The food is consistently incredible, and the portions are huge...you'll definitely be taking some home for lunch the next day. One thing that really sets Cucina Bella apart is the layout and atmosphere. They have three distinct seating areas, and each gives you a totally different experience. If you're looking for a more upbeat, lively vibe, grab a table near the bar. For a quieter, more romantic date night, the main dining room is perfect. They also have an overflow dining area, which is great when they're busy (and they usually are for a reason). The wine selection is excellent, and the bar staff can make just about any cocktail you're in the mood for. Whether you're celebrating something special, going out on a first date, or just want a great Italian meal, this place delivers every time. If you're anywhere near Algonquin and craving Italian, this spot is an absolute must!

This is a nice cozy spot with New York style thin crust being the main draw here. They serve more than just pizza but trust me you come here for the pizza. They have slices up front that are put into an oven right upfront as well before serving ensuring a crispy and warm slice. We got a 14 inch cheese pie and got it well done. We didn't even get to eat it at home because we ate it on the way home because we were that excited to eat it! You can expect a light airy crispy slice with a good sauce to cheese ratio as well. This pizza rocks and I recommend it to everyone who comes through this area. I come from a restaurant background that includes management so I was rather impressed by something I saw in there while I was waiting. Every single kid that was in there was working and very attentive to their individual tasks at hand, not a single person just going through the motions or standing around . These kids/employees are coached very very well and it really shows up in the product and their attention to detail. Please come here if you value good pizza and great service!!

It tastes just like the pizza I had in Brooklyn and have been missing since 2019. The sausage, ricotta, garlic oil and the crust was perfection! I wasn't even through my first piece before I felt compelled to call them to praise how delicious it was! The service was great and we got our pizza delivered sooner than expected. I've been searching for good pizza in this area for a very long time and have been very disappointed until today. Can't wait to check out the ambiance next time I'm in town and meet the folks that made this pizza lover SO happy!!!! Not just 5 stars - 10 stars!

I sat at the bar and met the owner. I got a beef roll. Haven't seen one of these since working in Ottawa. A beef roll in roast beef in a pastry. I love them. Got mine with mozzarella and hot giandanara. I also got a scampi noodle dish that was excellent. It's a beautiful restaurant that has opened up in my neighborhood. Clean restrooms. Pepsi. No Coke. Great bar. Service was quick. Food was hot and delicious. Nice family run business that I recommend everyone to visit. Great pizza too. Hidden gem.

Ok sooo - I really wanted to like this place, especially after seeing it didn't have a ton of…read morereviews, etc. I am not sure if other reviewers weren't truthful in what they were saying, but here is what I can say for sure: - The service was fantastic! Our server was super nice, professional, and a really good dude overall. Seriously, well done. - At 7:15 PM on a Saturday night, this place should have been HOPPIN'. There was one older couple in the restaurant finishing their meal when we came in. That was it. There were four of us in our party and nobody else came at all from the time we were in there until the time we left. That's not a good sign. - We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, garlic, and spinach. When it came out, it was INCREDIBLY hot which is a GREAT sign. That means it wasn't waiting long, etc. It was good - I would say bordering on very good. For "bar pizza", it would have been 10/10. Super thin crust, crispy, etc. I really enjoyed it. It was $32 for ONE pizza that did feed 4 people (we devoured the entire pizza). Again, it was good / very good. It wasn't great or outstanding. - As far as the pasta, we each got one. I got chicken parm with meatsauce, my husband got chicken murphy, and the other two in our party got chicken alfredo and spaghetti with marinara. My husband's chicken murphy was honestly very odd, bordering on inedible. He had two or three bites, and absolutely didn't like it. I tried a bite and my face was like o_O what on Earth is this? Not a fan. The chicken Alfredo was perfectly fine - good but not great. Missing garlic for sure. The spaghetti with marinara was fine - good but not great. The chicken parm was, unfortunately, overcooked. The server recommended the meatsauce and actually, it was really quite good! It was a tad too salty, but honestly it was fine. The main star of the dish, tho, was not good. The chicken was surprisingly not dry - just over breaded / overcooked outside. All in all, the service was TOP SHELF. Our server was amazing and every other person in the place smiled, was polite, etc. That said, there was NOBODY there. After eating there.. I can kind of see why. We won't be back because, honestly, the vibe was just "meh" in terms of the meal itself.
