He edited our mock up just a bit so we would get the best quality and so our tattoos would age well. His area was clean and neat. What I loved about Karen is that she gave her honest and professional opinion on placement of the helix. Where I initially wanted it was not going to be the best option because of the shape and curve of my ear. Being a woman herself, she knew I wouldn't love my initial placement ad recommended a lower helix piercing. I appreciated her honesty. She even asked if my two prior piercings were done by different piercers, which I said yes, and she knew right away they were from different people (because of the placement they did, going off of what I wanted and not taking my ear shape into consideration). I went with her recommended area and I couldn't be happier with results. She runs the show here at EA - a small, woman owned business which resonates with me. I do wish that they explained in taking the posts out 8 weeks later that they unscrew from the front of the ear not the back. I used dental forceps and wire cutters to get them off. I searched youtube for answers and they just said wiggle back and forth until they are free. After cutting the post off one ear, I could reconstruct it and see where the problem was in removing the back, like a regular earring.
