I was super excited to find out that Yelp had opened up the waitlist so that more Yelp Elite could try this place out! I immediately made an appointment online. I had an appointment with Gillian today and she was awesome. From the second I stepped in, it was a vibe. Super clean and very poshly decorated! First she talked with me about my skin concerns and overall routine. Then she gave me a breakdown of what she would be doing over the 1 hour facial. The time literally flew by and I was so relaxed by the end. My face is a little red (but we did do a fair amount of extractions and my skin is pretty sensitive to begin with!). Gillian even sent a follow up text for some skin care treatment recommendations over the next few days and sent me home with 2 samples to try out as well. The place smells good the minute you walk in, restroom is also very clean, the sink is just a little low ( for taller people you might need to bend more than usual) . The piano music in the background was also wonderful to listen. I have an appointment with Gillian, she did a great job. She explained the process to me thoroughly, it was my first time having micro dermabrasion and derma plaining so I was a bit apprehensive at first , Gillian made me feel at ease , she made sure I'm comfortable during the whole treatment process . At the end she gave explanation and suggestion on what to do and not to do, she also gave a sample I can use on my skin for the next few days to make sure my skin is well hydrated. I will start by saying... I don't enjoy massages.  Apparently, I don't like being pampered, and I don't like being squeezed by strangers.  Lol!   However, I don't mind the occasional spa treatment, so I decided to try a facial from The Only Facial (courtesy of a Yelp Elite Event).  It was a truly rejuvenating experience!!!   The moment I walked through the door, my esthetician, Ally Fons, greeted me and made sure I was taken care of throughout the entire process.  She's very knowledgeable and attentive, and she took time to explain each treatment in detail. She helped me address my dry skin by recommending I stop using the strong acne treatments. Since I only have the occasional breakout, using the stronger stuff is drying out my skin. Instead helping my skin, I was actually harming it. Mind blown!   The ambiance of the spa was very pink, but in a calming way.  There's even tea for you to drink while you wait.  This spa has one set price for all their services, which makes the entire process painless.  No hassle, no stress.   I left the spa feeling relaxed and with noticeably improved skin.  After the appointment, Ally texted me product suggestions to keep my skin looking healthy until my next appointment.   I still don't like massages, but I would highly recommend a facial from The Only Facial. read more

The signs out front on the sidewalk are coaxing you in with their balloons. The shop is smaller than I expected, which made it a more intimate experience. Dominique came out of a room and introduced herself and took me back (even though I was a little early). She explained the process along the way and added some background about herself as well as the business. You don't wear a robe here, as they stick to the face, not much done on the neck. So you lie down, get the wonderful hour of service and just sit up and go! But don't go too fast, as the service is so relaxing - yet stimulating at the same time! Just go try it. I have had facials before but this is one of the first places I have been where my skin did not break out after getting treatment. Miracle does a great job of learning about the client and deciding on products that actually help the individual person. Stars because I feel relaxed BUT the steps were not thorough or satisfactory. Eyebrows were not trimmed or shaped or even a conversation. Sucks because I specifically said I needed my brows done. Welp have to spend more time and money grooming them. Dermaplaning she missed a few spots because she went to the next step and I felt her go back to dermaplaning. I LOVE this place! Okay- there's so many levels of appreciation I have for The Only Facial. First, let me start with the end result- your skin will look and feel amazing! I've had two facials so far and each time, I've been really pleased at outcomes. Ally has been my esthetician both times and she's wonderful! The rooms at TOF are calming and it's such a treat to lay back for an hour and get a reset on my skin. There are 11 services that are offered, from microdermabrasion to extractions, to LED Light Therapy. As you may already be aware, the service is $140 and you get so many services. "No tips and no upsells" as they put it, really takes the anxiety out of the service and I wholly applaud this practice. I am happy to pay for excellent service and it's good to know the flat rate gets you the complete range of services they offer. Another added benefit that I found going to TOF, is that I felt so relaxed and able to let my mind go during the facial, that it was more than just a reset for my skin, but a reset for my mind. She's so great at explaining everything step by step and telling me why we are using the items/products that we are using. Overall the customer service is top notch and I love walking about and feeling confident about myself and my skin. I also enjoy the fact that there's no hidden charges or fees.. it's a base fee of $140. And that includes their tip/salary. It covers all 11 steps: 1) Cleansing 2) Brows 3) Dermaplaning 4)Microdermbasion (vacuum) 5) Chemical Peel 6) Massage 7) Extractions (yes please!!! Get all those black and white heads please) 8) LED Light Therapy 9) Microcurrent 10) Treatment Mask 11) Hydration/ SPF Most other spa places charge you $100 for the facial but if you want dermaplanning it's extra, and this and that is extra and by the end of it you're tipping them and you're spending close to like $160 sometimes. Had a wonderful facial with Gillian today! I love how they have a single price for the facial yet so much is included (even the tip). They also assess your skin so if you don't need something, you don't have to have it. They didn't try to upsell me or sell additional products either which was nice as a first time visit. I wish they had a better description of each person when I made my booking, I just picked someone randomly but she did a great job. The room we were in was quiet and relaxing - the heated bed and bolster under my knees was very comfy. The one negative I have to point out is the waiver you're required to sign. As someone who's worked in the legal profession for over 15 years, I wasn't comfortable with some of the language (venue for suit is a specific county in South Dakota & you're required to pay the legal fees if you challenge them - regardless of who wins - they also disclaim liability for anything & everything). Would I get another facial here? Probably, I enjoy facials but I just don't treat myself enough, but I might be more likely to try a location closer to my house. read more

A very delicate and dainty shop appearance, super cute, and covered in a somewhat soft pink color. The shop is nicely decorated, definitely gives off princess and Barbie vibes. Upon arrival everyone was so sweet , I love entering a place where everyone greets and acknowledges your presence. I was early but still greeted by name. This was my first of many facials to come . Cierra was my Aesthetician of choice and she was such an amazing choice. Cierra was soooo welcoming and sweet. I love that throughout my entire service she explained everything that she was doing , why she was doing it , the benefits of what she was doing and the expectations of what all she was doing . Of course with this not being my line of work/profession, there were more times than plenty where she used terms that I wasn't familiar with , but she would always make sure to explain in great details what she was referring to. Cierra was very gentle, resulting in a very relaxing and therapeutic experience. She was very honest and forthcoming. I say this because many people now days can be very misleading/deceitful in order to gain and maintain someone's business, especially in the line of work as such... Instead, Cierra informed me that my skin was pretty and already in great condition/healthy . And even complimented me by telling me that whatever I've been doing I should continue. She was very knowledgeable, and I can tell that she's passionate about what she does and we need people these days like that , who actually gives a d*** about what they are doing. I had a couple of skin concerns, that she properly addressed and suggested things I could include in my regular regimen that could help with those issues. We held small but fun girl talk , which made my first facial even more relaxing and personalized. The service includes eyebrow shaping , knowing this I made sure to not get my brows done leading up to my appointment. To my surprise, to only have not gotten them done in close to two months and Cierra to feel that they really needed no attention at all. But She still shaped them perfectly how I like them. After leaving , she sent me a couple of text messages that not only gave suggestions on products I could include in my routine but the purposes of the products and the locations(stores, websites, etc) to where I could find those products. I left feeling like my skin was glowing and free of all the yucky stuff. The playlist in the background was so calm and relaxing, Cierra even shared playlist with me. I hesitated none when I got in my car to download the playlist in Spotify . *I'll update my review a few days after this to reflect on how my skin is doing after the services. The only take away from this for me was how far it is from where I stay (1 hour away ), only I really enjoyed my services with Cierra that I'd gladly drive that 2 hours drive(accounting for there and back ) once a month , as she suggested.
