We ordered online. We ordered gnocchi, ravioli, bread sticks and pizza. The pizza is the only thing we liked and ate. The gnocchi was gummy and the meat sauce smelled like it was starting to spoil. The meat ball with the ravioli didn't taste like there was any meat in it. The cheese filling in the ravioli was good but we couldn't eat the pasta dough because it was overcooked. Again the sauce smelled bad. The bread sticks had no flavor at all. We tried dipping it in the red sauce that came with it. It was bland and watered down. A very bad experience. As a regular customer, I was surprised when I went there on July 14 for my husband's birthday. They usually delicious food was simply awful. We both got fettuccine Alfredo and it was a bowl of noodles with a watery cheese sauce on the bottom of the bowl. The salad, which is usually very fresh and good obviously came out of a refrigerator with that cold freezer consistency. Only one waitress running around like crazy. We will need to celebrate his birthday someplace else! read more

I waited an hour for an online order I placed amongst others, and while it was not the hostess's fault, if the restaurant is "bombarded with takeout", perhaps there is a way to let the public know so more orders don't keep getting placed. Maybe an online posting, a voice recording over the phone, etc. it was very frustrating ESPECIALLY when people who walked in 30 minutes after me left with their food before me. I ended up going up to the hostess station and asking for a refund. I never left with my order. Fortunately they did refund me full price. However, I hope they find some sort of way to either alert people of the current situation if this happens again, or just decline to take further orders if they become that backed up. read more

The atmosphere is alway's welcoming, you can usually get in without Reservation, I suggest getting Reservation whenever you have large party, it's so close to where were live, we usually see our friends and neighbors, the food is amazing, they have full bar service available, alway's kind and courteous, the price is very reasonable, the Restaurant is very very clean, we usually leave with takeout for the next day too, because their portions are so large. @ Brenda Burns read more

They come super close to hitting all the right things that would make me rate them a 5. Really nice outdoor seating area that's pet friendly. Excellent Italian fare. (They're one of my favorite pizzas around.) Friendly and respectful staff. And their beer selection is good...just a little small. They have 8 taps and generally have good craft brews available on a few of them. More local taps and they'd be a 5 for me. Went with 4 friends to this restaurant .After a long wait we asked how much longer and was told a second cook was coming and they are starting our order. The food started being served after 1 hour wait. Italian wedding soup served cold, Pasta Siderno cold and dry. One friend had to wait an additional 20 minutes for her eggplant parmigiana. I ordered a Pizza Di Parma - "One Of Our House Favorites" to go. Waitress said it was coming out of the oven when she brought my check. When I got to my vehicle the box was cold so I felt the bottom of the crust. It was not even warm. The waitress said she couldn't do anything to help the situation be cause the manager Brea was not in and she wasn't going to be there tomorrow either. Last time we will go there and apologizing continuously with the offer to remake the food that was brought if we had the time to wait was offered. Would have liked her to notice the dishes were cold when she picked them up would have been better than waiting to see if we would notice. read more

Food is out of this world, atmosphere is welcoming and has a fancy fine dining vibe while also being a casual place you can enjoy a meal with friends. Every aspect of Pasqualino's is excellent. This place is a favorite of my family's, since it opened on Clay Pike Road. Now I would not put it into a category with a couple higher end Italian places in the area, but if you want a place with consistent food quality, then this place is your place. My 4 star rating is based on what I wrote in the previous two paragraphs. This establishment is a solid quaint joint with friendly employees, solid food, and nice atmosphere. I ate here on Saturday 9/10/22 with my daughter. We both had soup and pasta. My daughter had wedding soup and the ravioli. I had minestrone soup, and the pasta siderno with whole wheat pasta. Daughter said it was the best wedding soup and I liked the minestrone. Highly recommend Pasqualinos if you want a nice family restaurant for a quick pizza, lunch , or dinner, then this may be your place. I guess they're trying to save money by not turning the air conditioning on. It was 90 degrees outside and just as hot inside. We can't dine without AC, but the mouse that ran past us didn't seem to mind the heat. When we told the waitress about the mouse headed for the kitchen she didn't seem surprised. The food here is spectacular. The environment really feels like home. The food is Italian American style but you can tell it's made in the kitchen unlike a place such as Olive Garden. Servers were kind and made us feel like we were important to them. read more

Great neighborhood place! Newish location on Clay Pike, cozy and friendly. Great service by Allison! Went with another couple and had a wonderful time. They ordered family size stuffed shells which came with meatballs and had enough to take home for a second meal. Mike had the eggplant mezzaluna and ordered zucchini for the table. New location for this nice Italian eatery in a small strip mall at 2021 Clay Pike Road, Irwin, PA. Easy access and parking. Along with being a relaxed atmosphere, the wait staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. A lot of variety, with great stuffed hot pepper appetizer and the penne fra diavalo was excellent. They offer different sizes in their entrees and the small plate was plentiful - get the large for plenty of leftovers. We will definitely return. Price is also very reasonable. Only slight drawback is that it's currently a dry establishment. No loss. read more

Ate here yesterday and the food which was previously very good was just passable. Started with Cesar salad , not mixed, a bottled Cesar on side, not what I expect in a Italian restaurant. The fried zucchini was good. The linguine with clams had very little taste and was over spaghetti noodles. Spaghetti carbonara was very soupy in a bath of egg yolk. (Very Off putting). We will try again as we have gotten much better food there in the past. We have also used them for catering and been satisfied. read more

Ordered their spaghetti aglio & olio, we received what appeared to be just spaghetti! No olive oil or garlic! No bread was included! Ordered it delivered, don't know if restaurant or delivery driver stood order on end, toppings might have leaked out! Would give zero stars but even though ordered without chicken got chicken luckily wasn't charged for chicken! However, their fettuccine Alfredo was very good, but again no bread was included! Flies and fleas all over the table and restaurant throughout the subpar meal. A real disappointment in every way. Bread roll had been frozen and heated. Salt shakers were a solid mess. Lasagna is my favorite go to Italian dish. It's how I compare all the Italian eateries. This one was very good. Sauce was sweet the way I like it. Cheese was also good. I've been here on several occasions and the place does not disappoint. The food is good overall. I personally have never had anything that I didn't like. On my most recent visit, I went with my parents - mom had the Margherita pizza. I had a bite of hers. She loved it; but it was a little too thin for my taste. Dad had the Diavalo Marinara and loved it. I opted for a large Chicken Caesar Salad but got the house Italian dressing instead of Caesar dressing. This is basically because I prefer romaine lettuce over iceburg. Let me just say that this salad was huge! And...it was only $7.99! Most places you would have paid at least ten bucks or more for the same thing. And the house dressing was very good. I have to say that the service is also consistently good. A few months ago, my husband and I came here - I got a Caesar side salad and he got the wedding soup and we split a pepperoni pizza. The waitress came out to tell us that they burnt the crust a little and were going to make us a new pie. Well, my husband will eat anything and is beyond polite...so he insisted that they bring it out to us anyways. (And don't let him fool you...he's thin but he can put away the food!) Well, the waitress brings out the pizza. The cook cut some of the crust off and you 1) couldn't tell it was even burnt and 2) tasted delicious. They bring us out a second pizza anyways... free of charge! We end up taking the second pizza home. Voila! Lunch for the next day! Other Pros: Small, cozy atmosphere, restaurant and restrooms are clean, fast and friendly service Cons: It's next to a UPS store and a Supercuts, so the parking is a little tough at times. Also, they took the calamari off of the menu, which was one of my favs! Still, not enough to knock this little gem down a star! read more

My parents absolutely love this place. Just tried it for the second time this week and am still boggled as to why. First off, no complaints about the service. Very happy with that. Appetizers: we tried to get the calamari...they were out. Sad! We opted for mozzarella sticks instead, which were solidly mediocre. Parents got the chicken fingers which were actually quite good. I got the pasta siderno...it was, to put it mildly, not good. "Tossed in olive oil" is apparently another word for, "no sauce, no flavor." Very very dry. I tried my mom's stuffed shells which she absolutely raves about. The shells weren't too bad, the meatballs were a little mealy. But she loves them, too. Dessert was the highlight of the night. Pretty good tiramisu; obviously frozen but it was defrosted correctly and had lost none of its flavor. (You would be surprised how many places kill their tiramisu; ice crystals left in the dessert will just murder it.) My mother and I planned on splitting the dessert; she wanted to take her half home, I wanted to eat mine in-house. Instead of splitting it the waiter just gave us an extra tiramisu for free. Awesome! The highlight of the night. If the food isn't great, at least the service is. That kind of service will keep my parents coming back again and again. I dunno, I wasn't impressed, but I live in Columbus OH now and we have some great food options. You're a little more limited in Irwin PA. My parents seem to love it, maybe you will too, as long as you don't regularly eat in Pittsburgh or other cities (which generally have higher food quality due to all the competition) - if you do, I think you will be disappointed. read more

I came here with my aunt this weekend and it is a nice, cozy Italian family restaurant. The menu has a lot of great choices and the prices are really reasonable for what you get. First, let me just say that any place where I can get 2 tasty entrees, 2 salads, and 2 glasses of wine for less than $30 is awesome in my book! I salivate over checks that small since living in DC is a constant drain on the wallet. We both had house salads with blue cheese dressing, and I ordered the eggplant parmesan (though it is called something different on their menu). The salad was pretty big and the dressing was really good--so strange that this is a notable fact--but it was thick and creamy and delicious! The eggplant parm was nothing to write home about as it was evident that the eggplant patties were previously frozen and when I tried to scrape some of the breading off there was basically one centimeter of something that could qualify as eggplant inside. It was served on a bed of pasta, though, which made it plenty substantive. The house wine was also decent. Definitely not a bad meal if you're in the North Huntingdon area! read more

Good service. Decent red sauce on the Mamma Mia pasta which you can order w whole wheat linguini -- bonus!! Cappellini pomodoro was covered in diced tomato and good garlic flavor. Ordered meatball appetizer that comes w four meatballs and generous sauce/melted cheese which was great to add to the cappellini and linguini dishes. We ordered the small size which was more than ample. The Italian rolls were very wet on the bottom and undercooked. They can do better on that. Overall good food for the price. so, I moved to pittsburgh about 3/4 into summer, and decided to try Pasqualino's IE because I saw it from across the road while getting my car inspected at the Jiffy Lube. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ first and most importantly, the food: been there a few times, havn't been disappointed yet. the pizza is pretty much what you expect from proper NYC style pizza, with a crust just thick enough to support itself but not so thick to count as sicilian, and a decently good cheese mix and tomato sauce. I'm a purist, so I ordered cheese and pepperoni, and I don't really have much to complain about. just good pizza, and not too expensive either. the next time, I got the chicken parm on angel hair pasta, and it was also quite good. the noodles were properly cooked, sauce was good and the chicken wasn't overcooked (you can save an undercooked chicken filet but nothing can save an overcooked one.) and had a respectable amount of cheese on it. I only made it through half and had the other half for breakfast the next day. lastly, seriously order the bread. it's really good bread (made in house) and they put parmesan on the bread along with a bowl of marinara sauce to dip it in. good stuff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the resturant: the amusing part is this place is in kind of an odd spot, in a row of shops that includes a hairdresser, hearing specialist and a few others. if you don't know to look for it, it's very easy to drive past the place without noticing it just given how many businesses dot that part of Route 30. inside, it is very nicely decorated and furnished, with my favorite thing being the mirror/fountain thing hanging on the wall near where the restrooms are. just adds a nice bit of ambiance when the resturant isn't terribly crowded, because this place is kind of small and therefore gets a bit noisy when there's a lot of people. the staff are good and the service is quick, if it weren't so hard to find, get into, get out of and not quite as noisy, this place would be a 5 star all day. read more
