I've eaten at Cucina Bella twice, a couple of years apart, and both times our server was Mark. He…read moretold us he has been a server for a long time, so we expected a more attentive experience. Unfortunately, we found his service disappointing on both visits. The biggest issue was that he seemed to have too many tables to manage at once. There were several very large parties--tables of eight or ten people--and it felt like the two of us were frequently overlooked while he was attending to those larger tables. There were many times when he could have simply stopped by our table to check on us or take care of something, but instead we were left waiting while he handled the larger groups. He also had somewhat of an aloof attitude, which didn't help. We understand that large tables require attention, but smaller tables shouldn't feel forgotten because the server has too many tables to juggle. The restaurant itself is also a very loud, lively atmosphere, which may be worth knowing if you're looking for a quieter dining experience. As for the food, I ordered the lasagna, which does list peas as an ingredient on the menu. I found the combination unappealing. I remembered I believe I had their lasagna the first time (no peas) and loved it, but this time It wasn't so memorable. Overall, the experience was disappointing, particularly because we had essentially the similar service experience on two separate visits.

Well done Ham Team! Stopped in today for a sandwich to go. Several customers in the store and I…read morewas still quickly acknowledged and expeditiously served. No frills - just a simple ham and cheese sandwich on white bread to go. Plenty of quality ham sharing the sandwich middle with Swiss cheese and mayonnaise all enveloped by two slices of very fresh white bread. A perfectly balanced and well crafted sandwich. And, this review gets better! The staff appeared sincere in their desire and willingness to meet the needs of the customer. The staff sincerely appreciated my business. Take a bow store manager; from today's challenging work pool, you have found, hired, and adequately trained a team to represent your product as stellar brand ambassadors. Combine that with a clean and organized store and you have earned a grateful repeat customer.

Very disappointed with the quality of this order. They explained it that a new girl made the order…read more If she was not ready, why trust her with orders just yet, without checking them? First, I ordered the individual macaroni and cheese on DoorDash, but didn't get it and they said they don't actually carry it and it's on the site because it's a corporate item and gave me a potato salad in its place which is $2 less than the mac-n-cheese. No one contacted me to let me know in advance and only explained it when I called asking for it. Second, they handed the dasher a Honey Baked Ham lunch box only, with no bag. She said the girl also messed this up and didn't bag it. It was left on my porch and when I went to get it, bugs were crawling on the box which they could easily get have gotten into. No one saw this and corrected her??!! Their response was that I needed to contact Doordash with the complaints. Third, about 30 minutes later when I went to eat the lunch, I noticed that the Broccoli Bliss salad was completely dry, so I called and spoke to the Mgr to ask what happened to the sauce and the Mgr again stated that the new girl forgot the sauce. The one good thing was the Classic Ham sandwich and the potato salad. They were still good as usual. Overall; the care taken to prepare and hand off this order was unacceptable. It was not the quality I've known them to have in the past. It's not acceptable to just blame a new person. If she is making significant mistakes, why not check for accuracy??!! Perhaps these are checks and balances to consider for future order quality. Thank you!

I sat at the bar and met the owner. I got a beef roll. Haven't seen one of these since working in Ottawa. A beef roll in roast beef in a pastry. I love them. Got mine with mozzarella and hot giandanara. I also got a scampi noodle dish that was excellent. It's a beautiful restaurant that has opened up in my neighborhood. Clean restrooms. Pepsi. No Coke. Great bar. Service was quick. Food was hot and delicious. Nice family run business that I recommend everyone to visit. Great pizza too. Hidden gem.

Thought that was strange at 5-6 on a Sunday; core dinner hours. I had the chicken parmesan. I added on meat sauce for another $4 making it $25.99 total. Doesn't come with any sides other than garlic bread. 2 people in our party had the rigatoni, $13.99 each and then another $4 for meat sauce making one of the dishes $17.99. Again, only comes with garlic bread. My husband ordered the pan pizza with mushrooms and sausage. The older couple that was in the restaurant when we arrived was hyping up the pizza saying it was wonderful and had a thick crust and the pan came with so much cheese. When the pan pizza came out, it was thin, maybe more like double dough? But not a pan or at least what we in Chicago are used to calling a pan pizza. After talking to the manager, it was explained to us that because they cook this pizza in a pan, That's why they call it pan, not that the crust is any thicker. For $23.49 for a medium 12", he quickly rejected it, and sent it back to the kitchen. We will most likely never be back because the prices seemed a little high for some pasta and pizza and never mind the fact that we were the only people in the restaurant and we were never offered refills on our drinks & the Parmesan cheese was never sent to the table, I had to ask for that. As friendly as our server was, the service is definitely lacking for having been the only patrons in the restaurant for just about an hour.
