It was samples of their chocolate hazelnut which was delicious. The quality of the chocolate higher tier and you can taste it. Perfect blend between the matcha and the chocolate flavors. You also can break the amount of chocolate that you want and it could even be as small as a sample size too. I believe the cost is by how much it weighs and the type of chocolate? I ended up getting the smaller pieces of the matcha chocolate and the hazelnut chocolate. I really appreciated how generous they were with samples, you can explore different flavors before deciding what to buy. I tried the hazelnut chocolate and loved it. They also had a wide variety to choose from, like Dubai chocolate, truffle milk, truffle caramel, and some nicely packaged gift sets with mixed flavors. Everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good. The quality really just... the best, and you can tell it's premium chocolate. We bought five cubes of candy, 2 of which are dark chocolate almonds. The almonds tastes oxidized, you know that rancid long expired nut taste. It's not edible. Both boxes have the same rancid taste issue. We live two hours away so it's not practical to drive back for an exchange or refund. So we called customer service. It took a long time for a representative to be available to help us but that's ok. The representative promised a full refund and shipping us a replacement. We weren't expecting that as I just want the two inedible cubes refunded. But I appreciate them promising to make it right. However, two weeks has passed and we did not receive any refund nor shipping confirmation. So we called again, which again took a long time for a representative to be available. We explained the issue, and were told the first ticket was probably not submitted. They promised again a full refund and shipping us a replacement for the two defected products. And weeks passed nothing again. We called a third time. And I really just want the two cubes of inedible candy refunded. And was told "well we refunded you". But it's been 7 weeks there was truly no refund.. After three long calls and empty promises I gave up on trying to fix it. I'm just expecting adequate quality for what I paid for but they can't deliver. This is not advertised as your average brand. So I believe customers should receive not your average product. I don't condone these empty promises and false hopes either. Candy is supposed to make us happy. But this candy caused so much heartache for us. We did everything we can to delay the review and try to resolve it first. I genuinely always believe a bad product could be an accident and the business is willing to fix it. Instead of rushing to review I always reach out and explain and resolve it. We tried and are tired. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. If you do buy their candy. I really like dark chocolate covered almonds and quickly found a pre-packaged bag of them. There were a few dollars left on the gift card so my friend grabbed a couple butterscotch lollipops. When we were leaving, the worker gave us each several more samples to take with us. It was very generous of her. See's was part of my childhood and going there brings back fond memories.

During the quote stage, Apis was very communicative with us and accommodating of requested changes and estimates for additional services. Our vision for our florals was pretty specific, which was why during the design mockup stage, we were really in awe of their designs and felt that our vision had been heard and understood perfectly. They were able to pull in specific flowers that we loved (sometimes when we weren't even sure of their names and only had cropped screenshots to give them!) and found complimentary ones that matched our color scheme. We were impressed that they stuck around throughout the first parts of the day too, instead of just dropping off the flowers and leaving. They helped me figure out how to best position the bouquet for my entrance so that it looked natural and displayed the blooms beautifully as I descended the (massive) staircase into our ceremony. They also noticed the groomsmen slipping around in their shoes on the rain-soaked terrain, and immediately jumped in with a solution to add some traction to the soles so we wouldn't have any falls! They were even nice enough to gift us some of the vases which we had used as centerpieces. THANK YOU APIS!

I'm someone who gets overwhelmed with too much decision making, and I didn't really have a specific vision for my wedding flowers going in. I knew that I wanted purple and I wanted whimsy but that was about it. Our venue, Nestldown, already has beautiful gardens and landscaping and is surrounded by redwoods so I wasn't sure how much more I wanted to add as far as botanicals. Efrain was the perfect person to help us bring a cohesive look together. He asked great questions about the general feel we wanted for the day and gave us some recommendations of what we could do. I also really loved that he never tried to upsell us. He let us know if an idea seemed like too much, was unnecessary or would take away from the natural beauty of the venue. I knew that I wanted to use flowers and greenery that were in season as much as possible. It tends to be better for the environment, is less expensive and makes it more likely that we will be able to get blooms in large quantities when we need them because they are readily available. I could tell that this was also something that was important to them which made me very happy. At our second meeting they created a mock up of what our table centerpieces could look like. I was blown away! It felt like they had figured out exactly what I wanted when I didn't even know myself. Efrain also looked at pictures of my dress, my bridesmaids dresses and my husband's suit to better coordinate our personal flowers for the day. They also figured out how best to reuse as many of the arrangements as possible for different parts of the day which also helped us cut down on cost. On the day of the wedding, Efrain was so sweet! I could tell he was excited to show me what they had created and he personally wanted to hand me my bouquet. They stayed throughout the day to help move things around and make sure everything looked beautiful. They even added some magic to our wedding cake with fresh flowers! We were able to keep all of our arrangements, and we ended up re-using them for a 'Recovery Day' party we had the next afternoon. The flowers all still looked so beautiful a few days after the wedding that, after setting some aside to dry and preserve, I put the rest outside my front door and invited our neighbors to come pick flowers for their homes.
