check it out.

The atmosphere is such a vibe. there's always a great DJ, making it perfect for either a date night or a girls night out. The menu is made up of smaller plates, which makes it so much fun to order a variety of dishes and share with the table. The menu was a little different each time I visited, and honestly, there wasn't a single thing I didn't enjoy. The drinks are SO good, and everything is beautifully plated. Yes please and thank you!!! My daughter got vegan nachos with vegan cheese and added jalapeno. My son got vegan nachos with just beans and vegan cheese. My son got RC cola and my daughter asked for an Italian Soda. The staff is SO caring and kind and I honestly feel like I'm at a friend's house except that I'm being served. We started working on the game and instructions and one of the lovely ladies came over and said that Italian Soda usually has milk in it (I never knew this!!) And she said she noticed we were vegan so would we like it without? I said yes please!! I thought that was SO considerate!! My son doesn't usually eat as well as his sister, and if she has ANY type of Mexican food she eats twice as much, if not more, than he will. So while I ordered her a full nacho, I ordered him a half order. He wanted more so on the second order the other lovely lady suggested salsa (which I encouraged and said yes to,) as they had run out of dairy free cheese. He tried the salsa but in typical fashion, pouted and said NO I didn't want it on all of the nachos. (insert mom sigh and heavy eye roll.) The sweet lady overheard us and said I can remake it if he would prefer that. And he said yes please. And then he said "wow they are so caring and nice here! That was so kind to offer that!" To which I said YES you're right!! By the end of our evening both kids were saying they loved Senet because the staff are SO kind and friendly. And they loved playing games and the food. 5 stars for a family fun night Senet!! We will be back!
